Departure
6am the alarm went off shanise woke up she had to prepare her self for her flight she didn't take long at about an hour's time she was done and waiting down stairs for everyone her mom Mrs Brown was down making a snack for shanise .

I was so excited I would be going to England yeah our Colonial masters but still. I am going I am supper excited it's a dream come true I got down from the bed got to bathroom brushed my teeth and took a long hot bath I want to feel so fresh and alive I am also going to bord a plane wow I almost screamed I got down and put on my Ankara fabric which I made me myself and It's my own design a turtle neck shirt gown with band and a side v-shaped front design it's so elegant , decent and a bit of sexy all in one any one who tries to bully me I will give them a piece of my confidence with this ongoing racicism I won't let and body put me down I am out to study and shine I imagine my self as a star walking the red carpet in grace with cameras once I come first class and collect my certificate ooooooooh myyy I was knocked out of my imagination when aunty Benny called me to get down stairs I hurriedly wore my wedge heels so that I would feel comfortable during the flight I got down stairs had breakfast with everybody but when I look at every body they where sad I felt sad immediately knowing I won't be with them to experiment Kelvin powers Melvin whinnying and aunty bennys gist about everything and nothing in particular and uncle's warm presence even though he is not always around but he treats me like his child after every evening meal he always asks me if I was full not to allow kelvin bully me .
I almost cried aunty Benny who was done with her food comforted me but I even cried louder while saying I will miss you all continuously we where at the airport boarding hall when my flight was called I hugged everyone even little Melvin who didnt know much was so clingy he didn't want to let go I wanted to stay back but I had to for my parents I had to to make them proud of me this is my promise to them we waved ontill we we're out of sight . I was seated on my seat close to the window marveling at the wonders of God to create such a beautiful world and to think we are just like spec of a dust in His eye yet he loved us and gave us this beautiful world I was distracted by my train of thoughts then I heard a voice

I continued looking out the window I was so immersed in to the wonders of the world I didn't know when I slept of the girl next to me woke me up to tell me we had arrived At the London airport it was a 6hours flight I got down went for my luggage on existing the airport I took a good eye view of the place it was beautiful I was really in England I waited for my relatives to come pick me up I saw my name Pearl Green It was held by my uncle who I last saw when I was still 10 years old he was looking older with a small half cast cute girl by his side sitted in the car is brunnet white woman I guess that's his oyibo wife uncle Edward went to England for studies at Oxford university after he fell in love he got married and lived here with his white wife as I strode towards their direction I saw that girl I didn't get her name looking lost I had to approach her

we got down I glanced at sophia it seems she was taking in the environment we reached for our luggages and went into the house it was nice and cozy unique furnitures infact everything was just different. And beautiful in its own way. We got in uncle edward told his wife to take us to the guest room we followed her to the guest room while we where settling in to lighten the mood I had to speak to create a friendly relationship our wife I am pearl she immediately introduced her self
