-The empire where the story takes place is called Imealia.

- Magic exists. They are in the form of elements.

-A person should have magic awareness or magic affinity to use elemental magic. Meaning, at a very young age itself, they should be able to have good mana control and stable mana flow.

-They also have a natural element. Natural elements are those elements that the person have the most affinity towards; basically, they can use natural elements at ease. They can use other elements but only at a smaller rate.

-There are also people with dual magic; that is, they have two natural elements. They are considered special and usually sent to the Mage realm, a place for the betterment and education of mages. They usually need a large amount of money if people want to enroll without taking the entrance exam.

-There are 7 realms: Human, Mages, Beasts, Demons, Fairies, Mythical Creatures and Elves. Mages are humans who have higher than normal magic awareness and can uses more than one element. Fairies and Elves use to live together in one realm, but after the Great War of the Summercrest Valley, their realm was divided.

-The Great War of Summercrest Valley was fought between the Black Sorcerer, the Demon Lord, The Blood Hound and the Prince of Moon. It affected all the realms and caused mass destruction. Thankfully, the Black Sorcerer, the villain, was defeated. After that, all the realms formed peace treaties.

-If someone has magic awareness, then they can survive the world. While for others, they usually out casted and called trash and stuff, even if they are from a noble family.

-Although if the non-magic user has some kind of ability or talent that not all people have, then, maybe they can survive and get a good job.

-Magical/ mythical beasts exist. They can be either tamed or signed a contract with. Then, the person can use its power too in battle. But these creatures are very hard to find and sometimes, very cautious against humans. So, they are usually tamed.

-But, because of the harsh treatment they received and after the First War known as the 'Battle of Terror' [more information later in the novel will be given], the emperor passed the law that said, if a mythical beast is tamed of signed a contract with, without its consent and under the royal witnesses, that would be considered illegal and most of the offender's assets would be taken away.

-Demons exist. There are many types of demons. They have demonic mana unlike mages who have natural mana. Most demons are considered to be vicious since there were times when demon tried to cause harm to the human realm. Along with demons, there are also mutated monsters. They consist of demonic mana like demons and are basically big mutated animals with demonic mana. These monsters have varied forms and attacks the borders of the empire.

-There is a specific time during Winter when a herd of monster attack and that time, the king and soldiers fight against them and keep the empire safe. That is called the Annual Hunting Season.

-There are times when these monsters come and attack at an unknown time.

-To defeat them, there are guilds and organizations that provide food, shelter and money for people who complete missions offered by the guilds and organization. These people who complete missions are called adventurers.

-Being an adventurer is a really good title and can boost your reputation.
