Pub

Siya opened her eyes, it's been 20 years now. She wiped the sweat, how can she still dream about that night. She remembered that was her first kill and since then there was no turning back , She stayed with Leo in Country S. She even changed her surname from Novis to Anthony, which was the surname of Leo.

Leo was an underworld gangster, many shivered upon hearing his name. Siya learnt from him, she wanted to be like her parents she had a regret in her life she could only remember that night about her parents and that night gave her goosebumps. She remembered how she pulled the trigger and that man's blood spluttered on her, she wasn't scared then at that moment But why was she still scared every night?

No one knew this. Siya Anthony the rumored but not confirmed daughter of Leo Anthony whose face was unknown to the world but her name was enough to scare people to the last degree. She was beautiful and has the most innocent face in the world but still could kill someone without batting an eye. Siya would get nightmares every night about that night which made her an insomniac.

She breathed in deeply as she remembered her school days, she did think to try and forget about everything and starting anew but her past haunted her and her friends wasn't kind to her as well. They tried to bully her and she in return broke their head by kicking them which made everyone scared of her in the end.

Hence she dropped that idea and forced herself to grow up and also asked Leo to make her become just like her parents. She tried dating also but every guy ended up cheating on her since they considered her to foul mouthed and unromantic, even hook ups wasn't her thing she did try them once or twice, she knew she didn't feel anything for anyone. She stared at the stars in the sky, it was rare to see a smile on her face but she smiled as she felt the night was so peaceful just as if the presence of her parents . After hours of staring at the sky, she changed her clothes, grabbed her coat and looked at the clock, she kissed the photo frame of the parents and whispered,

" Two a.m"

Which decent girl goes to the pub at this time? she thought to herself.

Watching her leave, Leo sighed he knew every night she would leave the house it has been this case since the last 5-6 years, especially since she completely learnt the techniques of protecting herself. He felt guilty seeing her quiet like this, he remembered back then she was so chirpy as a child but after she witnessed the death of her parents, she had become strangely cold and aloof. Leo was perhaps the only person with whom she would talk the most like some one hour a week. He knew she didn't talk much and preferred texts where she wouldn't have to talk. She would also never share her feelings but he knew she couldn't sleep at night. He always kept someone behind her which she obviously didn't know. That's how he came to know about her past relationships and he even ruined those boys. How dare they hurt his princess?

After a while, Leo felt a hand behind him,

" Lea"

Lea was the wife of Leo, the daughter of a simple peasant but she was as much involved in the business as Leo. Lea would watch her husband looking at Siya every night and she would come to bring him to sleep.

The two got married some 18 years back and Leo and Lea looked after Siya just like their own child. The couple had a son together who was currently 15 and was studying abroad in Country Z.

After half an hour she entered the pub,

The waiters awaited her, the pub would go on overnight the servers there knew that a girl would often come here, sat in her regular corner, would look at the ambiance, coldly have a drink and would leave after a while. Sometimes people would approach her, but her cold temperament would remain the same.
