1 Prologue
"Xiao Xi bend your back more! This is what I'm telling you! Stop eating too much! You're turning into pig!"
"I'm sorry Ms. Huang!" Xiao Xi said before bending her back a little.
"Repeat the routine!"
Ms. Huang continue instructing us the moves. She walk around and scrutinize us with her hawk eyes as if she's ready to devour every bit of us once we made a mistake.
I looked at the clock on the very top of the wall. It's already 5:49. I cursed silently. The game is about to start at 6 and I'm still stuck here! Damn that Xiao Xi! It's all her fault.
My heart pounded very hard when I saw Ms. Huang walking to my direction. Holy shit! Did I made a mistake? But I followed her instructions! Jukes! Maybe I slipped away when was I looking at the clock!
I gulped and silently prayed to every
Gods I know. Please let her just scold me and stop her from telling us to repeat the routine again! I will be so fucking late and I can't miss the basketball game!
The Gods seemed to hear me. Instead of me, Ms. Huang went to Ding Ding and slapped her butt for exaggerating the butt movement. Geez.
After completing the practice, the witch finally told us to stop.
"Remember all the things I told you today. Xiao Xi if you want to continue eating like a pig, stop attending this Ballet Class!"
Ms. Huang left the room after degrading half of us. Fortunately, I didn't hear any rebuke from her.
I immediately walk to the locker room to get my things. I took my clothes and change. Dang! I am so fucking late!
"Woah woah! Why are you rushing Roseanne?"
"Li Ying have you forgotten? Our school has a basketball game with Peking University!" Xiao Tong shouted.
"Oh my! Dang it! You should have said it earlier! What will I do if I didn't see those handsome dudes from Peking University?!"
I looked at the mirror and checked how I look. I am wearing a white cotton tank top tucked in a high-waist black pants and paired it with a white converse.
After combing my rosegold hair, I took my Louis Vuitton sling bag and ran.
"Roseanne wait for us!"
I ignored them and ran as fast as I could. I only stopped when I passed by the school cafeteria. I bought four Gatorades and a box of chocolate then left right away.
From the distance I can hear the loud cheering of the people inside the gym. There's no one in the grounds and it looked like all student went in there. I wish DK left a seat for me.
When I entered the gym, I was welcomed with the loud noise of the horn. I looked at the scoreboard and saw that our team's opponent pointed a score.
"What a 3 point shot from Peking University's player number 2, Jeffrey Wang!"
I covered my ears when loud screams echoed in the whole gymnasium. This bitches! Why are they shouting for their school opponent's score?!
My eyes wandered looking for my bestfriend. A hand waving in the air captured my attention. I smiled when I saw DK in the bench of our university team. I started walking.
"Hi Roseanne!"
"Hi!"
Some students greeted me when I passed by them. All of the students here know me. Being the daughter of Yang Guoqiang was a great help. LOL.
"Good Evening Coach." I greeted our team's coach and he just nodded at me.
His expression is kinda off. Maybe because the rival team is currently leading.
I also greet the other players. They greeted me back.
"DK you're a bench warmer again?" I teased him.
"What a welcome from you Roseanne." he snorted.
"Haha. I am just joking!"
I sit beside him. I took one gatorade and a piece of chocolate bar
and gave it to my best friend.
"Thanks."
"Why the heck are we losing?"
"That bastard Wang from the other team is really good."
"How about Felix?"
"He's the only one shooting a score and of course he's getting tired."
I scanned the area and looked for Felix. He's currently trying to forward against the other player. He's wearing their blue basketball uniform but unlike any of his teammates, there's a black shirt underneath.
No words can describe how beautiful this man is. I watched how his hair dance as he moves. His long white legs are busy running as he is currently dribbling the ball towards the rival's net with his long muscular arms. He's dripping wet from his sweat but that only add to his handsomeness.
"Why don't you cheer for your boyfriend?" DK suggested.
I followed him. I stood up and placed my two hands between my mouth and shout on top of my lungs.
"Go Felix! Go Felix! If you shoot that ball, I am going to give you a kiss here! I love you! You can do it babe!"
I heard a loud teasing from our school mates. Even Coach Tsu and the other players are laughing. My cheeks are boiling up with heat but that won't stop me from continuously cheering Felix's name.
"Holy fucking shit Roseanne HAHA. That was a good one!" DK laugh out loud.
My cheers are effective. I saw how Felix run like a jaguard and left his guard. He jumped, extended his long arms and throw a shot. A loud horn blasted followed by my screams of happiness.
Felix turned around and look at me. His eyes formed a crescent moon shape due to smiling and I watched how his lips mouthed I love you. I smiled back and sit at the chair giggling. Dang! I am too whipped for that guy!
"What a lucky boy Felix is. She got a very supportive girlfriend." DK said then moved near me and whispered.
"Roseanne maybe you can tell coach to let me play. I did not practiced hard just to be a bench warmer for this game! He's in a good mood right now. Please back me up best friend!"
I chuckled. My, my, DK.
I convinced Coach Tsu and luckily he let DK enter the game. DK really practiced like what he said. I saw how he easily passed his guard and dribbled near the ring.
"Go DK my best friend! Use that horse feet of yours! You're a horse right?! If you don't shoot that our friendship is over, you bastard!" I screamed loudly.
Coach Tsu and his players cracked up. I even laugh at my own foolishness. Well, I am already famous for being a funny one. But that's the reason why I'm friends with anyone here.
Our team catched up. Coach Tsu called for substitution for Felix. He walked to my direction and I was about to hug him when he stopped me.
"Rosie, I'm stinking from sweat. I don't wanna get you wet because of me." he said between his breath.
"Then sit here and I'll wipe it."
He followed and sit beside me. I took the Gatorade and gave it to him. Then I took one of my towels and wipe his face.
"It seems like Chan's energy booster is you Roseanne." Coach Tsu said teasingly.
"Your right Coach. My girlfriend is my energy filler. I'm really lucky to have her."
My face turns red after hearing that. This guy is so good in making my heart flutter.
"Do you see that boys? Get yourselves a girlfriend so that someone will take care of you too."
Felix and I laughed at Coach Tsu's words.
"So where's my kiss?" Felix said.
"Oops. I nearly forgot that. Haha."
I move my face towards him. I was about to kiss his cheek when he move his head and faced me. My lips landed on his soft lips and that earned a loud teasing.
"Damn it! Get a room please!"
"Respect for the singles!"
"Can someone be my girlfriend?"
I moved my head away and pinch his arms. He whimpher in pain then laugh at me. This flirt!
Felix joined the game again during the last 5 minutes. The game got so intensed. The rival team also has an ace which is guarding Felix and that bastard hinders him from scoring! I cheered like shit. I screamed until my voice got hoarsed. Then the last minute came up.
DK dribbled the ball and a player blocked him. He tried to get through the other side and luckily he passed through. He immediately passed the ball to his team mate. His team mate was blocked too by his guard that's why he passed the ball to Felix. Then suddenly that number 2 guarded my boyfriend. Felix tried to pass through him but that guy is stingy! He didn't give any space for Felix and blocked him from making a move.
"Fuck that Wang!" I screamed.
I was taken aback when that Wang looked at me. I bit my lip in embarrassment. Shit. Did I really cursed him that loud? Oh my gosh!
My knees trembled at how strong his gaze are. I covered my face and sit on the chair. Gosh that was so embarrassing!
Suddenly, the loud horn conquered the whole gym. Felix's team shouted in joy. I removed my hands from my face and looked at the score board. 91-88. We fucking won!
I jumped out of happiness! The crowd cheered for our school's triumph.
"We fucking won!" I screamed and dance like an idiot.
"Thanks to you Roseanne!" a player from our team said while laughing.
My forehead creased in confusion. What is he talking about?
"Huh?"
I didn't get an answer when the guy was called for team's picture taking. I looked at Felix smiling from eye to ear while looking at the camera. I'm so happy for him!
"Roseanne you sneaky bitch!"
I looked at the voice that cursed me and saw Li Ying and Xiao Tong walking towards me.
"Oy! I didn't know you were here too!"
"How could you know when you're too focused on your boyfriend?!"
"You didn't even wait for us!"
"Hehe sorry! I just don't want to miss this game. Can't you blame me?!"
"Yeah yeah whatever."
The three of us continue chatting. I sneered when they keep on talking about how handsome those Beijing University players are.
"Hey! Why are you admiring our opponents?! Our players are handsome too! They're better in basketball!"
"If it was not for your thunderous curse to Jeffrey Wang, they will be the victor!"
"You're right Xiao Tong! How could you curse that unbelievably handsome guy Roseanne?!"
"Are you stupid Li Ying? Of course she can do that! She have an unbelievably handsome boyfriend too! And Roseanne is gorgeous!"
The two of them continue on bickering of who is the more handsome. I got confused again when they mentioned that curse thing. Why is that related to our victory? Before I could ask my friends, Felix called me.
"Babe!"
I looked at his direction. I saw him waving at me. I smiled at him and wave back.
"I wish I have an oozing hot boyfriend too!" said Xiao Tong.
"I will set you up with my bestfriend. Do you know DK?"
Xiao Tong's face turned red. Hmmm. Fishy. I was about to tease her when Felix called me again.
"Babe come here!"
"Guys I'll be right back! Bye!"
I left those two and ran to Felix. His team mates greeted me and gave me high fives. I am closed to everyone here.
"Here's the lucky ace of the team!" Yi Tian called out.
"Yeah! If it's not for Roseanne, I don't know if we will win! Haha!" Hua Lei said while laughing.
"Everyone let's thank Roseanne!" said by Zi Tao.
Then everyone thanked me. What the heck is happening?
"Wait. Why are you thanking me? How am I related to your win?"
Felix put his hands on my shoulder. I looked at his handsome face then he talked.
"Your cursed to Jeffrey Wang got him distracted. I stole the ball and pointed a score."
"That was epic!"
The team laughed. OMG. Did I really cursed him that loud?
"Oh my! How loud was my scream?!"
"Enough for the whole court to hear." Felix laughed followed by his team mates.
"Holy shit." I cursed.
"Don't worry about it Rosie. Peking University is a hard opponent. What you did saved us from losing. Thank you babe!"
Out of the blue, he kissed my cheek that made my cheeks flushed red again. His team mates teased us how cheesy we are.
They took a team picture with me. Coach Tsu even told me to stand in the center because I am now their muse. Starting from today, I am officially their muse. LMAO.
Felix told me to wait in the school cafeteria while he's cleaning his self in their locker area. I also bid my goodbye to DK then I went back to Li Ying and Xiao Tong and the three of us walked outside the gym.
The moon is already shining in the dark sky. There is a slight hint of stars glowing too. I looked at my wrist watch and saw that it's already passed 7 PM.
"I can't wait for the school trip!" Li Ying excitedly said.
"OMG me too girl! It's been a long time since we went to the beach! I can't wait to flaunt my sexy body! I worked hard in able to get this!"
"Damn I wish I joined you when you asked me to work out!" I said with regret.
"Roseanne it's okay! There's no need for you to work out. Your body is fine as it is. You have an ant waist and a right booty! Also, you already have a handsome boyfriend!" Xiao Tong said.
"But my breast is not as big as yours!" I screamed.
The two girls laugh but suddenly their eyes widen.
"Why? What's the problem?"
"That's Peking University Players! They're inside the cafeteria! Let's go girls!"
I rolled my eyes and followed them. I can't believe that I'm friends with these two.
The hell Roseanne. You're like them too when you saw Felix.
"Let's sit near them!"
"Kyaaa. They're so handsome!"
The three of us sitted in the right table next to the Peking University 's Basketball Team. I placed my bag on the table and took my wallet out. I stood up and asked these two girls. I know that they will not leave their places that's why I volunteered to buy.
"What food do you want?"
"You decide for it Roseanne."
"Give me your money oy!"
"Here's my wallet."
"Charged mine to Li Ying."
"Okay. Enjoy gawking bitches."
I took Li Ying's wallet and walked to the counter. I greeted the staff and told her our orders. I took Li Ying's card and gave it to the staff. You made a wrong move Li Ying. Haha.
Carrying the tray of foods, I walked carefully to our table. The bitches didn't even noticed that I am already at the table.
"Hey snapped it out! Ying here's your card."
Fortunately the two girls were finally brought back to their senses. They took their foods and started eating. I clutched my burger and started eating.
I heard Xiao Tong greeting the men in the other table. The guys greeted her back. Li Ying joined and started talking with them too. I remained eating like I am the only person here.
I heard them complimenting how good the boys were earlier. I silently cringe when I heard them already flirting with each other. These guys are fast and my friends are ridiculously loving it.
Well I will just support these friends of mine. I want them to have a boyfriend too. If they want one, then get one.
"How about her? What's her name?" said by a guy with a very deep voice.
"Oh. This is Roseanne. Hey Roseanne!"
I stopped eating and looked at Li Ying.
"Why?"
"They want to be friends with you too."
I stared at her in utter disb
elief. Seriously Li Ying? Why include me in this thing?
I felt her feet nudging me under. I rolled my eyes and look at the other table.
"Hi." I greeted them then continue eating.
Where the heck is Felix? What's taking him so long?
It's like a magic because after mentioning Felix, I saw him entering the cafeteria. He's wearing a checkered polo with a white shirt underneath it. I sipped my drink and put it in the table. I gathered my things and stood up.
"I am leaving girls. Felix's already here. Go home safely. Text me when you're home. Bye."
Before I left, I kissed the cheeks of both of them. Felix greet them too and they both wave to say goodbye.
"I'm sorry. You waited for so long." he apologized.
"No it's okay. Xiao Tong and Li Ying accompanied me. Let's go?"
He took my hand and intertwined our fingers. The thing inside my chest beat loudly. It's reacting to its owner's touch. We started walking outside.
"Do you wanna go somewhere?" he asked.
"Let's eat at a restaurant. I'm freaking starving." I said while pouting.
"Haven't you ate at the cafeteria?"
"Yes. But I still want to eat with you!"
Felix chuckled.
"Okay. If my girlfriend say so."
We went inside his car and he drove off. I turned on the radio and chose for a station. I stop pressing the button and a familiar music played inside the car.
"Hey it's our favorite song!" I squealed.
Felix smiled. He opened his mouth and started singing.

I can't help but feel awed while watching him. Aside from his very handsome face, his voice is fucking angelic too. He's also kind and intelligent.
How could this guy be so perfect?
He stopped and looked at me as if he's urging me to sing. I smiled and started singing too.

I'll remember the world of that day when everything dazzled with just you alone đ¶
I remember the time when we first met. It's during our first year in college. I went to the library to study for the preliminaries. I was surprised to see a lot of student particularly girls inside which was a rare sight.
Some students greeted me and I greeted them back. I went to the bookshelves to find the Calculus book. Unfortunately the book was placed at the highest part of the shelf. So I looked around to find a ladder. There was no ladder around so I asked for help to the tall guy beside me.
"Hey. Can I ask for help? The book I needed is at the highest part of the shelf. My arm isn't long enough to reach it and there's no ladder around. Just a tall guy like you. Haha. Can you help me?"
Then he looked at me. I am pretty sure that my reaction back then was embarrassing. I was shocked when I saw how handsome he is. Tall guy with a fair complexion and angelic face.
"Sure, what book it is?"
"The Differential Calculus book." I said holding back my stuttering.
"Oh. Are you an Engineering student?"
I remembered how my heart fluttered when he continually talked to me. Man. I was used to guys flirting with me and I was not affected. But this guy was not even flirting with me but the effect was too much to conceal.
"Uhh-yeaah. Hehe. Civil Engineering. Are you an Engineering student too?"
"Nope. I am an Architecture student. Haha."
He reached for the book and I watched how his long arms grabbed it. Then he gave it to me.
"Thank you."
That's how it started. I learned that he was a student assistant in the library. I know in myself that I am completely smitten to him. So like the other girls in the campus, I consistently went to the library to see him.
Everytime I was in the library, I always asked for his help like getting books in the shelf when there's a ladder in the corner, borrowing books that I already have at home, asking questions about hard math problems, and everything I could use as an excuse to interact with him.
By doing that silly thing, we became close. We started hanging out outside the library.
As time passed, I learned many things about him. He's a scholar. His family is in the province that's why he's living alone here in. He's working part time in a coffee shop. I was amazed how responsible he was. He's not just a pretty face like the other guys. He can do many things and can stand up at his own feet.
"Isn't it embarassing for you to hang out with me? You know. You're freaking rich and famous in the campus while I am just a no one."
I felt a pinch in my heart when he whispered those last words. He's not a nobody!
"Why would I be embarrassed? You're not just a nobody Felix! Don't you know how popular you are?!"
"Popular for just having a pretty face. Nothing special. If I don't have this face, no one will even bother giving me a glance."
"Don't say that! You're not just a pretty face! You're more than that!"
I remembered how shocked his face was when I shouted that to him.
"I admit. Your face really captured my attention. But hanging out with you made me realize that there are many things to admire from you. Not just your pretty face."
"First of all you're kind. You're freaking smart! You're responsible! You love your family so much! You can stand at your own feet! Your face is just a bonus! Compared to the other boys, they're nothing compare to you."
I saw how his cheeks flushed with red and I realized how my words weighed. I bit my lip, abashed, wondering if I totally exposed my feelings for him.
"But I'm not rich like the boys that likes you."
"So what if they're rich? They're all useless kids depending on their parents wealth. A self-made and responsible guy is better compare to them. I don't need those assholes. So don't you dare degrade yourself. You're better than them."
Felix looked at me with a strange look in his eyes and he suddenly burst out laughing. I slapped my face when I realize that I have already exposed my self.
"Uh... Hehe."
"You're words hitted like an arrow straight to my heart Roseanne. You're the first one that said those words to me. You're the first one who was not just after my pretty face. You saw a different side of me. I am so happy to know that you think of me that way."
"You're an amazing guy duh!"
Silence filled the air. Until he said the following words that started this romance.
"Uhm, if you don't have anything to do this weekend, can I invite you to watch a movie this Saturday?"
I was dumbfounded when I heard that. His face was flushed with red but I'm pretty sure that the color to his face was nothing compared to mine.
"Okay." that's all that I uttered because I was on the verge of squealing.
The rest is history. We became lovers and now we're in our 2nd year as a couple.
I can't help but feel so lucky. How could I have him as my boyfriend? Sometimes I wonder what did I do in my past life to be rewarded like this.

"Woah! Your voice is as good as ever!" I said while clapping my hands very hard.
"Said by someone who can be a singer too." Felix said laughing.
"Okay. We're both great singers HAHA."
We both laughed. Damn. I am so conceited.
"How's your day? Did you do well in your ballet class?"
"Of course I did well! I don't want Ms. Huang to berate me!"
"You won't get scolded. You're the best student in your class!"
"Aww. Thank you."
We finally arrive at the nearest mall. Felix asked me to choose the restaurant and I chose the fast food instead. I want to eat unhealthy foods right now. Haha.
As always, he's the one who get our food in the counter and I was left in the table. I took my phone and saw tons of messages and missed calls. My face turned sour when I read one message.
From: Mom
Where the hell are you Roseanne?! Did you forget that we have a dinner with the Wangs tonight?!
"Is there a problem Babe?"
I looked up and saw Felix holding the tray of our foods. I turned off my phone and put it inside my bag.
"No. Mom just texted me. There's nothing to worry about. Haha. Let's eat."
"I see."
Felix sat on his chair and we started eating. The atmosphere felt down and we both know it. Dang. I wish I didn't read any message tonight.
"Why don't we watch a movie before I take you home?" Felix said energetically.
I smiled at him. This is why I love this guy so much. When he knew that my mood is down, he would try to light it up. He will not force me to tell what's the problem and instead wait for me to open up.
Like what he said, we watched a movie. Felix chose the comedy movie and we both laughed our lungs out. After that, Felix drive me home. He stopped in front of the subdivision's gate. I clasped out the seat belt.
"Bye Felix. See you tomorrow!"
"Bye Rosie. If only I could take you in front of your house."
My heart felt like it was crushed when I heard him said that with a sadness in his voice.
"I'm sorry babe. I..."
"You don't have to say sorry Rosie. I understand why I can't go inside. That's why I'm studying hard to make myself worthy for you. I know that there will be a time that your parents will like me. So cheer up!"
"Felix."
We both bid our goodbyes. I watched how Felix's car drive away until it is completely out of sight. I started walking inside the gate and greeted the guards. When the guards saw me, they immediately call for a cab. After 5 minutes, the cab arrived.
"Thank you."
I went inside the car and I told the driver our address. It's not always like this when I'm going home. I have a service car and a driver but it's always like this whenever Felix takes me home. He can't go inside because of my parents.
My parent's don't like him for unreasonable reasons.
It's been a half a year when I introduced him to my parents and until now I still can't forget how my parents slandered him for not having a silver-spoon in his mouth. They also accused him that he's only after me for my wealth.
Gosh.
But that won't break our relationship. That won't stop me from loving Felix. Until now, I'm still hoping that my parents will eventually like him. If I showed them how great he is. If showed them that he's not after my money and he love me genuinely.
I pay the driver and went out of the car. When our guards saw me, they immediately opened our gate and I start walking inside.
My heart is beating so hard when I am finally in front of our door. I close my eyes and get inside.
"Where the hell have you been Roseanne?!"
I saw my Mom standing near the sofa. Dad is just sitting there while staring at me. I gulped and start walking away.
"Stop! I'm still talking to you! Look at what you are becoming! Because of that guy, you're turning into an ungracious child!"
That made me stop. I looked at my mom and speak.
"Felix has nothing to do with this Mom! You're the reason why I started to feel indifferent towards you."
"I only wants the best for you Roseanne! And that Felix is obviously not!"
"And who's the best? The one you will force me to marry?! I don't even know that guy!"
"That's why we want you to meet him! That's why we arranged for this dinner! Don't you know how humiliated we are when you didn't come?! You made us a fool!"
"I never agreed in meeting them in the first place! Mom I don't want to meet whoever that man is! I have a boyfriend! So please stop arranging me into a fixed marriage! I only want Felix! Why can't you accept that?!" I screamed.
"What's wrong with having a humble background? He's kind. He's smart. He's responsible. He can stand up at his own feet! Unlike the other guys who only depend on their family's wealth! Like the guy you want me to marry!"
"Felix is not what you think he is Roseanne."
I looked at my father who is now walking towards me.
"That Felix is the son of one of my business partner that I put in jail for embezzling the money of the company."
"What?"
"He's just using you to take a revenge on me. So please break up with him. We will not do anything that will make you hurt. We only wants the best for you."
I looked at them and tried to process all the things they said. Felix? Felix is a son of an embezzler? The kind and super sweet guy is just only using me for revenge? No way.
"I can't believe it. You will really do anything just to ruin our relationship. How cruel of the both of you."
"Roseanne he will only hurt you! He's really not who you think he is! Why don't you believe us?! Do you want us to give you proofs?!" Mom hysterically said.
"I will not believe to any proof you'll give! You can change the truth into lie! That's how powerful you are!"
"Is that what you think of us?" Dad said with a cold voice.
"No Dad. I thought that you were different. I thought you were not like the other rich people. But I was wrong. Since the two of you slander a nice man like Felix, I saw a different side of you."
I turned back and started climbing up the stairs to go to my room. There is no point of arguing with them.
"Starting today, you are not allowed to meet him."
That made me stop from walking. I looked at my father's direction and saw how serious he is.
"I let you do all the things you want. I let you create troubles even if it affected our image. But this time, I will not let you walk into your own demise. Mark my word Roseanne."
My father started walking away after bringing out those words. My mother glance at me and gave me a look of disappointment before following Dad. I clenched my fist and run into my room.
When I get inside my room, I throw my bag, jump onto my bed and started crying.
I know what will happen tomorrow. I will have a bunch of bodyguards beside me like when I have a stalker during my 4th year in High School. They won't let Felix come near me.
Why are they like that?
Why must they create a story to defame him?
Why can't they just accept my relationship with Felix?
I took my phone and dialled Felix's number. After 5 rings, he answered.
"Hello Rosie."
"Felix!" I bawled out.
I told him what happened. I told him how my parents created a story about him being a son of an embezzler. I heard how Felix gasped when he heard that but I assured him that I don't believe to any words my parent said earlier.

My tears started falling. Just thinking of him leaving me makes my heart bleed. I can't live without him. I love him so much!
"If you give up on me, I really don't know what to do! They are already forcing me to marry another man and now you're going to leave me?!"
"Why don't we just runaway?"
I stop crying.
"Runaway?"
"Yeah. Let's runaway from everyone. Let's go to a place where no one knows us. Where family background doesn't matter, where riches doesn't matter. Let's go to a place where no one will judge us. No one will tear us apart. A place where we can be happy together."
Runaway to a place where we can be free. Place where I can be with Felix. Is there a place like that?

I closed my eyes and think.
Should I runaway with him? Am I ready for that?
I open my eyes and answered him.
"Yes Felix. I will runaway with you."
We finally decided to runaway together. We will do it on our school trip. We also planned to pretend like we broke up so that my parents will remove my bodyguards.
I was right. In the next morning, I was followed by 4 bodyguards. All students in the university looked at me like I did something fishy again.

I hugged her tight for the last time.
I'm sorry Mom. If you only accept my relationship with Felix, I will not do this. I hope you'll forgive me for what will I do.
The guard drove me to the port. I bid my goodbye to him and took my luggages out. I look at the big cruise ship in front of me. This is where it will all happen.
"Roseanne!"
I looked at the person who called me and saw Xiao Tong and Li Ying waving at me. I smiled at them and started walking to their direction.

I sipped at my wine glass and looked at the surroundings. Some of the students are dancing in the dance floor. Some are already wasted by the booze. All of them are busy with their businesses.
"You know what I respect you Roseanne. Even though Felix and you are already over, you're still you. You're not creating drama unlike the other girls who broke up with their boyfriends!" Li Ying said with his slurred words. She's wasted too.
"Salute to this strong and independent woman! If it was me, I will bawled out. Felix is such a great loss!"
"Why did you even split? Until now, you never give any details about it."
I gave them a smile and look at the sea.
"I still don't want to talk about it girls. I'm sorry. I hope you understand."
My phone vibrated. I looked at my friends who are still drinking their liquors.
"Excuse me. I'll just answer this call."
"Okay."
I stormed off and went to an isolated place. I took my phone out and answer the call.
"Hello."
"Rosie it's me. Everything's ready. Get all your things and go down here in the lowest deck."
"Okay. Wait for me."
I cut the call and went to Li Ying and Xiao Tong.
"Girls, I will go to my room now. I think I already drink too much haha. See you tomorrow!"
"Boo! What a weak drinker you are!"
I laughed at them and bid my goodbye. I went to my room and took all my things. Fortunately, all the students are in the upper deck partying. I stride across the rooms and went to the ladder.
After 5 minutes, I finally arrived in the lowest deck. I looked around and searched for Felix. I took my phone out and called him. I heard a loud ring in the far left and walk to that direction.
"Felix!"
I saw him in the balcony pulling out something in the water. I run to him and saw that he's currently putting his things in a speed boat. When he saw me, he immediately stood up and hugged me.
"I miss you so much." I said with tenderness in my voice.
"Me too."
He released me from his embrace and took my luggages.
"Did you bring all the things you needed?" he asked.
"Yes. How about you?"
"They're already here. Oh shit. I forgot my phone in my room. Get in the boat and wait for me here. I'll go back immediately."
He gave me a kiss on my cheeks before leaving. I look at the boat beside me. We are really going to elope. I can't believe it.
I lifted my feet and stepped in the boat. The boat start moving more due to the waves of the sea and my added weight. I sat on the wooden chair and waited for Felix.
10 minutes passed and there is still no sign of him. I looked around and see if he's already coming here. I started to feel nervous when Felix is still nowhere to be found.
Where is he? What took him so long?
I was about to step outside the boat when I heard a man's scream.
"Roseanne! Cut the rope and drive the boat!"
I looked at where the riot came from and I saw Felix running in the upper deck. Behind him are 4 muscular mens chasing him.
My heart dropped.
Oh my god.
Those are my bodyguards. What the hell are they doing here?!
"Roseanne! Do what I said! Cut the rope and drive the boat!"
Even though my hands are trembling like shit, I searched for any sharp object inside my bag. I shriek when I touch a metal object and when I took it out, I found a scissor.
"Uggh! Get lost you bastards!" Felix angrily screamed to the men who is following him.
With my shaking hands, I put the mouth of the scissor between the rope and started cutting it. I yelp when I finally cut the rope. The boat started moving away from the lower deck.
"Felix! Hurry!" I hysterically shouted at him.
I went to the wheel and put the keys in the keyhole. The motor of the speed boat blared. I looked again at Felix and saw that the two men are one step behind him.
"Arrrgh! Shit!"
"Felix!"
The muscular men are already grabbing Felix shoulders. He tried to struggle from their grips but those men are too strong for him.
"Felix!" I cried out.
My tears starts falling. Does our plan fucked up? Is this the end of us?
I saw the remaining guards charging towards me. Fuck! Fuck you all!
"Roseanne drive the boat and get away from here! If they catch you, it's already over for us!"
"What the fuck are you saying Felix?!"
The guards are getting nearer. What the fuck is Felix thinking?
"Leave me here! Leave!"
"I can't fucking leave you here Felix!"
"You should Roseanne if you don't want us to be separated again! I'll see you at the port! Drive away! Go! Leave! "
"Fuck!" I cried.
I turned the wheel and started driving the speed boat. I heard the loud calls of my bodyguards. I looked back at the ship and saw Felix lying on the floor.
"HAHAHA. "
Shit! Felix got insane!
I continue driving the boat until the glint of the cruise ship were gone. I shivered when the strong wind blowed to my skin.
When I got tired, I stop driving and turned off the engine. I look at my surroundings. If not for the stars shining in the sky and reflecting it's light on the dark colored waves, it will be so dark here.
I wondered what happened to Felix. Is he okay? Did the guards beated him to death?! I wish not!
The wind blows hard again. I hugged my body to lessen the cold I am feeling.
And it suddenly hit me.
I am all alone.
I am in the middle of a wide ocean.
I am in the middle of nowhere.
I am scared.
I am scared to be alone.
I started crying again.
I am so scared.
What if there are sharks here?
What if there are giant octopus?
What if there are sea monsters?
What if they attacked me?
What will happen to me?
No one's here with me.
I'll die for sure!
I am so scared!
I slapped my self. Get a hold of yourself Roseanne! Stop thinking silly things! No one is here to save you. You should depend on yourself!
Keep calm Roseanne.
I laid on the floor. I should rest. I should save some energy for tomorrow's journey. I am pretty sure that I will drive all day.
I closed my eyes and tried to sleep.
And suddenly, the darkness swallowed me.
Bright ray of lights woke me up. The bright blue sky welcomed me when I opened my eyes.
Shit. I thought it was a dream.
I sit down and looked at the blue ocean. There is no mountain or any trace of land. Shit. Where am I?
I took my bag and searched for my phone. I cussed when I see that there's no signal. Fuck! How can I contact Felix?!
I am in the fucking middle of nowhere! How am I supposed to go to the port?!
Fuck!
I stood up and started the engine again. There's no point of cussing. Maybe if I continue on driving, I will arrive in any island and finally get a signal.
Days turn into nights. Night turns into days. Until now, I am still stuck here in the middle of the ocean.
"Fuck."
My weak hands threw the water bottle away. I reached for the white plastic container and cursed again when I didn't get any food left.
I don't know how long I was floating here with the boat. All the water I brought, all the foods I packed are all gone. I think it was 3 or 4 days ago when I last ate. There aren't any gasoline left for the speed boat too. That's why I'm just floating here. With no hope left.
"I am going to die." I said to myself.
There is no point of being positive.
I tried my best. I did all I can do. But nothing happened.
I am sure that I am going to die.
Maybe it's my karma.
My karma for being selfish.
For being an ungrateful child.
Maybe the heavens are punishing an evil person like me.
I want to cry but I am too dehydrated to do that.
I want to whine but I have no left energy inside me.

Is he still waiting for me in the port?
