21 A Duel In The Sands

Barely a couple of seconds passed before Jafar had already begun his first spell, causing multiple fireballs to appear behind him. he then shot them upward. As they marked downward, causing numerous explosions, I'd already managed to dodge them.

As if expecting that he extended his staff forward in a swirling motion, and the sand around me began to try to cage me, I spread my telekinesis out and sent a blast in all directions, causing the man and the macaw to be sent flying, but using his staff, he caught himself mid-air and stabbed into the ground.

Summoning multiple tornadoes around him, he sends them at me at high speeds, and within them are multiple shots of glass that the fireballs have superheated.

I then slammed my fist into the ground, causing a massive shockwave that blew the tornadoes away and all of the glass back at Jafar. He then raises his hand and catches it using some more sand.

He then sends waves of sharp glass back at me, in addition to dozens of fireballs that have all been sped up by gusts of wind. But I simply teleport away from each and every wave.

Jafar's annoyance seems to be growing as his bird, Iago, flies around the battlefield, screaming multiple profanities and insults.

" Wow, I've seen pathetic powers before, and this takes the cake! It's going to take a lot more than parlor tricks to take him out!" before he can shout anymore, I used my telekinesis to shut that beak of his closed.

As the macaw is unable to breathe, he falls to the ground, causing Jafar to sneer at me before he gathers more power.

" I am the master of magic, child! Behold, my might!" As Jafar exclaims this, he slams his staff into the ground once more, summoning hundreds upon hundreds of small poisonous snakes.

The snakes try to slither towards me, to which I fly up into the air and slam into the ground, sending all of the snakes flying. Jafar then manages to catch all of the snakes using more sand , and he then utters his next spell.

All of the snakes then merged into a giant serpentine creature that stared down at me. Jafar, then using a kind of teleportation spell, teleports on top of the creature and points his staff towards me.

I then feel chains of sand form on me, and I teleport out of them right on top of the snake and try to punch him as I do so, Iago,Jafar's bird steps in front of it or flies in front of it in this case, and takes the hit and literally explodes into pieces.

The man, somewhat annoyed, then summons a blast of wind, throwing me back. As I catch myself in midair, I then teleport to the back of the snake, grab its tail, and begin to spin it around.

Jafar then summons hundreds of more chains of sand to try to stop me, but I already throw the snake into the air and grab all of the chains of sand; I use it as a whip and grab the snake by the tail once more.

My chains wrapped around its tail. I begin flying upwards at my top speed. In seconds, I've already hit the mesosphere, and tossing it upwards, I teleport above them even further and gather momentum. I fly downwards at my fastest speed.

I begin to feel a bit of heat gathering around me as, due to the increase in velocity, the air around me starts to heat up.

Using my teleportation to increase my velocity, you could hear multiple sonic booms as I slam right through the head of the snake. It's blood and guts, covering my body with Jafar, growling and screaming in rage.

Jafar tries to send multiple blasts of fire and air, as well as even some lightning, at me, but I am able to dodge most of it, and my telekinetic aura can make most of the damage pointless.

"Why! Won't! You! Die?!" Jafar continues to scream this to me as he falls to the ground. As he does, I literally blast them in multiple times, and as the last one hits his stomach, he coughs up blood.

Using his staff once more as he was about to hit the ground, Jafar summoned a tornado of sand to catch him mid-air. In contrast, I used my telekinesis to snuff the tornado then, and as I did so, I grabbed him by the arm and slammed him into the ground multiple times, breaking a decent amount of bones in his body.

"AHHHHHHHH! You bastard!" the dark wizard then summons more snakes to wrap around me, but due to my telekinetic aura, they aren't able to bite me. But I had to temporarily let him go to get all the snakes off me.

But as I let go and blasted the snakes away, I gripped his golden snake staff, and as Jafar tried to use his magic to loosen my grip, I already kicked him in the chest and sent him flying. Jafar is then knocked into the Sand dunes and continues to be sent back by my telekinetic force.

Using the sand behind him, I telekinetic form a large hole where he's going to land, and as he lands in the hole, I bury him in the sand up to his head.

Then, summoning more sand, I telekinetic open his mouth and force the sand into it so we can't utter any incantations. But as I do so, the ground around us begins to shake as dozens of large spears of sand, as well as glass, fly at me.

I reach my hand behind me and stop all of the spheres of sand and glass before crushing them and sending them back into the ground. Realizing that this was going nowhere, I teleported us to the one place we wouldn't be able to manipulate sand: Antarctica.

As I did so, I could faintly sense some presence around us, but I just assumed they were just animals. I presume Jafar had never seen snow before living in the desert, and as he looked around and found himself in the middle of a tundra, he looked at me as if I was some alien creature, which I technically was.

"Where are we?! Are we on some foreign plane?! Speak you, cretin!" Deciding not even to continue this, I steeled myself for what I was going to do. Telekinetically, grabbing his body that was stuck under the snow. I lifted him up and gripped Jafar by his neck.

It feels too easy. A small part of me is disappointed in this, but I had mentally prepared myself for this. Jafar, however, continued to speak. I could sense him trying to breach my mind, but thanks to my enhanced brain, Jafar's attempts to hypnotize me were pointless.

Jafar tries to punch me multiple times, and as his hands become bloody and his knucklebones are exposed, he continues to scratch and struggle.

" Unable to kill me? You don't deserve this power…. You can't even look me in the eyes, can you?" As he says this, he is barely able to choke out the words. I take a deep breath and look him straight in the eyes.

" I have nothing to say to you." Before he can sputter out more, I telekinetically increase the strength of my grip, and I hear multiple snaps, and his body goes limp in my hand.

I then took out the small dagger that Jafar had on his person and stabbed him multiple times, finishing them off with a stab to the heart and one to the brain. If there's something I've learned from watching movies, it is that you always want to double-tap.

After looting him with all of his valuables, I took his staff and other magical items. I teleported the both of us above an active volcano, where I proceeded to drop Jafar's dead body. The wizard Jafar, unmoving, falls into the lava and disintegrates.

I waited a couple of minutes to see if anything happened, but after doing so, I teleported back in front of the cave of wonders. The glowing stairwell that leads down to nearly infinite treasure beckons me forward.

Before doing so, however, the giant sand formed lion bellows " I would have to say, out of all of the battles I have seen amongst thieves, and cretins, that was one to remember. I do believe you all shook the entire desert with a few of those blows."

"I did what had to be done. That was always the goal." the words come out faster than I could even stop myself from uttering.

The lion then seems to raise one of its eyebrows and says, " If you say so, but know that many have said the same thing. Be sure only to touch the lamp; I shall speak no more." the lion's eyes then grow dim as I walked down the stairwell.

Using my telekinesis, I removed all of the blood stains and returned the clothes that I was wearing to their more proper shape. The steps themselves seem to stretch on forever. Thankfully, I was inserted at the time that Jafar allowed Aladdin to enter the cave, or else I probably would've been disintegrated.

Eventually, I saw a light at the end of the tunnel, and as I gazed out into the cave, I saw mountains of never-ending gold and jewels. It seemed just to stretch on forever, similar to what I assumed Erebor looked like in The Hobbit.

As I floated into the air using my telekinesis, I flew across the endless sea of gold, and I saw the light shined down from the ceiling. Somehow, I saw what looked to be Aladdin about to touch the lamp.

Looking towards Aladdin's monkey Abu, I immediately saw him about to reach for one of those blood diamonds, and using my telekinesis, I stopped it right and its place and lifted it into the air.

Honestly, I was more acting on autopilot at this point. Killing someone is never good for someone's sanity.

I just wanted to be over and done with this.

But as Aladdin picked up the lamp, he noticed that his friend wasn't making any noise, and as he looked over to where he left him, he saw that he wasn't there.

"Abu, where are you? Don't tell me you're trying to grab one of those golden bananas we saw on the way in." I then floated behind him and tapped him on the shoulder.

After jumping back in surprise, with his eyes somehow popping out of his head, he places the lamp behind himself in order to hide it.

Scoffing, I say, " I assume you're Aladdin?"

"Who wants to know?" Aladdin asks very hesitantly.

"My name is Basim. I am the one who studies under Jafar, the grand Visier. I was sent out here by him, and when I found the cave, I entered it." I had to word my answers very clearly in order not to trigger the drawback of telling the entire truth.

Aladdin then kneels, dropping the lamp. As I pick it up, I continue, " You were late on a bit of a wild goose chase, Aladdin. That older man out there would've stolen the lamp from you, as he is a known criminal. Even if he does his best to hide it, he is stolen from many. After retrieving the lamp, he probably would've left you in this cave to die."

The young thief takes a very deep breath at this information and asks, " What of you, Lord Basim? Do you desire this lamp as well? "

Seeing no point in lying to him, I nod, and as his spirits begin to lower, I explain myself.

" you see Aladdin in this lamp, hold a very powerful genie, and if he has anything like the legend says, they are very tricky beings that would use your own words against you. You, for example, wish to become the richest man in the world? A genie may take that wish and kill everyone on the planet, making you the richest man." the possibilities then begin to dawn on the young thief, as he is by no means an idiot, and he starts to sweat profusely.

" Then, if this being is so powerful, what should we do with it, my Lord?" To answer his question, I rubbed the lamp open the top and waited for the show as Aladdin screamed out in fear.

The ground then begins to shake, but before the genie appeared , I tapped Aladdin with my increased strength in specific areas to immediately knock him out along with his monkey. When he wakes up, he will believe this all to be a dream.

"Well, well, well, looks like I have a fascinating master here. What shall this refined genie grant you today?" The genie, appearing in a blunt puff of blue smoke, asks as he gets in my face.
