Pike

Clarke's POV

About a week later..

After Lexa has made almost a full recovery, we get on horses and head to Arkadia. The blockade is still in effect and we want to come up with a plan. When we get there, Lexa gets off her horse and comes over to me. She holds out her hand, and I take it with a smile. Once I'm off my horse Lexa says that we will go to the main gate. I already see everyone in Arkadia crowding around to see what's happening. When we get to the main gate, I tell a guard to open it. Lexa and I walk in and she speaks. "We will lift the blockade, but with one condition." "What it is it?" I hear Pike say, as he walks to the front of the crowd. "We want you, chancellor Pike." Lexa says to him. "We will lift the blockade after chancellor Pike's death." She says to everyone. Some people look mad, but some look like they would take the deal. "Not gonna happen." Pike says. "I say we give him up!" I hear someone yell. More yells follow, and most are for Pike to be sacrificed. "The people have spoken. Pike will die today, in order for us to finally have peace." I say. Pike starts to run, but the people that agree with us manage to quickly get him up. "Tie him up." Lexa says to a grounder. The grounders tie him up to the same tree the tied Finn too. Everyone gathers around. "I'm sorry. I know this is the same tree Finn was tied up to." Lexa says quietly, as she grabs my hand and squeezes it gently. "It's ok. I got over him a while ago. You did what you had to do." I reply. "I'm sorry you had to kill him." Lexa says, as she looks in to my eyes. "I know." I say. Lexa nods and starts to talk to everyone. "After chancellor Pike of Skaikru has died, the blockade will end and we will be at peace with Skaikru. Each of us will take turns cutting him 300 times, for the 300 of our warriors he has killed." Lexa looks to Indra to go first. She cuts him on the stomach, and he lets out a cry. All the grounders go, and I am second to last. I walk up to him. I cut him deep near his ribs, where it will hurt a lot. He yells in pain again. Lexa goes last, and she takes out her sword. "Yu Gunplei ste odon." She says. He stares at her angrily, before her sword slides into his heart. "Burn him." Lexa tells a grounder. "We will head back to Polis now." Lexa says to me. "Do you want to stay with Skaikru, or will you go with me?" She asks. "I will go with you." I say before I kiss her cheek. She blushes, and helps me onto my horse.
