Chapter 24: Deja Vu

"Brig, be careful. Orion might cry," I told her when she started to tickle him on the stomach. 

My son, Orion, hates tickles so instead of laughing he'll cry. 

"Shush! I know, I know. I'm just playing with him." She retorted and just stopped tickling him but she's poking his cheek that makes my son smile.

"Don't let him laugh too much," I said before turning around to go to the kitchen and make food. 

I didn't know that they followed me. 

"Vella? Will you eat? I thought you're on your diet? What happened? Piolo will surely get pissed." I shake my head then laugh a little bit. "Don't worry, I'll just cook for you. I know you can't resist."

"Ha! You hit the right spot. Ugh! I hate you." She teased me and even said words to my son that I'm a trickster. 

I put the sandwich in the oven to bake it for a few minutes. Leaning on the counter table, I spoked. "Anyways, do you have work later?"
