As Malia walked back to the cafeteria she kept replaying the moment she had with Mr Kim.

What just happened there?

Why did he do that?

Does he like me?

But he always taunts me in class…

She walked slowly until she reached the cafeteria and went up to Mable's table and sat next to her, everyone was laughing at a joke Tristan cracked.

"Malia you missed the joke Tristan told us ,are you feeling alright?"Mable asked with so much concern that everyone at the table looked at her with concern.

"I'm okay I just needed some time alone continue laughing,"

Noah glanced and winked at Malia and she did the same with a fake grin and that made Tristan send Noah a death glare.

After lunch the students went to their respective classes and learnt until 5 PM.

When all the students made their way out of the school, Tristan called out to Malia at the parking lot.

"Hey wait up!are you going to bring the notebook tomorrow or do you expect me to come and get it myself,"

Malia glanced at him blankly and sighed,"I'll bring it tomorrow no need to come over please!"

"As if you wouldn't want me to visit you!"Tristan smirked which made Malia sneer,"what the fuck!don't feel your shit okay?"

Tristan chuckled under his breath as she kept staring at his face.

"Okay no need to insult me, I just wanted to ask why you excused yourself at the table!"

"None of your business!"

"It is my business,now tell me!"he said as he stomped his foot down and drew closer to her but she moved backwards.

"Why is it your business to know?"

"Because…. you're special!"he said, which made Malia's jaw drop and saliva started drooling from her mouth.

"Hey you don't have to drool!"Tristan said in between laughs and Malia wiped off the saliva.

"Are you serious?"

"Of course I am ,I have never told anyone that they're special...you're special Malia!"he said seriously as he caressed her right cheek.

Before Malia could utter anything Alex budged in between them,"sorry to cut the romcom here Malia let's go home now!"he said as he dragged her to the car but she kept staring at Tristan who blew her kisses as they left.

"Why the hell did you do that!"Malia declared angrily which made everyone in the house stare at her and Alex as they entered the house.

"Look that guy is a flirt,a fuck boy and a dick itself,stay away from him Malia!"Alex declared angrily.

Leah and George said in unison,"what's going on this time?"

Malia went up to her room in anger and Alex went to the kitchen, Eva looked confused just like her parents.

"Your children are a pain in the ass Leah, straighten them out please!"George said as he also walked up to the master bedroom. Leah and Eva continued watching the Simpsons.

At the Verratti residence, Tristan came home late.

"Where were you, young man?"Sofia said as she walked up to him angrily.

"Mom, I had something to do!"he said as he glanced at Mable who was minding her own business.

"You should have informed me about it,I was worried sick your father told me to watch over you guys!"

Mable stood up in surprise and yelled,"what,how could Dad leave without saying goodbye?"

Sofia looked at her and chuckled,"Don't act childish Mable, anyway I need to talk to you Tristan let's go to the study room!"

Mable rolled her eyes and went to her room.

Tristan and Sofia went into the study room,he sat on the couch and Sofia sat on the office chair.

"So how are the arrangements for the new shipments going? your Dad is going to send some this weekend from Afghanistan."

Tristan had a parallel look on his face,"but why Afghanistan,is he close to the Taliban's leader?"

"Yes he is and we'll make a huge profit this time, I hope that you're aware that this year's Mafia ball is approaching. We need to prepare thoroughly!"

"So did you get the notebook?"

Tristan looked down and sighed heavily before he said,"sorry mom though I have just where I want her to be!"

"Do you think she's also a daughter to a mafia group?"Sofia said sheepishly.

"Yes Mom then why did they send her to the basement? They only send children like us there so I'm positive that she's part of our world but what I don't know is who's daughter she is!"

"We'll soon find out when she comes to my function,I hope you asked her out?"

Sofia smiled at her son and said,"be careful and don't mess this up,how's Connor?"

"Oh Mr Kim he's okay,he just likes pestering and taunting Malia Alot!"

"Oh he's still strict, you should pass my regards to him!"

"But why do you know each other personally,or intimately?"

"Yes, we were good friends at college,he asked me out but I rejected him because he was too young for me!"

"Wow that's awkward timing...but did you have a thing for him?"

"Of course I did, have you seen his looks?"Sofia yelled.

Tristan laughed and said,"okay Mom goodnight I don't want to know anything about your lovelife."

At the Emeralds residence, George,Leah and Alex were watching the current affairs and the top story was about a dead body that was found near some farms in Boston.

"People are so cruel ,why would someone normal human being assassinate a renowned man who's married to Mrs Powers!"Alex said as he sipped on his bottle of water.

"Honestly Alex, yes it's so cruel of them to do that!"Leah supported as she smirked and glanced at George who looked guilty.

"Excuse me!"George said and went to the bathroom in the passage near Malia's room.

Ring! ring!ring!

George's phone rang and he answered the call,"Sir I'm so sorry about the news,the body has been found now!"

"You dimwits don't know how to handle a simple job, now you messed up, we are dead meat!"he yelled which made Malia go and peep by the door.

"Sir, we'll make sure they don't incriminate us!"

"Make sure you sort out everything, when you go down .I'll dispose of you and your henchmen!

"Sir take my word for it I will make sure they don't incriminate us in any way!"

"This discussion is done just keep an eye on Mrs Powers now divert her investigation of her missing daughter,we don't want the blame to be pinned on us,I don't want to lose Malia!"he exclaimed and this made Malia fall to her knees upon hearing this.
