21 CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

Electricity sweeps through her and she couldn't hear the explosions anymore, all she could hear is the sound of her heart about to burst out. She held him tight as she could feel his lips caressing hers.

He looked into her eyes "Alex". Alexandra opened her eyes and could see Ha Joon, "he is looking so pretty right now". She thought, Ha Joon smiled at her. "Hey!" Alexandra said smiling slightly

"Hey" he replied as they both laughed softly, they saw a girl puking near them. "Ewww!"

"Come on", Ha Joon said, he pulled Alexandra with him. They sat on a rock near Kate's apartment

"this is the first birthday I will celebrate away from home" Alexandra said chuckling. Ha Joon looked at her "really? How was it like celebrating your birthday at home?" He asked "cool, mom and Justina.....at home...having girls talk" Alexandra said laughing out. Ha Joon smiled "do you miss home?" He asked.

"To be honest, yes I really do" Alexandra replied looking at Ha Joon.

"What about you? When is your birthday?" She asked Ha Joon, he looked away "I think...."

"You think?" Alexandra replied sharply "what do you mean?" She added smiling. "We have passed my birthday Alex". He said smiling. "Aww, I wish I was there to surprise you" she said.

"Awe, you are so cute". Ha Joon said as he squeeze her cheeks slightly, "I don't even do birthdays" he thought "only lucky people that have caring family celebrate birthdays" he said.

"Why did you say that? What do you mean Ha Joon", Alexandra asked, she looked at Ha Joon who wasn't looking at her. "I don't think I want to talk about it Alex, okay?" He said smiling to her.

"It's alright, no pressure" she replied smiling "you are so sweet Alex" he said, "I mean...babe" he smiled and leans closer, he held her face and kiss her on the lips, Alexandra's phone buzzed.

"It's Eun-Kyung" Alex said, "she said I should come see something funny" she added. "What can It be?" Ha Joon asked. "Let's check it out", she replied laughing.

They got in and could see Eun-Kyung laughing hard. "Alex, your best friend is a clown" She said laughing harder.

"what's wrong?". Alexandra who looked around asked.

"YES,YES, WHO WANT TO SEE ME GO ONE MORE ROUND?" Justina yelled out.

Alexandra saw her on the kitchen cabinet, she hurried up to Justina. "Justina get down from there, it's risky", Alexandra said looking up at Justina who was fully drunk.

Justin staggered, she smiled as she put down the bottle of Smirnoff Vodka with her. "LEXY!!!! THE BIRTHDAY GIRL!" Justina said laughing out.

"Oh my God, she is really drunk, I remember she is not so good at drinking" Alexandra said, "you don't drink too, do you?". Eun-Kyung asked as she rolled her eyes. "Maybe" Alexandra replied smiling, she looked at Ha Joon. "What am I going to do?" She said.

"JUSTINA!!!!"

Ki-Woo(Lee min's best friend), ran towards her and caught her, they both fell on the ground. "Oh God, Justina" Alexandra said grabbing her head.

Justina looked at Ki-Woo, she held his face and smiled "you are so cute". She said and leaned towards him and kiss Ki-Woo

Everyone gasped, Eun-Kyung looked at Lee-Min who laughed out. "Wow, I wasn't expecting that" Alexandra whispered to herself and could see Ha Joon smiling.

"Wait", Justina said looking at Ki-Woo "who are you? And why are you kissing me?" She yelled at Ki-Woo. She smiled "oh...I can...feel...". She puked on Ki-Woo's shoe, he yelled out and hurried up.

Ha Joon carried Justina who has fallen asleep into Kate's bedroom. He came out and could see Alexandra standing by the door. "I am sorry", she said.

"Why? She is my Alexandra's best friend, that isn't hard for me to do" he replied and poke her nose". Alexandra saw Eun-Kyung cleaning the kitchen. "Awe, Eun-Kyung" Alexandra walked towards her.

"I got it", Eun-Kyung said "we can't destroy Kate's house". She added smiling.

"Thank you", Alexandra replied, she sat down with Ha Joon, he grabbed a Fanta on the table "want one?", he asked Alexandra, "No, I am good, I don't really like Fanta". She added.

"Ah, I see" Ha Joon replied and gulped some Fanta "you are missing" he said. "Really? Are you really doing that right now?" Alexandra said as she grabbed the Fanta from him. "Give it back, you won't even drink it". He said smiling.

"No", she replied pulling out at her tongue at Ha Joon.

"Are they dating?" Lee Min asked Eun-Kyung who has been looking at Alexandra and Ha Joon. "I don't know yet, Alexandra didn't say that". She replied smiling. " I think he is in love with her, he told you to make her come to the back of the house, to surprise her with fireworks...look at him, the Ha Joon we all know is strict and will never be in this party, I thought he was a loner" Lee-Min said.

"Alexandra changed him", Eun-Kyung replied smiling "I am so happy for both of them, my two best friends are in love....I am so happy babe, Ha Joon has been lonely all these years. I knew there was still the Ha Joon I know down there, he looks so happy". Eun-Kyung said as tears filled her eyes.

"Come here" Lee-Min puller her closer and hugged her tight.

"Awe, Lee-Min really love Eun-Kyung, I am happy she is happy. She is really a good person" Alexandra said looking at Eun-Kyung and Lee-Min hugging each other.

"Yes, she is a good girl, she really is a fantastic person and she is still one of the reason I am where I am today, I am grateful for that", Ha Joon said.

"Where you are today? What do you mean?" Alexandra looked at Ha Joon confused. "I don't really want to pry, I am just a curious person". Alexandra added. There was a long silence between them

"I used to be so brilliant when I was young, I mean I am still brilliant" he smiled "but back then I was so brilliant than everyone in my middle school, I was too brilliant than my age. Everyone one hate the little me so much that they never want to see me around them, i get to eat in the rest room".

"No one want me as their friend, I was so little and I can remember I hate going to school because it was miserable, I even tried failing some of my test to see if they will like me a bit but there was no changes, they just hate me. Then there was Eun-Kyung and NaNa, they were new student and they are always together, they noticed I've always been going to the rest room to eat and they decided to invite me to their table. We all got so close and they have always been there for me, both of them were best of friends but they had a huge fight back then over a guy and I didn't even know anything about that.

Eun-Kyung mom got sick and she was out of school for a while, NaNa and I were always together...but" he sighed.

Alexandra took his hand. "But my mom passed away and things got worse, my dad left me the next day and didn't return", Ha Joon said and look at Alexandra "have been staying with my grandma ever since then...the bully increased and I got no one to report my problem too, I didn't want to stress granny and the school authority won't believe me, I had to go to one of the cheapest high school in Korea because grandma couldn't afford expensive one. I wanted to work to help her but she wouldn't let me do it. Eun-Kyung and NaNa came to the high school I was because of me".

Ha Joon looked away "I almost took my own life, but Eun-Kyung stopped me and advised me back then, I remember what she told me back then. WHEN THERE IS LIFE THERE IS HOPE" he said smiling to Eun-Kyung who waved at him.

"I am so sorry Ha Joon", Alexandra said as tears rolled down cheeks "No Alexandra, don't....it's all in the past, I am okay now and my granny is doing alright, I should go see her soon". He looked at Alexandra "I should take you with me". He added

Alexandra chuckled "I will like to see the sweet grandma that raise you to become a great person". Alexandra replied smiling.

"I like you Alexandra".

Alexandra eyes brightened, she couldn't breathe right, she gulped the Fanta with her.

"You said you don't like Fanta ". Ha Joon said, she could hear Ha Joon phone ringing, he picked it up.

"Hey granny".

Alexandra smiled "Awe, she is calling" she thought. Ha Joon stood up hurriedly

"WHAT? WHAT DO YOU SAY GRANNY? I WILL BE RIGHT THERE!!! ALRIGHT!?"
