78 Shame

Back at the Turner Family's house, Veronica was having a relaxing bath in her room. The lights were dim, mostly illuminated by the candlelights. She was soaking herself in a bath with rose petals floating on top of it as she listened to relaxing music in her speaker that was connected to her phone. She had a playlist saved in the Chatify app.

She was in a good mood, just remembering the events from earlier.

'Surely, Lucas will make a move on me now. He'll realize that I'm really serious about him and that we're meant to be together. They wouldn't deny it. After all, I'm their childhood friend. I'm sure they will cooperate with this piece of news.'

She thought as she hummed to the tune the music was playing until it got cut off.
