Revelation

When we got outside, we walked  a bit away from the house to talk.

She turned and was like, well what's the important message?.

Do you recognize me, I asked?.

No am I supposed to she replied, look if you don't have anything to say then I'm going back inside.

She tried to walk past me but I held her hand.

My name is Kevin, Kevin Gates. Do you remember, we went to the same middle school together.

Sorry but I don't recall anyone with that name, I don't recognize you, perhaps you have the wrong person, Tricia said.

But I remember you, you gave me a chocolate in 5th grade remember. In the chocolate you said that you loved me.

Shock was written all over her face, it was like she had descended into a nightmare. I could see that she was scared, of what I don't know.

I waited for her shock to pass by, perhaps her old love suddenly appearing right in front of her was too much to process.

She swallowed and said that yeah she remembered, but that gift was not meant for me.
