                      Prison school

The school or should I say my prison was strict. There was a lot of rules and laws.

The school consisted of only boys from the age of 10-18. Even the teachers were male, only the cook and caretaker was female but they were nuns "old nuns ".

It was hell living in here and it made my heart ache for home. The food was terrible and tasted like crap, our beds hard as wood and it tended to get cold at night.

We woke early and went to bed late. It was exhausting and made me realize that I missed home.

What wouldn't I give for my mom's homemade dinner and the comfort of my own bed.

To make matters worse, we were not given detention but rather we were put in isolation, denied meals or slept without covers in the cold of the night. And if your crime was deemed unforgivable you were beaten in the name of God.

With a whip we were scourged. Yes a prison this was and not a school.

My parents who put me here I scorn, for a problem child they declared me and into the abyss of pain I was cast.

This school was every child's Bogey  Dream, but my greatest nightmare came a year later
