When it Falls!

This is gonna be a sequel to my Doctor Who fan fiction with elements of RWBY, Madoka Magica, Symphogear, and SAO in there. It will have me, the Doctor, obviously, the companion, whoever it might be. It will also have characters from RWBY, Madoka Magica, Symphogear, and SAO in there, all of us interacting with each other. God knows what will happen in there, the hijinks, running, and traveling continues. I don't even know, but if I know one thing...it's gonna be awesome.

Utopia

Jack's office…

"Nagisa, just wait." Mami said, sipping on her cup of tea. "I know we're not in Mitakihara City. But Jared told us to be here."

"Whatever for?" Nagisa asked, kicking her legs back and forth on the table. "Do you think he needs us for something? Besides stopping Abaddon."

"I don't know." Mami said, looking over at Jack. "And neither does the immortal Time Agent."

Jack is wearing his greatcoat.

"What's happened to the Rift?" Gwen asked.

"It closed up when Abaddon was destroyed. But it's gonna be more volatile than ever." Jack said.

"The visions we had. We all saw people we loved. What did you see?"

"Nothing. There was nothing."

"Gwen, I think you should drop it." Mami said, placing her teacup on its plate. "It's not the time."

"Jack, what would have tempted you? What visions would have convinced you to open the Rift?" Gwen asked.

"The right kind of Doctor. And the right kind of fanboy. Not like the group LINDA." Jack said, leaving the room with Mami and Nagisa.

"But, Jack…"

Hub…

"Where are they with those coffees?" Jack asked, while the hand in the jar glows.

"The Doctor is back with Jared." Mami said, watching the wind blow through Torchwood.

"And the time rotor is going off." Nagisa said, heating the sound of a time rotor.

"Go on." Mami said, as Jack smiles. "Nagisa and I will take care of them and the Hub."

Tardis…

The Tardis lands in Roald Dahl Plass.

"Cardiff." The Doctor said.

"Cardiff?" Martha asked.

"The last time I checked, Cardiff is built on a rift in time and space." Homura said, sitting on the TARDIS jump seat.

"Think of it like the Walpurgisnacht." Jared said, eating some chocolate chip cookies. "I don't know for sure."

"The rift, um, it releases artron energy from where we've landed at. That being Roald Dahl Plass." Madoka said.

"They're right, all three of them. Every now and then I need to open up the engines, soak up the energy and use it as fuel." The Doctor said, flicking switches around the TARDIS console.

"So it's a pit stop." Martha said, happily.

"Exactly. Should only take twenty seconds. The rift's been active."

Hub...

"Jack? Jack?" Gwen asked, looking around to see Jack not there except Mami and Nagisa. "Where's Jack?"

"He went off somewhere." Nagisa said, as Tosh, Ianto and Owen enter with the takeaway coffees. "Somewhere wonderful. Somewhere beyond our wildest dreams."

"That's not even remotely helpful." Gwen said, and she now looked at her fellow Torchwood members. "Did you see Jack on your way in?"

"No." Tosh said.

"I thought we'd tidied up in here. What's the matter?" Owen asked.

"He was just here. Something's taken him. Jack's gone." Gwen said.

"It looks like I'll lead you guys for a while." Mami said, looking at the Torchwood members. "With Nagisa as my assistant."

TARDIS...

A man in a great coat is running across the plaza.

"Wait a minute. They had an earthquake in Cardiff a couple of years ago. Was that you and Jared?" Martha asked.

"Well, we had a bit of trouble with the Slitheen." Jared said, looking at the TARDIS scanner to see Jack Harkness on there. "It was a long time ago, Martha."

"How about meeting us?" Homura asked, noticing that Jack has a rucksack on his back.

"It felt like lifetimes. For the both of us. I was a different man back then." The Doctor said, rubbing the back of his head.

Roald Dahl Plass...

"Doctor! Jack said, happily. "Jared!"

Tardis…

"Finito. All powered up." The Doctor said, seeing Jack on the scanner.

"Finally. I don't have to deal with the Y…" Jared said, watching the Doctor set the time rotor moving. "I don't want to be an even more broken mess than I already am!"

"You mean like me." Homura said, as Jack leaps for the Tardis and something explodes on the console. "When I kept rewinding time to save the people I love."

"Whoa! What's that?" Martha asked.

"We're accelerating into the future. The year one billion." The Doctor said, looking at the TARDIS scanner.

"We've passed the year five billion. I would have been fine with New Earth." Jared said, sadly. "A nice picnic with Madoka, Sayaka, Kyoko, and Homura. I left Mami and Nagisa on Earth with some friends there."

"It's too late now. We've passed that. Five trillion. Fifty trillion? What? The year one hundred trillion? That's impossible."

"Why? What happens then?" Homura asked.

"We're going to the end of the universe." Madoka said, sadly.

Outside the Tardis…

Jack is hanging on for his life as the Tardis hurtles through the vortex, "Doctor! Jared!"

TARDIS arcade…

Kyoko is busy playing DDR as she usually does, with her signature Pocky in her mouth, and the TARDIS shook a bit, knocking the magical girl down to the DDR pad.

"What the hell happened?" Kyoko asked, lifting herself off the floor. "What caused that?"

"I think something happened outside." Sayaka said, approaching her fellow magical girl. "I don't know what. To be honest."

"So, what do you think it could be?"

"Maybe it could be Jared's doing."

"Him? Making the TARDIS shake? Puh...lease."

"You're right. He could do nothing like that. Besides playing pranks on us."

"Yeah."

"What did he drag us into this time?" Sayaka asked.

"Maybe he did something stupid." Kyoko said.

"Maybe."

"But what?"

Hub…

"So, what will you two do now?" Gwen asked.

"We're gonna lead you." Mami said, sipping on her cup of tea.

"And how are you gonna do that?" Owen asked.

"I am."

"So, you know you can lead us." Tosh said, looking at the blonde magical girl.

"She does!" Nagisa said, happily. "She makes a good leader."

"You make a good leader, huh." Owen said.

"I do." Mami said. "Let's get to work, shall we?"

"What will we be doing while Jack's away?" Gwen asked.

"We will be doing what we usually do. Or what you usually do."

"We see what comes out of the Rift."

(Jared's POV)

Tardis…

"Well, we've landed." I said, lifting Madoka off the floor.

"So what's out there?" Martha asked.

"I don't know." The Doctor said.

"Say that again. That's rare."

"Not even the Time Lords came this far."

"I think we should leave." I said, leaning against the TARDIS console.

"Somewhere unknown." Homura said. "We should go."

"You're right." Madoka said, smiling. "We should go and see what's out there. We should really go outside."

Madoka runs to the TARDIS doors with the Doctor.

"After you, Madoka Kaname." The Doctor said, excitedly.

Planet surface…

"We're in a quarry." I said, looking at my surroundings. "Just great."

Madoka spots someone lying on the ground near the Tardis, "Oh my God! I think he's unconscious."

"Who is he?" Homura asked, looking down at Jack. "Martha. Check him."

"Can't get a pulse. Hold on. You've got that medical kit thing." Martha said, checking Jack's hand before running into the TARDIS.

"Hello again. Oh, I'm sorry." The Doctor said.

Martha returns with the medical kit, "Here we go. Get out of the way."

She pushed Madoka and Homura out of the way.

"It's a bit odd, though. Not very hundred trillion. That coat's more like World War Two." Martha said.

"I think he came with us." I said, holding Madoka's hand.

"How do you mean, from Earth?"

"Yes, from Earth. He's no magical girl, huntsman/huntress, SAO survivor, or Symphogear wielder. I pick people up from Japan or Remnant. The Doctor, he picks people up around the United Kingdom."

"And he must have been clinging to the outside of the Tardis all the way through the vortex. Well, that's very him." The Doctor said, agreeing with me.

"Or like that's very Homura. Or if this was still the original timeline, I would say it's very Madoka."

"What, do you two know him?" Martha asked, looking between the Doctor and I.

"Friend of ours. Used to travel with us, back in the old days." The Doctor said.

"But he's...I'm sorry, there's no heartbeat. There's nothing. He's dead." Martha said, and Jack gasps and grabs her, who screams. "Oh, so much for me. It's all right. Just breathe deep. I've got you."

"Captain Jack Harkness. And who are you?" Jack asked.

"Martha Jones."

"Nice to meet you, Martha Jones."

"So, um, who is he?" Madoka asked.

"He's Captain Jack Harkness." I said, taking out a box of Pocky to eat them. "The leader of a team."

"Is this the same team you left Mami and Nagisa to?" Sayaka asked, peeping her head outside of the TARDIS.

"Yes." I said, looking back at Madoka and Homura. "You two wait in there."

"And do what?" Homura asked.

"I don't know. There's a VR room in there."

"You want us to take down bosses in SAO." Madoka said. "Why do you want us to do that?"

"Because I want you and Homura safe."

"You're, um, trying to protect us."

"Yup."

"You're kidding." Jack said, at a loss for words.

"Parallel world, safe and sound. And Mickey, and her mother." The Doctor said.

"Oh, yes!" Jack said, hugging the Doctor and me.

"Like I said, nothing to worry about." I said, letting go of Jack. "Come on, Kyoko and Sayaka. Let's get moving!"

"Good old Rose." Martha said, sadly.

"I thought you said you would be more sad today." Sayaka said, studying me closely.

"Did I?" I asked.

"You definitely were supposed to be more depressed."

Padra is still being chased as Jack, Martha, Sayaka, Kyoko, the Doctor, and I walk through some scrubland.

"How did you get separated from the Doctor and Jared?" Kyoko asked. "Was it just pure luck?"

"I really don't think it was pure luck." Sayaka said, taking out a box of Pocky from her pocket to give to Kyoko. "I think it might have been something else."

"It was." I said, opening the box of Pocky in front of Kyoko.

"So there I was, stranded in the year two hundred one hundred, ankle deep in Dalek dust, and the Doctor goes off without me. But I had this." Jack said, looking down at his vortex manipulator. "I used to be a Time Agent. It's called a vortex manipulator. They're not the only ones who can time travel."

"Oh, excuse me. That is not time travel. It's like, I've got a sports car and you've got a space hopper." The Doctor said, angrily.

"Oh ho. Boys and their toys." Martha said, happily.

"Tell me about it. I got dumped by one of my friends. As he goes off with one of my childhood friends." Sayaka said, looking back at Martha. "But all in all, it was in one of the many timelines Homura reset."

"Hitomi and Kyousuke." Kyoko said, a Pocky in her mouth. "Of course you've gotten over that."

"At least they're happy. That's all that matters."

"All right, so I bounced. I thought 21st century, the best place to find the Doctor and Jared, except that I got it a little wrong. Arrived in 1869, this thing burnt out, so it was useless." Jack said, pointing to his vortex manipulator.

"Told you." The Doctor said.

"I had to live through the entire twentieth century waiting for versions of you two that would coincide with me."

"But that makes you more than one hundred years old." Martha said, her eyes widening.

"And looking good, don't you think? So I went to the time rift, based myself there because I knew you'd come back to refuel." Jack said, looking back at the Doctor.

"Talk about stalker much." Sayaka said, holding my hand.

"I saw glimpses of Jared favoring three Japanese cities called Tokyo, Numazu, and Mitakihara. Seeing him with a bunch of girls online." Jack said, looking at Sayaka and Kyoko. "I knew he didn't stop traveling with you, when I see pictures of girls like those two saving the day in secret."

"Great, it looks like he knows about magical girls." Kyoko said, annoyed.

"Don't think I didn't see sightings of magical girls around Japanese cities. Then again I do believe in the improbable. Until finally I get a signal on this detecting the Doctor and here we are." Jack said, pointing a finger at his backpack.

"But the thing is, how come you left him behind, Doctor?" Martha asked.

"I was busy." The Doctor said.

"Me too. I had to worry about keeping multiple continuities in check." I said, giving Sayaka a little twirl.

"Is that what happens, though, seriously? Do you two just get bored with us one day and disappear?" Martha asked.

"Not if you're blonde." Jack said.

"Oh, she was blonde? Oh, what a surprise!" Martha said, angrily.

"I saw Jared around her a lot more back then. Hell, even in the same time period too. He was around Rose as much as Ruby."

"Okay, you two need to shut up!" Kyoko said, walking towards Jack and Martha. "We're at the end of the universe! At the very end of everything we know and love. You can catch up later."

"She's right, you know." Sayaka said, frowning. "Come on. We don't know what's out there."

"Yeah." I said, leading Sayaka and Kyoko towards a structure. "Have a look."

We look down over a cliff onto a high tech construction of some kind.

"Is that a city?" Martha asked.

"A city or a hive, or a nest, or a conglomeration. Like it was grown. But look, there. That's like pathways, roads? Must have been some sort of life, long ago." The Doctor said.

"What killed it?" Martha asked.

"Time. Just time. Everything's dying now. All the great civilizations have gone. This isn't just night. All the stars have burned up and faded away into nothing." The Doctor said, sadly.

"They must have an atmospheric shell. We should be frozen to death." Jack said.

"Well, Martha, Jared and I, maybe. I know that Sayaka and Kyoko can survive this. Not so sure about you, Jack."

"Now I see why you wanted to avoid a place like this." Kyoko said, admiring the scenery. "It's a bit sad. Not too sad."

"What will we do now?" Sayaka asked. "If we're the only ones left."

"We're not." I said, watching the running man is dashing through the city, pursued by the tribe. "Oh boy."

"Human!" The chieftain said, angrily.

"Is it me, or does that look like a hunt? Come on!" The Doctor said, as he, Jack, Martha, Sayaka, Kyoko, and I run to help.

"Oh, I've missed this." Jack said, and we meet up with the running man. "I've got you."

I tapped on my watch for the nanotechnology armor to wrap around my body.

"They're coming! They're coming!" Padra said, and I aimed a repulsor at the tribes people.

"Jared, don't you dare!" The Doctor said, looking at me.

"It's okay." I said, firing an energy blast into the air, and the noise stops the tribe in its tracks. "Nothing like a little Stark tech to save the day."

"What the hell are they?" Kyoko asked.

"There's more of them. We've got to keep going." Padra said.

"I've got a ship nearby. It's safe. It's not far, it's over there." The Doctor said, when more tribesmen appear on the cliff. "Or maybe not."

"We're close to the silo. If we get to the silo, then we're safe."

"Silo?"

"Silo." Jack said.

"Silo for me." Martha said.

"What do you think?" I asked, looking between Sayaka and Kyoko.

"I don't know." Sayaka said, squeezing my hand. "Should we go to the silo?"

"Let's hope it's better than here." Kyoko said, munching on a Pocky. "Because this has too much freaks."

(Open POV)

Silo gates...

Padra shouts whilst running, "It's the Futurekind! Open the gate!"

"Show me your teeth! Show me your teeth! Show me your teeth!" A guard said, angrily.

"Show him your teeth." Padra said.

Everyone grimaces, displaying their chisel incisors.

"Human! Let them in! Let them in!" The guard said, while the metal gates are opened and the trio run through. "Close! Close! Close!"

A guard fires his machine gun at the ground in front of the tribe as they get too close.

"Talk about a bit too close." Sayaka said, as Jared nodded his head. "We could have been dinner."

"Humans. Humani. Make feast." The chieftain said.

"Go back to where you came from. I said, go back. Back!" The guard said.

"Oh, don't tell him to put his gun down." Jack said.

"He's not my responsibility." The Doctor said.

"And Jared is? Let me guess, I'm on that list too. Huh, that makes a change."

"Kind watch you. Kind hungry." The chieftain said.

"You know, you bringing around Stark tech like that is stupid." Kyoko said, looking at Jared wearing the nanotechnology super suit. "There's oxygen and everything here."

The chieftain and the tribe of future humans snarl and leave.

"As long as it makes me look cool." Jared said, smirking. "And I do love showing off."

"Of course you do. You pulled me away from beating my high score too."

"At what? Dance Dance Revolution? All you're doing is dancing to the main theme of Madoka's show."

Silo…

"How could it be Madoka's show? When it involves the five of us." Kyoko said, finishing another Pocky in the process. "Oh, I have to admit that title is a bit catchy."

"Told you." Jared said, snacking on some onigiri. "So, what will we be doing later?"

"I don't know." Sayaka said, sadly. "You brought us along."

"There's still time. For time to be rewritten. We don't have to involve ourselves with the Year that Never Was."

"It looks like a box, a big blue box. I'm sorry, but I really need it back. It's stuck out there." The Doctor said.

"I'm sorry, but my family were heading for the silo. Did they get here? My mother is Kistane Shafe Cane. My brother's name is Beltone." Padra said.

"The computers are down but you can check the paperwork. Creet! Passenger needs help." Atillo said, while a young boy appears with a clipboard.

Padra goes to him.

"Right. What do you need?" Creet asked.

"A blue box, you said." Atillo said.

"Big, tall, wooden. Says Police." The Doctor said.

"We're driving out for the last water collection. I'll see what I can do."

"Thank you."

"Come on." Creet said, looking at them.

"Sorry, but how old are you?" Martha asked.

"Old enough to work. This way." Creet said, and they follow him.

Corridors…

"This, this is kinda sad." Sayaka said, looking at the people who have put pictures of their loved ones on the wall as they sleep on the floor. "This is like the homeless."

"Kistane Shafe Cane. Kistane Shafe Cane. Kistane and Biltone Shafe Cane? We're looking for a Kistane and Beltone Shafe Cane." Creet said, leading the way for the others.

"It looks like none of these people are hopeful." Kyoko said, as Jared is snacking on some jelly babies.

"They really aren't." Jared said, holding Sayaka's hand. "Just make sure you two hold onto your Soul Gems closely."

"Right, the one hundred meters thing." Sayaka said, smiling. "Don't worry."

"I should be worrying. We aren't in the early 21st century right now."

"Don't you see that? The ripe old smell of humans. You survived. Oh, you might have spent a million years evolving into clouds of gas, some of the million becoming magical girls, and another million as downloads, but you always revert to the same basic shape. The fundamental humans." The Doctor said, happily.

"Kistane Shafe Cane." Creet said.

"End of the universe and here you are. Indomitable! That's the word. Indomitable! Ha!"

"Is there a Kistane Shafe Cane?" Creet asked, and a woman stands up.

"That's me." Kistane said.

"Mother?" Padra asked.

"Oh, my God. Padra."

"Beltone?"

"It's not all bad news." Martha said, while a young man stands up.

Jack shakes his hand, "Captain Jack Harkness. And who are you?"

"Not now with the flirting." Jared said, looking back at Jack with his nanotechnology armor. "Yui, it's time to shine."

"Right." Yui said, her voice coming out of the super suit. "What's up?"

"Give us a hand with this. It's half deadlocked. I need you to overwrite the code." The Doctor said. "Let's find out where we are."

"Okay." Yui said. "The code is a bit simple to crack. Got it."

Together, the Doctor and Jared open the door which turns out to be part way up a giant rocket silo.

"Now that's a big rocket." Sayaka said, nearly falling in with the Doctor in front of her. "Doctor!"

"Sayaka!" Kyoko said, grabbing Sayaka's hand and Jack grabbed the Doctor's.

"Gotcha." Jack said, pulling the Doctor up.

"Thanks." The Doctor said, as Kyoko and Jared pulled Sayaka up.

"How did you cope without me?"

"Now that is what I call a rocket." Martha said.

"They're not refugees, they're passengers." The Doctor said.

"He said they were going to Utopia."

"The perfect place. Hundred trillion years, it's the same old dream. You recognise those engines?" The Doctor asked, looking at Jack.

"Nope. Whatever it is, it's not rocket science. But it's hot, though." Jack said, shutting the door with the Doctor.

"Boiling. But if the universe is falling apart, what does Utopia mean?"

"Maybe it could mean a be…" Sayaka said, when Yana arrives.

"The Doctor?" Yana asked.

"That's me." The Doctor said.

"Good! Good! Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good."

"It's good apparently."

Yana drags the Doctor away. A woman with pointed teeth watches.

Yana's laboratory...

Yana takes the Doctor to various pieces of equipment straight away.

"Chan welcome tho." Chantho said.

"Now, this is the gravitissimal accelerator. It's past its best but it works." Yana said.

"What's Madoka and Homura doing in the TARDIS?" Sayaka asked.

"I'm keeping them safe and sound. From those future humans." Jared said, smiling. "That's all."

"So, keeping them inside the best ship in the universe was your plan." Kyoko said, smirking.

"Yup. I love them as much as you guys."

"Do you know what's ahead?"

"Kinda. Not really. Since time can change when I'm here."

"Stop it." The Doctor said, annoyed.

"Can't I say hello to anyone?" Jack asked. "Jared was with my flirting, I think. And now he's against it?"

"Chan I do not protest tho." Chantho said.

"Maybe later, Blue. So, what have we got here?"

"And all this feeds into the rocket?" The Doctor asked.

"Yeah, except without a stable footprint, you see, we're unable to achieve escape velocity. If only we could harmonise the five impact patterns and unify them, well, we might yet make it. What do you think, Doctor? Any ideas?" Yana asked.

"Well, er, basically, sort of, not a clue."

"Nothing?"

"I'm not from around these parts. I've never seen a system like it. Sorry."

"No, no. I'm sorry. It's my fault. There's been so little help."

Over in the corner with chairs, a table and a drinks machine, Martha pulls a transparent container from Jack's backpack. It contains a hand.

"Oh, my God. You've got a hand? A hand in a jar. A hand in a jar in your bag." Martha said, shocked.

"But that, that, that's my hand." The Doctor said.

"I said I had a Doctor detector." Jack said, smirking.

"I guess you could say, you had this well…" Jared said, trying to come up with a pun. "Ah, forget it."

"Chan is this a tradition amongst your people tho?" Chantho asked.

"Not on my street. What do you mean, that's your hand? You've got both your hands, I can see them." Martha said.

"Long story. I lost my hand Christmas Day, in a swordfight." The Doctor said.

"You know, Christmas Day 2006." Jared said, smiling. "All of those people on the roofs of buildings around the Earth. The Doctor saved the day in a sword fight. The leader of the alien race, the Sycorax, chopped the Doctor's hand off."

"I then found the Doctor's hand while walking around London one day." Jack said, happily. "When it fell off of the Sycorax spaceship."

"What? And you grew another hand?" Martha asked.

"Er, yeah, yeah, I did. Yeah. Hello." The Doctor said, waving his hand.

"Might I ask, what species are you?" Yana asked.

"Time Lord, last of. Heard of them? Legend or anything? Not even a myth? Blimey, end of the universe is a bit humbling."

"Chan it is said that I am the last of my species too tho." Chantho said.

"Sorry, what was your name?"

"My assistant and good friend, Chantho. A survivor of the Malmooth. This was their planet, Malcassairo, before we took refuge." Yana said.

"The city outside, that was yours?"

"Chan the conglomeration died tho." Chantho said.

"Conglomeration. That's what I said." The Doctor said.

"Don't be rude. She lost her entire species. You're supposed to say sorry." Sayaka said, looking at the Doctor.

"Oh, yes. Sorry."

"Chan most grateful tho." Chantho said.

"You grew another hand?" Martha asked.

"Hello, again. It's fine. Look, really, it's me." The Doctor said, shaking Martha's hand.

"All this time and you're still full of surprises."

"Chan you are most unusual tho." Chantho said.

"Well…" The Doctor said.

"So, what are those things?" Kyoko asked, a Pocky in her mouth. "Those things outside. What are they?"

"We call them the Futurekind, which is a myth in itself, but it's feared they are what we will become, unless we reach Utopia." Yana said.

"And Utopia is?" The Doctor asked.

"Oh, every human knows of Utopia. Where have you been?"

"Bit of a hermit."

"A hermit with friends?"

"Hermits United. We meet up every ten years and swap stories about caves. It's good fun, for a hermit. So, er, Utopia?"

Yana shows them a display on the gravitational field navigation system, "The call came from across the stars, over and over again. Come to Utopia. Originating from that point."

"So, where is it?" Jared asked, eating more jelly babies. "Where's it coming from? The message?"

"Oh, it's far beyond the Condensate Wilderness, out towards the Wildlands and the Dark Matter reefs, calling us in. The last of the humans scattered across the night." Yana said.

"What do you think's out there?" The Doctor asked.

"We can't know. A colony, a city, some sort of haven? The Science Foundation created the Utopia Project thousands of years ago to preserve mankind, to find a way of surviving beyond the collapse of reality itself. Now perhaps they found it. Perhaps not. But it's worth a look, don't you think?"

"Oh, yes."

"Do you think they're safe?" Kyoko asked, looking at Jared.

"I said it time and time again. They're safe. Madoka and Homura are safe!" Jared said, annoyed. "How about you stop worrying?"

"Don't forget, you brought us with you." Sayaka said, frowning. "I mean, we decided to come."

"I know. So what do you think?"

"Of the end of the universe? It's cool. I guess."

"And the signal keeps modulating, so it's not automatic. That's a good sign someone's out there. And that's, oh, that's a navigation matrix. So you can fly without stars to guide you. Professor? Professor? Professor." The Doctor said, looking at Yana.

"I, er, ahem, right, that's enough talk. There's work to do. Now if you could leave, thank you." Yana said.

"You all right?"

"Yes, I'm fine. And busy."

"Except that rocket's not going to fly, is it? This footprint mechanism thing, it's not working."

"We'll find a way."

"You're stuck on this planet. And you haven't told them, have you? That lot out there, they still think they're going to fly."

"Well, it's better to let them live in hope."

"Quite right, too. And I must say, Professor er, what was it?" The Doctor asked.

"Yana." Yana said.

"Professor Yana. This new science is well beyond me, but all the same, a boost reversal circuit, in any time frame, must be a circuit which reverses the boost. So, I wonder, what would happen if I did this?" The Doctor asked, sonicing the end of a cable and pulls.

"Wow." Sayaka said, when power surges through the machines. "Talk about impressive."

"Chan it's working tho!" Chantho said, happily.

"But how did you do that?" Yana asked.

"Oh, we've been chatting away, I forgot to tell you. I'm brilliant." The Doctor said.

Corridor…

"All passengers prepare for boarding. I repeat, all passengers prepare for immediate boarding." Atillo said, over the speaker.

Yana's laboratory…

"Destination, Utopia." Atillo said, while everyone is busy.

Silo gates...

A supply truck drives in through the gates, watched by the tribe.

"All troops report to silo. I repeat, all troops report to silo." Atillo said, over the speaker.

"Inside! Everyone, inside! Come on, move, move, move." A guard said.

Rocket silo…

The happy people file across numerous catwalks and into the rocket.

"All passengers prepare for immediate boarding. All passengers prepare for immediate boarding." Atillo said, over the speaker.

Corridor…

"Hey, wait up!" Kyoko said, running towards Creet with Martha and Chantho. "Wasn't your name Creet?"

"That's right, miss." Creet said.

"Who are you going to utopia with? Do you have any family to go with you?"

"No, miss. There's just me."

"Well, good luck. What do you think it's going to be like in Utopia?" Martha asked.

"My mum used to say the skies are made of diamonds." Creet said, smiling.

"Good for her. Go on, off you go. Get your seat."

The tribe woman watches Martha, Chantho, and Kyoko leave.

Yana's laboratory…

The Doctor sniffs one of the wires, "Is this?"

"Yes, gluten extract. Binds the neutralino map together." Yana said.

"That's food. You've built this system out of food and string and staples? Professor Yana, you're a genius."

"Says the man who made it work."

A virtual reality room of Mami's apartment…

"So, Madoka." Homura said, looking at one of her best friends. "Do you think Jared knows?"

"Knows about what?" Madoka asked.

"About what will happen in a couple of hours."

"Do you mean about the Year that Never Was?"

"Yes. I do."

"I think he does. He, um, knows that we have to be in here."

"Inside the TARDIS."

Yana's laboratory...

"Professor, tell the Doctor we've found his blue box." Atillo said, over the speaker.

"Ah!" The Doctor said.

"Doctor?" Jack asked, and the Tardis is on the monitor.

"Professor, it's a wild stab in the dark, but I may just have found you a way out."

A virtual reality room of Mami's apartment…

"Madoka!" Jared said, entering the room. "Homura!"

"Hi." Madoka said, drinking a cup of tea. "A whole virtual Mitakihara City."

"Yeah. Sexy built it from the ground up."

"Did you know that every time we stop a witch here...we earn points."

"It's based off of the Ordinal system."

"What's Ordinal?" Madoka asked.

"I'll tell you later. There's something about the Year that Never Was that I have to tell you about." Jared said.

"You're thinking of making Sayaka and Kyoko go out there with Martha." Homura said.

"I am."

"Make Mami go out there instead of Sayaka."

"Is this because of the faith thing?"

"Yes."

Yana's laboratory…

The Doctor is dragging a power cable out of the TARDIS, "Extra power. Little bit of a cheat, but who's counting? Jack, you're in charge of the retro feeds."

Martha, Chantho, and Kyoko enter.

"Oh, am I glad to see that thing." Martha said, happily.

"Chan Professor, are you all right tho?" Chantho asked.

"Yes, I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm fine. Just get on with it." Yana said.

"So, what did I miss?" Kyoko asked, as Jared exited the TARDIS.

"Nothing much." Jared said, tossing Kyoko an apple. "When things get really bad. Go with Martha and Mami."

"Go where?"

"You'll see."

"Like how is that even helpful?"

"It just is."

"Man. You're as cryptic as Homura at times."

"Oh, I've had it all my life. Every waking hour. Still, no rest for the wicked." Yana said.

Martha and Chantho put circuit boards into a rack. Jared laid his nanotechnology armor onto the ground and turned it into a DDR machine.

"Is there anything your nanotechnology can't do?" Kyoko asked.

"Besides being useful and keeping me alive." Jared said, jumping onto the pad and choosing a song. "How does a song from…"

"Nah, you'll let me choose." Kyoko said, selecting Connect. "You see."

"Why bother choosing one song from a multitude of other songs?" Sayaka asked. "When one is perfect for Kyoko in her eyes. It's our theme song, right?"

"Yeah." Jared said, smiling.

"So, what are we gonna do about him? The Master?"

"I don't know. With you girls being around for 18 months now. As well as the Symphogear wielders, anything can happen."

"You don't know the lengths he'll take this time around, huh."

"Nope. And I don't like not knowing."

"Just start it already." Kyoko said, as the song started playing. "Beat me, and I'll have Weiss Schnee treat you to lunch."

"But Weiss, she's home." Jared said, sadly.

Jared and Kyoko are doing their best to keep up with the DDR remix of Connect.

"I know that. Why can't you see an earlier version of her?"

"Because I don't want to."

"Or the better word you're looking for is can't."

"Guys. Is fighting really necessary?" Sayaka asked. "Come on. We can have fun for hours here."

"Here as in this room?" Kyoko asked.

"Yeah. How about the three of us get some ice cream?"

"I call mint chocolate chip!" Jared said, excitedly.

"Ooo, I want to go with blueberry." Sayaka said, smiling.

"I'm doing strawberry." Kyoko said, hearing Chantho laugh. "What were they talking about?"

Control room…

Atillo goes to a monitor, "Professor."

The screen remains blank, so he types in Yana.

"Systems are down. Professor, are you getting me?" Atillo asked.

Yana appears on the monitor, "I'm here! We're ready!"

Yana's laboratory...

"Now all you need to do is connect the couplings, then we can launch." Yana said, while Atillo's face disappears from the screen. "God sake! This equipment. Needs rebooting all the time."

"Anything I can do? I've finished that lot." Martha said.

"Yes, if you could. Just press the reboot key every time the picture goes."

"Certainly, sir. Just don't ask me to do shorthand." Martha said.

"Right."

Atillo's face returns, "Are you still there?"

"Ah, present and correct. Send your man inside." Yana said.

Control room...

"We'll keep the levels down from here." Yana said, on monitor.

Atillo opens a heavy door for a man in protective gear to go inside.

Yana's laboratory…

"He's inside. And good luck to him." Atillo said, on monitor.

"Captain, keep the dials below the red." Yana said.

"So, what's the plan for a year?" Kyoko asked, still doing DDR with Jared.

"You, Mami, and Martha will spread hope about the Doctor." Jared said, drinking some mango juice. "That's the plan."

"That's your plan? Us walking around the Earth like that."

"Yup. I don't have anything better than that right now."

They watch the monitor showing the man connecting up equipment. An alarm sounds.

"It's rising. Naught point two. Keep it level!" Yana said.

"Yes, sir." Jack said.

The second connection is made. The tribal woman opens a wall box marked electricity hazard and sabotages it.

"Chan we're losing power tho!" Chantho said, terrified.

The woman uses a piece of equipment to smash other control panels.

"Oh no, the radiation is rising." Sayaka said, her eyes widening.

"We've lost control!" Jack said.

"The chamber's going to flood." Yana said.

"Jack, override the vents!" The Doctor said.

Radiation chamber…

"Get out! Get out of there! Jate!" Atillo said, behind the door.

Yana's laboratory...

"Crap. I don't know what to do next." Jared said, frowning. "I wish time wasn't so linear."

Jack pulls out two power cables, "We can jump start the override."

"Don't! It's going to flare!" The Doctor said.

Power surges through Jack as he holds the live ends together. He is electrocuted.

Radiation chamber...

"Jate, get out of there! Get out!" Atillo said, behind the door.

Jate's organic molecules disintegrate, and the suit falls to the floor.

"No!" Atillo said, annoyed.

Yana's laboratory…

"I've got him." Martha said.

"Chan don't touch the cables tho." Chantho said.

"So, Jack's immortal." Sayaka said, looking down at Jack.

"Yeah. And you can quickly heal yourself. Due to the wish you made." Jared said, watching Martha gives Jack mouth to mouth resuscitation.

"What was my wish?" Kyoko asked. "You must know that."

"It's been years, Kyoko. How can I possibly remember yours?"

"Maybe they told you in an episode of Madoka's show."

"Come on, come on, just listen to me. Now leave him alone. It strikes me, Professor, you've got a room which no man can enter without dying. Is that correct?" The Doctor asked.

"Yes." Yana said.

"Well…" The Doctor said, as Jack gasps as he returns to life. "I think I've got just the man."

"Was someone kissing me?" Jack asked.

Control room…

The Doctor, Jack, Jared, and Sayaka run in.

"Lieutenant, get on board the rocket! I promise you're going to fly." The Doctor said.

"The chamber's flooded." Atillo said.

"Trust me. We've found a way of tripping the system. Run!" The Doctor said, and Atillo leaves. Jack takes off his shirt. "What are you taking your clothes off for?"

"I'm going in." Jack said.

"Well, by the looks of it, I'd say the stet radiation doesn't affect clothing, only flesh."

"Well, Jack does look good shirtless." Sayaka said, looking away in embarrassment.

"Sayaka's right. I do look good. Doctor, how long have you known?" Jack asked.

"Ever since I ran away from you. And when Jared started hanging out more with Team RWBY and the SAO survivors. Good luck." The Doctor said.

Jack goes inside the radiation chamber and continues connecting things up.

Yana's laboratory...

Martha reboots the monitor by typing Atillo into a hiragona keyboard, "We lost picture when that thing flared up. Doctor, Jared, are you there?"

"Receiving, yeah. He's inside." The Doctor said, over the speaker.

"And still alive?" Martha asked.

"Oh, yes."

"But he should evaporate. What sort of a man is he?" Yana asked.

"He's an impossible man." Kyoko said, a Pocky in her mouth. "I'll give him that."

"And I've only just met him. The Doctor and Jared sort of travels through time and space and picks people up. God, I make us sound like stray dogs. Maybe we are." Martha said.

"They travel in time?" Yana asked.

"I do too sometimes, with the Holy Quintet. We go around time and space saving magical girls. Before they become witches, of course." Kyoko said, finishing off another Pocky from its box. "One day, us magical girls will be taken by the Law of Cycles too. As Mami says."

"And don't ask us to explain it. That's a Tardis, that box thing. The sports car of time travel, the Doctor says." Martha said, adding onto what Kyoko said.

"Traveling by TARDIS, much better than rewinding time. Thats for sure."

(Jared's POV)

Radiation chamber…

"So, when did you first realise? That you were immortal." I said, behind the door.

"Earth, 1892. Got in a fight in Ellis Island. A man shot me through the heart. Then I woke up. Thought it was kind of strange. But then it never stopped. Fell off a cliff, trampled by horses, World War One, World War Two, poison, starvation, a stray javelin. In the end, I got the message. I'm the man who can never die. And all that time the both of you knew." Jack said.

"That's why we left you behind. It's not easy even just looking at you, Jack, because you're wrong." The Doctor said, behind the door.

"Thanks."

"You are. I can't help it. I'm a Time Lord. It's instinct. It's in my guts."

"Jack, you're a fixed point in time and space." Sayaka said, behind the door. "You're supposed to be dead. Like me, I was supposed to become a witch in all timelines. Except a select few."

"Like Sayaka said, you and her are facts. That's never meant to happen. Even the Tardis reacted against you Jack, tried to shake you off. Flew all the way to the end of the universe just to get rid of you." The Doctor said, behind the door.

"So what you're saying, Doctor, is that you're, er, prejudiced?" Jack asked.

"I never thought of it like that."

"Shame on you."

"Yeah."

"Last thing I remember, back when I was mortal, I was facing three Daleks. Death by extermination. And then I came back to life. What happened?"

"It was Rose." Sayaka said, behind the door.

"Sayaka, I thought the Doctor sent Rose and Jared back home." Jack said, looking at the blue haired magical girl.

"He did. But Rose came back. With the Law of Cycles of course."

"Rose opened the heart of the Tardis and absorbed the time vortex itself. And Madoka Kaname gave Rose a bit of her power too." The Doctor said, behind the door.

"What does that mean, exactly?" Jack asked.

"No one's ever mean to have that power. The power of the time vortex. If a Time Lord did that, he'd become a god. A vengeful god. But she was human."

(Open POV)

Floor 500...

"Doctor, you've got twenty seconds maximum!" Jack said.

TARDIS console room...

The Tardis hurtles through time, all the time sending energy into Rose. The Law of Cycles then appeared inside the TARDIS.

"Who are you?" Rose asked, still absorbing the time vortex while looking at Madoka.

"I'm Madoka Kaname. I'm here to help." Madoka said, smiling. "I have the power to keep you safe. As long as you need me."

"Can you help me save the Doctor?"

"I can. With the TARDIS' help of course. She is connected to the time vortex after all." Madoka said, placing a hand on Rose's shoulder. "That's it. We can save your Doctor."

Floor 500...

Jack runs out of bullets. He throws away the machine gun and takes out a pistol. Then that too is empty.

"Exterminate." A Dalek said.

"I kind of figured that." Jack said, as the blast throws him back into the lift.

"It's ready!" The Doctor said, and the Daleks enter from all sides. "You really want to think about this, because if I activate the signal, every living creature dies."

"I am immortal." The Dalek Emperor said, on the view screen.

"Do you want to put that to the test?"

"I want to see you become like me. Hail the Doctor, the Great Exterminator."

"I'll do it!"

"Then prove yourself, Doctor. What are you, coward or killer?"

But the Doctor cannot throw the final switch, "Coward. Any day."

"Mankind will be harvested because of your weakness."

"And what about me? Am I becoming one of your angels?" The Doctor asked.

"You are the heathen. You will be exterminated." The Dalek Emperor said, on the view screen.

"Maybe it's time." The Doctor said, closing his eyes, and the Tardis materialises behind him.

"Alert! Tardis materialising!" A Dalek said.

"You will not escape!" The Dalek Emperor said, on the view screen.

The Tardis doors open. Rose is silhouetted in a blinding golden light. And another blinding light is behind Rose, that coming from the Law of Cycles. Energy tendrils snake outwards.

"What've you done?" The Doctor asked, looking at Rose.

"I looked into the Tardis, and the Tardis looked into me." Rose said.

"You looked into the Time Vortex. Rose, no one's meant to see that."

"This is the Abomination! And that is the end of the Incubators' doing!" The Dalek Emperor said, on the view screen.

"Exterminate!" A Dalek said.

Rose stops the beam with her hand, "I am the Bad Wolf. I create myself. I take the words, I scatter them in time and space. A message to lead myself here."

"And I will make sure Rose will notice the Bad Wolf." Madoka said, standing next to Rose. "No matter what timeline she is in. Good or bad."

"Rose, you've got to stop this. You've got to stop this now. You've got the entire vortex running through your head and what makes Madoka Kaname the Law of Cycles. You're going to burn." The Doctor said, worried about his companion.

"I want you safe. My Doctor. Protected from the false god." Rose said.

"You cannot hurt me. I am immortal." The Dalek Emperor said, on the view screen.

"You are tiny. I can see the whole of time and space. Every single atom of your existence, and I divide them." Rose said, while a Dalek disintegrates gently.

"And you've killed magical girls, beacons of hope for all. While I am the beacon of hope for them." Madoka said, as Rose disintegrates another Dalek. "To make sure none of them experiences despair."

"Everything must come to dust. All things. Everything dies. The Time War ends." Rose said, as she is making the Daleks crumble.

Spaceship…

"I will not die. I cannot die!" The Dalek Emperor said, and the spaceship disappears in a golden wave.

Floor 500…

"Rose, you've done it with Madoka Kaname. Now stop. Just let go." The Doctor said, looking at Rose.

"How can I let go of this? I bring life." Rose said, and Jack breaths again.

Jared comes back to life in another part of time and space, in a whole other time period.

"But this is wrong! You can't control life and death." The Doctor said.

"But I can. The sun and the moon, the day and night. But why do they hurt?" Rose asked.

"The power's going to kill you and it's my fault."

"No, it will be my fault." Madoka said, sadly. "If Rose Tyler dies here and now."

"I can see everything. All that is, all that was, all that ever could be." Rose said, happily.

"That's what the Law of Cycles and I see. All the time. And doesn't it drive you mad?" The Doctor asked.

"My head."

"Come here."

"It's killing me…"

"I think you need a Doctor." The Doctor said, kissing Rose.

The golden energy transfers from her eyes to his, then she faints in his arms. The Doctor exhales the energy back into the Tardis and its doors close.

Madoka Kaname, disappears like a ghost, knowing that her mission at this point in time and space is complete.

Jack picks up a handful of Dalek dust from the floor, then runs when he hears the Tardis engines. He's too late. It dematerialises, leaving him stranded.

(Jared's POV)

Radiation chamber...

"Everything she did was so human. She brought you back to life but she couldn't control it. She brought you back forever. That's something, I suppose. The final act of the Time War was life." The Doctor said, behind the door.

"Life to stay alive forever." I said, behind the door. "I know for sure I wouldn't want a life like that. But I would like to experience it someday."

"Believe me, you wouldn't want a life like mine. Do you think Rose could change me back?" Jack asked.

"I took the power out of her. The Doctor said, behind the door. "She's gone, Jack. She's not just living on a parallel world, she's trapped there. The walls have closed."

"And I couldn't save her." I said, sadly. "Like how I couldn't save Penny and Pyrrha."

"I'm sorry." Jack said, frowning.

"Yeah." The Doctor said, behind the door.

"I went back to her estate, in the nineties, just once or twice. Watched her growing up. Never said hello. Timelines and all that."

"Do you want to die?"

"Oh, this one's a little stuck."

"Jack?" Sayaka asked, behind the door. "Do you want to die? I lost my hope and faith once. In a million other timelines. It all involved love. Or what I thought was love."

"I thought I did. I don't know. But this lot. You see them out here surviving, and that's fantastic." Jack said, looking up at Sayaka.

"It really is fantastic. Like you. You know. You might be out there, somewhere."

"I could go meet myself."

"Well, the only man you're ever going to be happy with." The Doctor said, behind the door.

"This new regeneration, like how it is similar to this magical girl, in terms of personality, it's kind of cheeky." Jack said.

"Hmm."

(Open POV)

Yana's laboratory…

"God, they are sure talking for a while." Kyoko said, going back to playing DDR. "It sounds like stuff I should know."

"I know right, those two are sure mysterious. I never understand half the things the Doctor says, while I understand some of what Jared says. What's wrong?" Martha asked.

"Chan Professor, what is it tho?" Chantho asked.

"Time travel. They say there was time travel back in the old days. I never believed. But what would I know? Stupid old man. Never could keep time. Always late, always lost. Even this thing never worked." Yana said, looking at an ornately inscribed fob watch.

"Crap. That's the thing Jared talked about once. That watch from 1913." Kyoko said, looking at Martha. "Or looks like it, I think."

"Time and time and time again. Always running out on me." Yana said.

"Can we have a look at that?" Martha asked.

"Oh, it's only an old relic. Like me."

"Well, where did you get it?" Kyoko asked, looking down at the watch. "That watch."

"Hmm? I was found with it."

"What do you mean?" Martha asked.

"An orphan in the storm. I was a naked child found on the coast of the Silver Devastation. Abandoned, with only this." Yana said.

"Did you open it?" Kyoko asked, studying the Professor closely. "Or have you?"

"Why would I? It's broken."

"How do you know it's broken if you've never opened it?" Martha asked.

"It's stuck. It's old. It's not meant to be. I don't know." Yana said, as Martha turns the watch over and recognises the inscriptions, and Kyoko recognizes it too. "Does it matter?"

"No. It's nothing." Martha said, looking over at Kyoko.

"It really is nothing." Kyoko said, a Pocky in her mouth, and she is using her ring to transform into her magical girl form. "It's fine."

"Like how it should be up here. Everything's fine. We're going to see if the Doctor and Jared needs us." Martha said, running out of the room with Kyoko.

Radiation chamber…

The final connection is made.

"Yes!" Jack said, happily.

"Now, get out of there. Come on!" The Doctor said, behind the door.

Control room…

The Doctor uses the telephone, "Lieutenant, everyone on board?"

"Ready and waiting." Atillo said, over the speaker.

"Stand by. Two minutes to ignition." The Doctor said.

"So, a picnic and ice cream, right?" Sayaka asked, looking at Jared.

"That's the plan." Jared said, running around the room flicking switches with the Doctor, Jack, and Sayaka. "I need a long vacation after this.

Martha enters with Kyoko.

"Ah, nearly there. The footprint, it's a gravity pulse. It stamps down, the rocket shoots up. Bit primitive. It'll take all four of us to keep it stable." The Doctor said, happily.

"Jared, you never told me that the Professor has this watch." Kyoko said, looking at Jared. "The same exact watch you described. The same writing too, goddamnit."

"You're kidding." Jared said, laughing a little. "There's no way he could have the same watch. I thought I got rid of it a while back."

"You really thought you hid it, huh." Sayaka said, sadly. "Wherever it could have ended up."

"That's what I thought, at first."

"Then how could it have ended up with the Professor?" Kyoko asked. "Of all people."

"Do you know how he could have gotten it?" Sayaka asked.

"No." Jared said, sadly.

"It can't be." The Doctor said, hearing an alarm blare throughout the room.

"That means he could be a Time Lord. Doctor, you might not be the last one." Jack said, happily.

"Jack, Sayaka, keep it level!" The Doctor said, looking at the Time Agent and magical girl.

"But that's brilliant, isn't it?" Martha asked.

"Yes, it is. Course it is. Depends which one. Brilliant, fantastic, yeah. But they died, the Time Lords. All of them. They died."

"Not if he was human." Sayaka said, looking at the Doctor. "That's a possibility, right?"

"What did he say, Martha, Kyoko? What did he say?" The Doctor asked.

"Well, he had trouble seeing the watch." Kyoko said, some sesame balls on a skewer in her mouth. "That's all I saw."

"It's like that perception filter thing." Martha said.

"What about now? Can he see it now?" The Doctor asked.

Yana's laboratory…

Yana looks at the watch, while Homura exited the TARDIS.

"Is it safe?" Madoka asked, peeking her head out of the time machine.

It's safe." Homura said, while she transformed into her magical girl form, along with Madoka. "But I need to take another look around."

"Right."

"So, why let us out now? Why did the TARDIS let us?"

"Chan Yana, won't you please take some rest tho?" Chantho asked.

Control room…

"Thirteen, twelve, eleven, ten, nine…" A computer said.

"If he escaped the Time War then it's the perfect place to hide. The end of the universe." Jack said.

"Six, five…" The computer said.

"Think of what the Face of Boe said. His dying words. He said…" Martha said.

"One."

"You are not alone." Jared said, when the Doctor turns the last switch and the rocket engines fire. "Crap! I forgot when he would appear!"

"You have got to be kidding me!" Kyoko said, as Yana opens the watch and golden energy streams into him.

"At least you remembered." Sayaka said, when the letters on the monitor spell out YANA. "Come on then. Let's hope Madoka and Homura didn't exit the TARDIS."

Outside, Futurekind watch the rocket blast away.

Yana's laboratory…

"Chan Professor Yana tho?" Chantho asked.

Control room…

"Lieutenant, have you done it? Did you get velocity? Have you done it? Lieutenant, have you done it?" The Doctor asked.

"Affirmative. We'll see you in Utopia." Atillo said, on the speaker.

"Good luck."

Yana's laboratory…

Yana moves a lever and the control room door slams in the Doctor's face.

"Chan but you've locked them in tho." Chantho said.

Control room…

"Crap!" Kyoko said, looking at the door. "Get the door open!"

Yana's laboratory…

"Not to worry, my dear. As one door closes, another must open." Yana said, turning off the silo's defences.

"Stop, please." Madoka said, holding out her bow and arrow. "You've lowered the defenses."

"Chan she's right, the Futurekind will get in tho." Chantho said, as the tribe bursts through the gates.

The Doctor and Jack finally get the control room door open.

"Chan Professor, I'm so sorry, but I must stop you. You're destroying all our work tho." Chantho said.

"That might be a good idea." Homura said, noticing Chantho pointing a gun at Yana. "I don't know for sure."

"Oh. Now I can say I was provoked." Yana said, taking hold of a live energy cable.

The Doctor, Jack, Martha, Jared, Sayaka, and Kyoko have to double back to avoid Futurekind.

"This is bad." Madoka said, looking back at Homura. "Do you have a plan?"

"With Mami not here. I do." Homura said, taking out her gun. "Cover me."

"Right." Madoka said, holding her bow. "What do I do?"

"Do you think you can pull off a team attack from Team RWBY?"

"That is not my name! The Professor was an invention. So perfect a disguise that I forgot who I am." Yana said.

"Chan then who are you tho?" Chantho asked.

"I am the Master." Yana said, he thrusts the live end of the cable at Chantho. But Homura stopped time just in the nick of it to move Chantho out of the way. It's only in the room Homura is in with Madoka, Yana, and Chantho that got affected. But time resumed, but Chantho wasn't saved quickly enough.

Corridor…

"This way!" Jack said.

Yana caresses the jar with the Doctor's hand in it.

Outside Yana's laboratory...

"Professor! Professor, let me in! Let me in! Jack, get the door open now!" The Doctor said, angrily.

Yana's laboratory…

"Professor! Professor, where are you?! Professor! Professor, are you there? Please, I need to explain. Whatever you do, don't open that watch." The Doctor asked.

Yana removes a circuit board from the gravitational field navigation system, "Utopia."

Outside Yana's laboratory…

"They're coming!" Sayaka said, looking behind her.

"Professor!" The Doctor said.

Yana's laboratory…

Yana disconnects the power cable from the Tardis.

"Open the door, please! I'm begging you, Professor. Please, listen to me." The Doctor said, and Chantho is not yet dead. Behind Yana's back, she reaches for her gun. "Just open the door, please."

Chantho shoots Yana, then dies. Jack smashes the control panel and the door opens. Yana grabs Madoka and Homura, he knocked the two out with chloroform, then he steps back into the Tardis, carrying the jar, and shuts the door on the Doctor.

He locks it just before the Doctor can insert his key then goes to the console and presses a switch. Yana then walked over to the two magical girls and snatched their Soul Gems that are keeping them alive.

Tardis…

"Deadlocked." Yana said. "And the two most powerful magical girls are out for the count."

Yana's laboratory…

"Let me in. Let me in!" The Doctor said, angrily.

"She's dead." Martha said, looking down at Chantho.

"So, what are we gonna do now?" Sayaka asked.

"I don't know." Kyoko said, as she is helping Jack and Sayaka try to hold the door closed. "Ask the fanboy."

"I broke the lock. Give us a hand!" Jack said.

"I'm begging you. Everything's changed! It's only the two of us! We're the only ones left! Just let me in!" The Doctor said.

Tardis…

"Killed by an insect. A girl. How inappropriate. Still, if the Doctor can be young and strong, and if there are magical girls that are young and strong, then so can I. The Master reborn." Yana said.

The Doctor watches the golden glow through the Tardis window.

Yana's laboratory…

Futurekind force the door open.

"Doctor! Jared! You'd better think of something!" Jack said.

Tardis...

"Ha, ha! Ha, ha, ha! Ha, ha, ha! Oh." The Master said.

Yana's laboratory…

"Now then, Doctor, Jared." The Master said, his voice coming out of the TARDIS.

Tardis...

"Ooo, new voice. Hello, hello." The Master said.

Yana's laboratory...

"Hello." The Master said, his voice coming out of the TARDIS.

Tardis...

"Anyway, why don't we stop and have a nice little chat while I tell you all my plans and you can work out a way to…" The Master said.

Yana's laboratory…

"...stop me, I don't think..." The Master said, his voice coming out of the TARDIS.

"Hold on. I know that voice." Martha said.

"Me too. Where have I heard that voice before?" Kyoko asked, a Pocky in her mouth.

Tardis...

"Use my name." The Master said.

Yana's laboratory…

"Ah man, you have to think of something. Or else we lose the Law of Cycles." Sayaka said, looking over at Jared.

Tardis...

"Tough!" The Master said.

Yana's laboratory...

"I can't hold out much longer, Doctor, Jared!" Jack said.

"Son of a…" Jared said, pacing back and forth. "What do I do? What do I do?"

The Doctor activates his sonic screwdriver while the Master starts up the time rotor.

Tardis…

"Oh, no you don't! End of the universe. Have fun. Bye, bye! Let's go Madoka and Homura! Say goodbye to your friends!" The Master said, happily.

Yana's laboratory...

"Doctor, Jared, stop him! Help us. They're getting in!" Martha said, as the Tardis dematerialises.
