"I'll still love you, Honey!", Sofia said. The beautiful Dutch woman that Nico married for almost three years has given her a very beautiful daughter.

"Trust me, Sofia, after this surgery is done, I will be able to see you and our daughter again and we will live happily again." Nico convinced Sofia. Nico can't wait to see his wife and child if he can see them later.

The woman who had been holding Nico's hand tightly kissed the back of her husband's hand. "Of course, Mas!" said Sofia then stuck the back of Nico's hand on her cheek.

"Miss Sofia!" called voice very familiar to Nico's sense of hearing.

"Honey, I have to go first. There was a meeting with a foreign client, so I had to get there on time," Sofia said.

Nico's hand groped, pulled Sofia's face, and then kissed her on the tip of his wife's forehead. "I love you, baby!" said Nico smiling warmly.

"May Honey operation this time succeed!" said Sofia slowly releasing the grip of Nico's hand.

The woman in the suit got up. "Doctor Hans will arrive soon. Wait a minute!" said Sofia in reply to a gentle nod by Nico.

"Be careful on the road, baby!" said Nico.

"Sam!" Call Nico to his secretary.

The man standing in the doorway replied. "Yes, sir!"

"Take care of Sofia, be careful on the street. I don't want anything bad to happen to my wife," Nico said.

"Please calm down, I'll take good care of Miss Sofia," Sam said, wrapping his arms around Sofia's slender waist and then passing.

A tinge of smiles flashed from both corners of Nico's lips. Slowly the man rested his body on the patient's bed.

The phone that was on the nightstand vibrated without pause. Nico groped the flat object that was on the nightstand next to the end of the bed, then pressed the green button on the screen. Nico's mobile phone was made specifically for the visually impaired. It made it easier for Nico to use it.

"Hello!" greeted Nico to the man behind the phone.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Nico, this is Secretary Aris. Doctor Hans contacted me, he couldn't handle Mr. Nico's surgery today. So I asked another doctor to handle your surgery. How you don't mind, do you?" asked the man behind the phone.

"It doesn't matter, as long as he works well. Because I can't wait to see my kids and my wife soon," Nico said.

"Okay, sir! Soon I will ask the Doctor from Fatmawati Hospital to come there now," replied the Secretary who works at Nico's company.

Exactly one year ago, when Nico and Sofia had just returned home after celebrating a New Year's Eve party in the peak area. That night it rained very heavily, Nico who was in a hurry to go home, after hearing the news that their daughter named Alisa fever made Nico drive his car at high speed. Until the car, he was driving crashed into the road guardrail. The windshield of Nico's car shattered, the broken glass entered his eyes and caused damage to cause blindness. Three times Nico has had surgery with his family's trust doctor, Doctor Hans. However, there has not been a single significant development that can make Nico can see again. The man almost broke up there and gave up. However, for the sake of Sofia and Alisa, Nico will do whatever it takes to get his eyesight back.

"Good afternoon, sir!" greeted a friendly voice that resuscitated Nico. The sound of footsteps that more than one person approached towards the patient's bed where Nico was.

"Good afternoon!" replied Nico, putting his sense of hearing firmly. Even the smallest sound can be felt.

"I am the doctor who will handle your surgery today. Introduction to my name Doctor Firman," said the young man in a friendly tone.

"Fine!" replied Nico with a small smile.

"How are you, are you ready to operate?" asked Doctor Firman.

"Of course, I can't wait to see the world again!" said Nico happily.

"Yes already, let the nurse check all your circumstances first. I will prepare an operating room for Mr. Nico," Said Doctor Firman. A moment later, the sound of his shoes was getting away.

"Let's check your condition first, yes!" said the woman's voice, which sounded very soft.

"Okay!" replied Nico.

A nurse began to check Nico's condition starting from blood pressure and all the reports that will be needed by Doctor Firman on the operating table later.

A few moments later after the nurse finished checking Nico's condition. Nico was ready to be taken to the procession room. The cold air welcomed Nico's arrival in the distinctively scented room. The sound of medical devices clashing with each other can be heard entering Nico's sense of hearing.

'Sofia, Alisa, Daddy will soon be able to see you again.

"Mr. Nico, we are from now on, the operation?" said Doctor Firman in reply with a gentle nod by Nico.

It felt like a syringe pierced Nico's shoulder. This was followed by injections in Nico's other body. Not waiting long, Nico felt his body suddenly feel very sleepy, and then everything felt dark.

The sound of the hardness was heard entering Nico's sense of hearing. It seemed like the anesthetic effect that Doctor Firman had injected had already begun to disappear from his body.

"Who would have you replace Doctor Hans with another Doctor?" jolted Sofia's voice in annoyance.

Nico would love to say and ask Sofia what had happened to make the woman angry. However, Nico abandoned his intentions when he heard the voice of another man in the room.

"Calm down baby, calm down!" said the familiar voice instantly surprised Nico. 'Honey?'

"How can I be calm, he just wants to replace our family doctor with someone else," Sofia said furiously at the nurse in front of her.

"Sorry, Mrs, I don't know!" the nurse's voice was heard trembling.

"Calm down Sofia, if you're screaming like this, what if Nico wakes up."

"What has happened while I am blind?" said Nico. The man remained silent and pretended to be unconscious on the bed.

"Sam, how am I not upset, if Nico's vision came back, all our plans would have failed," Sofia said.

"Calm down, baby! Calm down!"

Again, Nico's heart was increasingly wringing to hear his private secretary call affectionately to his wife.

"We don't know yet if Nico will be able to see again or not. You know for yourself, the chances of Nico being able to see that are very small. Let's wait for what the result will be!" Sam tries to calm Sofia down.

The woman folded both of her hands with pursed lips.

"Okay, my dear. Let's see what game have you hidden from me as long as I'm blind!" said Nico in his heart.
