12 Chapter 12

"Sam, why shut up?" Sam moved his palm in front of Sofia's face. Instantly the beautiful woman realized from her daydream.

"Yes, Sam?" said Sofia. "I can't do that, Sam. Even if everyone in this company already knows our relationship, it's just that for the right of the company I can't do it yet," rejected Sofia, biting her lower lip, staring fixedly at Sam.

Sam snorted heavily, disappointment clearly drawn from the man's face. One hand Sam touched gently on Sofia's shoulder. "Why baby?" Sam dropped a shady look at Sofia. "Do you doubt my skill in taking care of this company?" asked Sam. "I've served almost five years in this company baby, so you don't have to doubt it anymore," Sam urged.

Sofia grew increasingly nervous, as she watched sam's two eyeballs staring at her with confidence.

Tok! Tok!

Soon Sam pulled both of his hands off Sofia's shoulder. A woman was standing outside Sofia's door.  Seen from the door that has glass on the top.

"Let's talk about this later, Sam!" Sofia held sam's hand for a moment. The man with the disappointed face was only able to nod lethargically. Before leaving, Sam dropped a small kiss on the woman's forehead.

"Don't forget, the money transfer I need is baby!" said Sam before he opened the door of the room.

"Yes!" said Sofia, a long sigh.

"Good morning, sir?" greeted the orange hooded woman as Sam opened the door to Sofia's room.

The man with beautiful eyes just nodded his head then passed. Sam's arrogant attitude has always been like that to every employee. The man was famously cold and rarely spoke.

"Come in, Raya!" call Sofia to Raya standing in the doorway. 

Raya placed a stack of files on Sofia's desk. For a moment the woman in the work suit sitting in front of Raya looked at the pile of files on the table.

"What is this, Ray?" asked Sofia frowning at Raya who had been sitting down.

"These are the files that Mr. Nico has to sign. Someone wants to buy the plantation in accordance with the debts that the company loans to Mr. Santoso Company," Raya explained.

"Couldn't it be more, Ray?" Sofia linked both of her eyebrows. Dropped a sad look at Raya.

"I tried to negotiate with the person, but they kept resisting, Mrs!"

Sofia let out a long sigh, resuscitating her body on the bench for a moment. His eyes looked away with a thinking face.

"Who has bought the estate, I will try to negotiate with him?" said Sofia pulling her body near the table.

"He is a foreign investor, so there is no way he will come to Indonesia," Raya said. "We negotiated via chat," Raya added.

"What? How could he believe in us, without looking first at the plantation we were going to sell, Ray?" Sofia frowned, rounding her eyes.

"He said he had come to Mr. Nico's farm. Therefore, when I put an advertisement if the plantation was sold, he immediately wanted to buy it, "Raya explained, full of confidence.

"All right!" Sofia pulled the right corner of her lips while nodding the sign if she understood.

"So all you have to do is ask for Mr. Nico's signature for these files." Raya opened a pile of files on the table, showing the transfer letter of ownership of Nico's vast plantation in the city of Bandung.

"Can't it, if I'm the only one who signed it?" asked Sofia staring fixedly at the young girl sitting in front of her.

"It can't seem to be, Mrs, because the estate belongs to Mr. Nico. While Mr. Nico is still there so it is impossible to represent."

Sofia snorted heavily, instantly her brain was thinking looking for a way to lie to Nico to sign the files.

"Mrs. Sofia!"

Call Raya resuscitating Sofia's daydream. 

"Yes, what else, Ray?" said Sofia.

"I have also negotiated with the company of Mr. Santoso to provide a time to repayment our company's loan. And he agreed to that." 

A tinge of smiles instantly flashed from both corners of Sofia's lips. His eyes seemed to sparkle.

"And he gave an estimate of the next week to pay it all off," Raya added with a happy face.

"Huf! Sofia threw her body leaning against the seat, her face seemingly sparkling and relieved.

"Your work is great, Raya, just a few months you work here, you can handle all the thorny problems in this company. Next month I will give you a gift." Sofia smiled broadly, all the problems that bothered her mind had been resolved in one day.

"Thank you, Mrs. Sofia!" said Raya nodding his head, a sign paying tribute to Sofia.

The windshield window of the car carrying Sofia was still dewy. Rain that fell throughout the day, making the car's windshield become blurry, it was not clear to see the scenery outside the car.

"Oh, that day!" For a moment Mang Ujang was silent, his face seemed to think. "Mr. Sam only asks to be delivered to eat at the restaurant, madam!" said Mang Ujang, his eyes glancing at Sofia several times.

"You guys go with anyone, Mang? Tumben Sam eats in restaurants alone," Sofia said.

"Alone madam, only me and Mr. Sam." Mang Ujang's face looked nervous, the tail of his eyes again glancing at Sofia who seemed to believe his words.

An hour's drive away finally the car carrying Sofia arrived in front of Nico's two-story house. Men who choose simplicity even though they are already struggling with the property.

"Bik, where's Mr. Nico?" quipped Sofia when she saw art in her house in the living room.

"Sir, Nico's in the room, Madam!" replied Bibik.

"Mang Ujang, it was raining heavily, huh?" said Sofia glancing at the man who was about four years old from the rearview mirror of the car on the wheel.

At first glance, Mang Ujang glanced at Sofia from the same rearview mirror. "Yes, it rained very heavily," mang Ujang replied.

"Oh Yes Mang, yesterday Sam took Mang Ujang to go where?" asked Sofia.

Sofia immediately passed towards the top floor. Opening the closed room door, Nico was seen curled up on the bed. At first glance, Sofia looked at some of Nico's drugs that were splashed over the side nightstand of the end of the bed.

"It looks like Nico is still under the influence of sleeping pills," muttered Sofia's slowly. He placed a pile of files that he brought from the office on a table that was in the spacious room.

"Okay, I'll just wait for Nico to wake up. Later I will persuade him to sign these files," Sofia said walking towards the bathroom in her room.
