A Weird Interview : Part -2

"By the way, Kaname-kun. that girl from before, was that your girlfriend?" He asked.

I stared at his face for a moment. He didn't show any sign of embarrassment for asking a question like that. Is he mentally sick?

Alright, I am going to start bringing food from tomorrow. I am not coming here ever again.

That weird guy's name was Hajime Ishizaki. Unfortunately, he is in the same class as me.

"Dunno," I answered.

If he was trying to make me feel awkward or embarrassed or whatever, he's completely failing.

"I mean, I saw you two sitting so close that day, in the library. That's why I asked you," He replied.

He either was too much of an airhead to try to understand that no one gets a girl on his first day or was just trying to tease me.

"I don't have enough courage to ask a girl out whom I just met. Just look at me, do I look like a handsome guy to you?" I tried to be honest but that last question wasn't a great thing to ask.

"Hmm, you really aren't handsome that's for sure." He took a big bite at the burger, "But I don't think you're that ugly either."

That ugly either? Does that mean I am ugly but not that much? Ouch!

"Anyway, there's something I need to talk about with you," I said.

I wanted to talk about that interview thingy, he might know something about it.

"I see, why later though?" He asked.

I remained quiet.

He almost finished his burger. I finished my lunch a while ago, I wanted to go to the class but he told me to accompany him, I don't know why I accepted it. Maybe it was a good chance to talk about that thing,

"I'd be going then." I stood up.

He had almost finished eating. There wasn't any reason for me to stay there any longer.

"Wait!" He yelled, "Let me finish my lunch." cultivate

I didn't look back and walked straight to the classroom.

The last few classes went pretty smoothly. Sakura-sensei took the documents with her after the last class. She gave me a cold stare before leaving.

Was she informed about me getting a look at the documents? If that was the case then I might get in a serious trouble later.

Just when I was going to leave the classroom. Ishizaki showed up, waving his hand at me.

"Hey! Kaname-kun."

I awkwardly wave back.

"You said you're gonna talk about something, right?" He asked.

"Oh, yeah." I replied, "Let's talk outside."

I didn't know that much about the topic, so I didn't want to talk about it while other people are around. I still didn't know that if it was a secret matter or not.

We walked out of the building together. Ishizaki seemed to be in a very good mood. I saw him talking with others like they were friends for a long time. His socializing skill was really admirable.

"So, how long have you been in this school?" I asked. I didn't want to get straight to the point. I was trying to get the answer differently.

"From the beginning. Why did you ask?" He replied.

I didn't answer his question but instead, I questioned him back.

"Did you notice anything weird about the school?" I asked. I knew what he'd answer but still asked.

"Well, yeah. You saw that too, right? A group of students came to the library to study. He didn't even talk with anyone."

Just as I expected, I knew that was going to be his answer but it wasn't the answer I needed.

"No, I mean, have you noticed any other weird thing about this school?" I asked.

"Hmm... I don't know-" He didn't finish his sentence. He ran towards a small group of students while waving at them. It seemed like they were his friend.

"Tch, I missed my chance" I murmured.

I realized I was wrong when I saw Ishizaki coming back. I was kind of confused at first but soon I realized why.

He dragged my hand and took me to his friends. I couldn't resist, if I did I might fall off and get scratches. He was surprisingly, kind of strong.

"Guys, meet my new friend." He yelled.

Since all of this happened so suddenly. I couldn't help feeling awkward. I awkwardly waved at them (again).

A girl and two guys were standing there. I could recognize one of them.

His name was Minase, I saw him with Kondo yesterday. I was pretty sure that he's from another class.

There was another guy who looked pretty shy, he looked at me for a second and quickly went back to his phone. There was a girl too.

"You seem oddly familiar, have we met before?" The girl asked.

I didn't know what to say. Maybe, asking her was class she was in is the best idea? I decided to ask her if she was my classmate or not.

"Umm... What class-"

"He was with Fumiko-chan yesterday," Ishizaki said, without letting me say anything.

"I see." That girl said, "Which class are you in?"

"I am Ashiro Kaname, from class 1-B," I replied.

"Oh, we're in the same class then. My name is Yuki Yamazuki. Nice to meet you," She offered me a handshake and I accepted it.

I didn't know if I should ask them about that thing. It'd be pretty awkward to ask someone something like this right away. But Izhizaki had other plans.

"By the way guys, did you notice anything strange about this school?" He asked them.

"Nope," Yamazuki said, "why you ask?"

"Apparently, Kaname-kun has found something weird," Ishizaki replied, "Tell them about it, Kaname-kun."

He looked at me, waiting for me to talk.

Who told you to do all of this? Why can't you just shut up? I shouldn't have asked you about this.

"Actually, I got an email from the school last night. It told me to come to school by 7, and told me to go to the C-Block building."

I noticed that that shy guy was kind of surprised when he heard the word "C-Block". Does he know something about it? He didn't look like a person who'd just tell me whatever I ask them.

Those three looked kind of confused, but that shy guy had no sign of confusion whatsoever. But he was sweating for some reason, the weather was pretty cool at that moment.

I bid goodbye to them and started walking towards the gate. I didn't get any information from them, it might be something that only a few students know. Since I was bad at socializing, I needed to figure the matter out myself.

All of a sudden, I felt a little tap on my shoulder. It caught me off guard, so I almost jumped.

I turned around and saw a familiar face, it was that shy-looking guy from that group. I didn't expect him to interact with me.

"K-Kaname-kun," He muttered, I was barely able to hear him, "I-I-I know something about the matter y-you were talking about." He looked nervous, he might have social anxiety.

I looked at him and said, "Let's have a walk, shall we?"
