Little Changes (poem written at 13)

A change of shirt,

A different outfit,

Different wording,

Something somewhere else,

Closer people or a kiss on the cheek,

Everything and all affect us in ways we don't understand,

A picture is truly worth a thousand words,

A gentle breeze lifting your clothes like your flying,

Flashing lights passing by,

Suddenly awake without knowing why,

Shooting straight when you didn't,

Forgetting a promise made or spontaneous hugs,

People judge you by appearance, by actions,

They watched waited finding and abiding time,

Wanting everything, yet nothing,

A map on the wall,

A desk in the way,

A disappointed look,

A flash of a burning sight,

A new taste,

A drop of water rolling down your skin,

Always never forgotten.
