What made me smile today?

It was a chilly winter evening and my stomach was shouting badly for snacks. I tried feeding it with an apple. It remained quiet for a while and I could do my work patiently. But, then again, the cries started and I had to feed my stomach with something heavy, and of course healthy. I then took my friends to an omelette stall outside our office. Believe me, the omelette that the guy cooks there is sumptuous and finger-licking. It's so good that you can have as much as you want. So, we placed our order and were eagerly waiting for it. And, as we were waiting, a dog came towards us. Seeing this, one of my friends started pampering it. He did it for merely 5-10 seconds and the dog became very friendly. It started going to each one of us one by one and waited a while there to be pampered. When it came to me, it forwarded its one leg towards me (similar to the gesture we do when we raise our hand for friendship). Though I am not a dog lover but seeing its raised hand and cute puppy face, I gave him my heart.

The little one stood there and watched me cutely and I couldn't take my eyes off him. Even the tasty omelette couldn't draw my attention.

That sweet gesture made my day!
