How it all began.

Smoke. I smell something burning. Not just burning. It's hot. A bit too hot for comfort and I can't breathe. Groaning I tried to open my eyes to see whether or not something was pulled, but all I could see was a black cloud. My hearing became clear as I heard the screams of my parents calling me but in an effort, I couldn't respond. I already took in as much smoke as it is so my chances of living through this were lower than I had on my test. 39.5% as I should put it out that way.

I couldn't think anymore as I blacked out, but I felt a pair of hands, no gloves, something pulling me out of where I was. Opening my eyes never felt so hard to do in my life, I watched it went black then bright than dark. Where was I and what happened to my home?"Son can you hear me?!"

Who?

"Stay with us kid!"

What did they mean by that?

"We're losing him!"

Was I dying?

"Sora stay with us!"

Nana, where am I? What's going on? Where's ma and pa? What happened to the house?

I'm drowning in questions as I felt air enter my lungs, I was breathing once again but slowly and what felt like weak. I feel tired, I don't wanna opened my eyes. I just want to rest while I still can, but the question kept me up to a point I felt wide awake. Am I in a coma or am I stuck in a dream? A faint beeping could be heard on my right. I can hear my heartbeat in my ears. The blood rushing in my body felt rushed and forced as all the energy I had was being drained within a simple action. Slowly, I focused my energy on my eyes, and to my surprise, I didn't expect to be blinded by bright lights. I blinked a couple of times, more than a couple, as I tried to get used to my surroundings.

Everything was a beautiful pearlescent white color as I noticed where I was. I was in a hospital, lying in a medical bed attached to a heart monitor with something giving me oxygen in my lungs. My muscles whine and ached as I tried to move, I felt sore in some many places until it dawned on me. The last thing I recall in my memory before I blacked out was something falling on top of me. Fear and panic ran through my mind as the calls of my parents echoed in my mind. Did they make it? Are they alive? where are they? My heart began to pound as my mind thought of so many horrible things, some that I never wish on anyone's parents. The window in my room flung open as a loud strong gush of the window was blowing against the trees. My so-called gift was reacting to my emotions again but who would blame it, I'm in a hospital worried about what had happened to my parents. I felt shaky, my mind was hazy, and then right before I knew it, I passed out.

"Sora this way"A female in a beautiful sunflower sundress was sitting down near a tall muscular male. Her hair was white snow and skin so soft yet smooth as silk. Her eyes were shining like a star with an ocean blue color lighting up her smile. My mother was all I can say, perfect.

"Coming mama"

Without hesitation, I ran to them with a big warm loving smile. The happiest child on the planet who had a gift of controlling the weather around him had a loving pair of parents who made sure he's days stayed sunny and bright. laughter filled the area but it quickly faded to a house that went ablaze. The beautiful female standing there in front of me with cold eyes, she wasn't breathing and she looked pale white.

"Mama. . . "

A burst of light appeared in my eye. I hate when doctors do these things, especially when I'm asleep. I looked at the doctor who seemed relieved I was alive. A few nurses smiled with such warmth in their hearts as the came over and did a few things with my breathing tubs and the heart monitor. Yet I only looked around for the ones I knew, she was standing next to me, rubbing my arms as she looked pale as a ghost. Nana had always been there for me. My nanny but I call her nana because of how close she was to our family. When she saw the look on my face, she answered in a hushed tone to quiet my thoughts.

"I am so sorry to tell you this now, but your parents are gone."

No...
