Chapter Nine

"Holy fuck!" I yell standing up, "That's impossible!" I hiss. I turn to leave, however, I hear a growl. I stop in my tracks.  Did he just growl at me?

"Luke" I hear Matteo mumble from behind me, feeling him grab my hand. I dont pull away, but I dont look at him, "You're my mate, I proved I am a wolf, you have to trust me" He whispers.

"Trust you?" I ask frowning "It isn't that I dont trust you, I can't have a boyfriend" I whisper turning to look at him.

"What?" He asks frowning.

"I'm not allowed to have a boyfriend. Didn't Ashley tell you?" I ask.

"Not allowed?" He questions.

"My mother and step-father, they will kick me out if I dont have a girlfriend tomorrow" I whisper.

"Okay..What if Ashley pretends to be your girlfriend with your parents and at school and stuff we will be together?" He asks.

"I can't risk it" I whisper staring up at him.

"Then we will be together in private, Luke, youre mine, please" Matteo whispers.

"I- I" I whisper staring up at him. Before I could say anything else his lips meet mine. I pause as my body stiffens. However, as he goes to pull away I pull him back in. This of course makes him smirk as we kiss. Soon we pull away. My cheeks are red. I can feel them burning as I stare up at him.

"Is that a yes?" He asks as he holds me by my hips.

"Yeah" I whisper, nibbling my lower lip.

"Good" He says with his handsome smirk.

"Soooo" I hear ashley speak from behind us, making me jump a little.

"Ashely, do me a favor and pretend to be Luke's girlfriend with his family and at school" Matteo says sternly.

"Yeah yeah" She mumbles, "Did you tell him that you're the alpha's son, our soon to be alpha?" She asks.

"What?" I question, "Alpha?"

"Alpha, the leader" He whispers "You're our luna"

"Luna?" I ask frowning, "How? I'm human" I whisper.

"It doesn't matter Luke, I am their alpha, you are my mate, so by default you're their luna. You will help me lead" He says caressing my arms gently as I stare at him.

"I cant, I, I am not going to be a good leader!" I hiss.

"You will be, dont worry, you won't have to start until school is over and we are both graduated" He assures.

"What about college?" I ask frowning small.

"College?" He asks matching my frown.

"Yeah, I want to go" I mutter.

"Too bad" Ashley shrugs, "Our luna needs to be here with us"

"What?" I ask looking at Matteo.

"You won't need college" He assures.

"Won't need it?" I ask, frustration laced in my voice.

"I mean..." he starts, however, I cut him off.

"No, fuck you! You don't get to decide my future!" I hiss pulling away from him.

"Luke! My pack needs you, I need you!" He growls grabbing my hand tightly, "You are not going to disrespect me!"

"Fuck you! You aren't the boss of me!" I hiss pulling my hand away, however, he doesnt let me go.

"Matteo" Ashley interrupts, "He's human, he doesnt know"

"I don't care, I've been patient" He whispers pulling me back to him.

"Let go" I hiss trying to pull away from him.

"No" He simply growls holding my wrist tighter.

"Ow! Youre hurting me!" I hiss tears welling in my eyes.

"Matteo" A voice booms, looking up with tears in my eyes I see his father, "Let him go" He growls, immedately Matteo lets go. Not questioning it I rush off towards the front sobbing small. I get to my car being quick to start her up and drive off, I am sobbing as I speed down the road into town. As I get to a stop sign I stop, trying to just breath. No one is around so I sit here for a while. It's a four way stop. Once I am finally able to breath calmly I start to drive. Just as I get half way through I hear a horn honking as a truck comes racing down the street, eventually t-boning my car. 

Thats all i remember, hearing the horn honking as a truck races towrds the stop sign. The next thing I remember is seeing Matteo. It couldn't have been him though. He was talking frantically to somebody, I couldn't really make out what they were saying. Then nothing again. My body feels heavy, it hurts to breath. In fact, it hurts to just lay perfectly still too. All I want is my dad, but that won't happen. But he's my only comfort. Just thinking about him. It helps.
