Manager Liam ignored his dumbfounded secretary who stood watching him with a strange expression he didn't bother looking at. 

He literally runs out of his office towards the office of the Deputy Manager. Upon reaching there, he didn't even bother knocking as he opens the door in a rush and says without exchanging any pleasantries, "we made it Miss Fynn!" 

He stood at the door looking all enthusiastic and in anticipation of Anna Fynn's exaggerated response. 

He was expecting a warm reception for starters. She could at least offer him a seat and show her joy with all smiles just like him. 

The only response he got however was the blank look Adriana gave him as she stared him up and down like he was a clown. 

Manager Liam did not take any offense in the least bit. As he thought Adriana was caught off-guard by his overly enthusiastic self, he lays the cards straight for her to understand.
