As for teaching them proper manners, I'll leave that to Rin and Haru.

All of them have to learn how to respect their superiors.

I assigned each of my fellow hobgoblin subordinates/comrades to separate 'Divisions.'

Rin-chan will be the leader of the first division, Ragnarok, which places her at the central command of all military affairs.

In essence, she's the five star general of the entire army that is soon to be established.

As she possesses the divine protection of the Demi-God of Victory and the Demi-God of Warfare, there's no one else more suitable to lead the armed forces than her.

These divine protections aren't just for show, sweety.

With them, her chances of winning in battle are increased in tandem with her proficiency in the art of war.

She's literally built for this kind of thing.

At the same time, since she obviously won't have enough work to take care of already (lol), she will also be attending to me as my personal concierge.

At the head of the 2nd Division is Kanami-tan herself, which I graciously named Aegis. This division consists of the King's personal guard.

She will also be taking up the position of my Grand Chamberlain.

Organizing the affairs of the palace and such.

At the head of the 3rd Division is—drum roll please—Da da da dun~

The 3rd Division, Medulla, is one that handles all administrative, foreign and domestic affairs.

.....Oh man...this is a nightmare...

The 4th Division, Eden, focuses on agriculture and education.

We need both departments and both must be needed.

Due to her divine protection from the Demi-God of Harvest, this much is self explanatory.

Well, although it may seem like a lot—and it actually is a lot—each of them will eventually have many subordinates of their own to delegate tasks to.

What do you think subordinates are for, huh?

This concept was made for the very purpose of exploitation.

Dividing up work for the sake of increased efficiency?

Yea, no.

Simply do the work that I don't feel like doing.

This king may be wise and intelligent, but I am most definitely not a masochist.

You'd do well to remember that.

Now for the 5th Division, I have Sui-chan at the helm, which is called Exodus.

This Division focuses on public health and wellness, considering that Sui-chan herself is a Hobgoblin Cleric.

A very suitable position for her in my honest, humble, majestic opinion.

At the head of the 6th Division, Sentinel, is naturally Mei-tan. 

This Division controls all intelligence and reconnaissance, which suits her divine protection from the Demi-God of Insight.

It allows her to gain a rudimentary understanding of whatever she perceives at any given moment.

Almost like having intrinsic knowledge.

As for the 7th Division, Hydra, Fuuka will be leading it.

They will stand as the lawgivers, enforcers, and head of internal affairs.

If anyone is caught breaking the rules, Hydra will take on the burden of hunting them down and punishing them.

And last but not least, the 8th Division, Aberration—commandeered by Eri-chan.

They encompass all things labor oriented, such as mining, crafts, construction, etc.

Since her divine protections consist of the Demi-God of Earth and the Demi-God of Mining, she's tailor made for this job.

Especially considering her future evolutions.

"Work hard! I believe in you, Eri."

"....Y-yes, I understand."

She swiftly turned her head away from me with a huff, a slightly distant attitude.

Not to mention that she's now carrying my child.

These tsundere tendencies are overwhelming.

Anyways.

Now that I've presented each of my core subordinates their tasks, all that's left is to assign the rest of the goblins to their respective Divisions.

Ahhh~ it looks like things are finally coming together, ey.

But before things get chaotic, I should set a few fundamental rules first.

For a barbaric place such as this, sophisticated laws aren't too suitable.

Hell, I'm talking to goblins anyway, who cares.

I looked around at the somewhat restless group of goblins who'd been sitting here listening to me speak for the past half hour.

Only their apprehension of my mysterious strength and the amount of 'prey' I presented them yesterday is keeping them still.

Although most of them might not understand the intricacies, I'll try to explain it in the easiest way possible.

The goblins' eyes widened as they broke out of their stupor.

"If you steal, you will have your hands cut off so that you may touch the possessions of others no longer."

A subtle gasp rang out.

"If you rape, you will be castrated and fed your own genitals so that you will have a taste of what it means to be violated."

They looked around at each other, their mouths agape.

"Of course, these laws are only to be enforced among our own kind. We aren't beasts who cannot distinguish between friend or foe. This is the next step toward civilization. Mercy can only be shown to those who are considered our kin—not to any others. Is that understood?"

An almost audible relief resounded.

They seemed to understand this much.

Or at least, the gist of it.

Despite that, I met the gaze of our dear Protagonist, Rou-kun.

Hmm. He seems to be somewhat 'shook'.

As if seeing something they can hardly understand.

'What kind of creature is he?'

'Why is he unique amongst the others?'

'Is he some kind of mutation?'

Something like that, right...….?

It's not too complicated, really.

The poor child probably hasn't found out about evolution just yet, so me and my eight cadres are an enigma.

Although he doesn't appear to think too much about it, it's been made abundantly clear after today's performance that I'm not an ordinary creature.

Honestly, the only reason I haven't killed him yet is because he seems fun to play with.

I was debating on whether to twist his neck in front of everyone to instill a bit of fear, but I decided against it.

As of now, I don't have much interest in him outside of his reincarnated status.

Making him into a shadow soldier later on may be entertaining though.

I have a feeling he won't be a generic one considering his abilities.

Hmmm...I wonder if it'd be fun to let him get close to those human girls who're soon to come before stealing them one by one without him knowing.
