Chapter 9: Felix moving nearby, Lilia tries but fails to bring me down.

The morning light shines through all the windows on the wall, knocking is sounding at my door. I get up and open the door. Nathalie tells me that breakfast is ready and gives me the room key. I hurry and get dressed. Before I head downstairs, I lock the door. I just don't feel comfortable with Felix around.

As I sit down, I look around the table. I see Adrien in his normal spot to my right, I notice that my napkins a bit moved, Felix is across the table, at the head is Gabriel, and Ameilie is to Gabriel's right. I look to Adrien to see if Felix had tried to sit in my seat and get a nod of confirmation that he had.

"Good morning, Maryanne," Amelie says, murdering the name.

"Ma'am, it is Marinette," I correct her as carefully as I can.

"Sorry, Marinette," Amelie says correctly.

"Good morning to you as well, Ma'am."

"Great, you are trying to win my mother over," Felix harshly announces.

"Felix," Amelie warns. Gabriel looks quickly over to Amelie in shock. "Sorry about him, Marinette. I don't have much control over him."

"It is okay, Ma'am. I have no idea why but he seems to have it out for me already," I try to assure her.

"Aren't you so sure of yourself," Felix rudely hisses. I just look at Amelie. She nods. Gabriel and her both get up and leave. "God, just because we are moving near by soon means I have to go to school with the nub. Adrien, how about you and your father actually tell her how you really feel."

Adrien doesn't say anything. I look over to Nathalie and she confirms my worries. Felix will be living here while their new home is being furnished and prepared.

"Adrien, I finished my dress for the fashion show. Well, I still have to try it on," I say. Both Nathalie and him look up at me.

"Did you get any sleep last night?" Adrien asks with worry. Felix's eyebrow quirks up.

"No, not really. I am okay though. I swear I will catch up tonight," I know I am only helping Felix find things to tease me about.

"If you say so," Adrien looks at Nathalie. "At least you are eating breakfast today."

Soon, we get into the car along with Felix. Nathalie gets out and opens the door to my side. She helps me out. Felix gets out behind Adrien on the other side. I walk behind the car and meet up with Alya and Nino.

"Dudette, dude, what is he doing here?" Nino asks. Both Adrien and I give him the looks that says that will be explained later.

"Hey, you are Alya, right?" Felix gains a glare from Nino and Adrien. I just grab her and drag her towards the class. "Marinette, you aren't being nice."

I know he is smirking, "She has a boyfriend, she could careless about you. And all you have done is be rude to me."

Alya looks over to me. I smirk. We sit down and Felix sits next to the perfect other half of him, Lila. She instantly sees that he and I don't get along. I really hate Lila. She gets up and wanders towards me.

"So, I hear that you are working on a few fashion projects. How are you holding up? I mean, you did collapse yesterday. I guess becoming a fashion designer isn't in your future," Lila coldly says. A smile spreads across her face.

"Well, if that is what you think, I guess I won't have you come over today. I was going to do a final fitting for you. I figured that you would look cute in a dress for the fashion show with Adrien. I went beyond, but if that is how you think I can always fit it to Nathalie. I was planning on making her one and Gabriel if they wanted. I was just trying to be nice. I am ahead of schedule and I am going to take on a few more designs. I figured it would be nice of me to make you one. It would be cheaper than buying one. Kagami and Luka have outfits now. I finish pretty quick if I like to. So if you still want to announce to the world that I am not fit for the designer world, then make sure not to come over today. If you want to save a few bucks, come on over," I reply. Only thing is I am actually telling the truth. "I even made something for Felix."

The whole class laughs, they know that I probably actually did go beyond. Alya smirks as she puts her phone down. Oh, did she just film me? I grab for her phone. She takes of around the room; I chase after her. Soon, we break into laughter along with most in class. I think you know the two exceptions. I walk over to Chloe and hand her a piece of paper, telling her that her final fitting can be today or tomorrow. She nods and signs 2D, meaning today.
