What I imagined...

She was a girl with some mental difficulties and some misfortune. She was of 2 months when she had an accident. Her mother took care of her, but she too could stay with her for a few years. Her elder sister 'Rebecca' looked after her, but she too left few years after her mother, leaving lot of mysteries behind. She was 11, when she ran away from her father, her house, but she could never run away from some memories, some mistakes, some flaws which she wanted to run from. She met some people who gave her support, gave a new color, but still she couldn't tell them about her dark past, even if she wished. She fell and collided with someone who saved her from falling, mixed her up in his own. Brought her out from bad memories, adopted her all mistakes, and ended her flaws. Gave her the moments she was happiest, also gave her the moments she was saddest , the moments she lived the most. But what if she comes to know that, those moments in which she was alive the most, she never lived !!

She need to be cured.

Before going on his duty, Ralph went to meet the doctor, under whom her treatment was ongoing, in the hospital. He stepped inside the doctor's cabin, "Morning , Doctor."

"Ah ! Morning, Mr. Cooper", replied Doc. Carter. "Please, have a seat."

He seated on the chair asking him," What happened to her?"

In reply Doc. Carter asked him back," Do you know her, personally? "

"Yeah, I know her. "

Doc. asked again," Do you know she had a head injury? "

He replied nodding, "I know. She was about 2 months when the accident took place."

"Hmm.", keeping his both the elbow on the desk Doc. ask," So, can you tell whether she was treated ? To know her condition appropriately, we have to look out the old records."

"Her parents were my friend, she got some sort of treatment but that couldn't be completed because of some problems in her family." Then he ask," What happened to her exactly? "

"Look". Keeping his elbows down Doc. Carter explained, "I am not a psychiatrist, As far I could understand. You know, there are some parts of our brain, which manages our different feelings and manage memories."

He nod leaning forward.

Doc. Carter continued," A part called Amygdala, that processes fear, triggers anger and motivates us to act and their is another part attached to it called Hippocampus which influence a person's memories as well as their ability to form new memories."

"Hmm ", he tightened his brows in consideration.

"That both part of her brain are damaged",Doc. added.

"Does that injury causing her faint ?"He got tensed. "Is she have some kind of mental issues ? "

"Unfortunately I have to say Yes, Mr.Cooper"

"Can you please explain briefly, I mean what kind of issues ?"

"Ahm !" Doc. Carter clear his throat. "On some of her feelings like -Fear, sadness, anger, She had no control because of which she gets scared or nervous or angry or sad over tiny things, which are usually normal for normal person. She panics and even get depressed on little mistakes."

The more he was knowing about her the more he was worried about her.

"When she worry or fear a bit, her hippocampus stop working and she fail to form new memories, she forgot what she going through and sometimes extreme fear or anxiety lead her to faint." added Doc. Carter. "You were telling, there were some of problems in her family, that played a negative role for her. She must have been having panic attacks, that would have been ignored and now she is suffering from panic disorder too." Then he asked," She must forgot, sometimes? "

"I don't know about that." He answered.

"Ok !". Thinking for a while again Doc. Carter said, "Don't ignore her condition, this time. She needs to be cured. That all I know for now, to know more about her condition we have to examine her properly. There maybe many more problems she might be facing. My advice to you is, you must consider her as a mental patient, she's not a normal child. She might harm anyone if she gets extremely angry."

Ralph silently was listening to him keeping his sight on desk and began to think about the last conversation he had with her. Doc. Carter got confused on not getting any reaction from him, he lean his head to the table and looked at his blank face, "Where you listening me, COP ?"

"Hmm.." coming back to reality he replied. "Okay ! I understand what you are saying but I can only take any decision after talking to her"

"She is only 11, Only you have to decide that. COP. If she doesn't then make her do that."

After keeping his lips straight for a bit he replied, "I'll inform you later. I will."

"Ok."

" Can I take her home, now. Can't I? "

'Yeah ! Ofcourse, you can. " agreed Doc. Carter.

" Any last min advice!" He asked getting off the chair.

"Just make sure, there shouldn't be any such thing in front of her which cause trouble or fear her."

"Alright. I'll make sure. Thank you, Doctor". Lost deeply in thoughts, he with heavy feet walk to the girl ward.

The nurse was still beside her, they weren't talking a bit but only staring at each other's faces , in tiresome way.

"How are you? " asked Ralph as he stepped in.

"aa... I a-am fine." she replied.

Seeing someone other their, The nurse immediately walked out from there as a bird found her cage open.

"You have been discharged. Do you wanna come with me, home ?"

"Hm." She whispered.
