44 44. Death 2.

"You think I'll just let it slide?" I ask. "That I'll be able to trust you since you said trust me?"

Death frowns, "An eternal binding then."

"I dont know what that is. I'm still going to absolutely beat your ass when I can so you can expect it too. These fists have no gender discrimination." I tell her with a fiery look.

"An eternal binding is a heavenly binding vow, it cannot be broken, or even my soul will be destroyed, its enforced by the laws of the universe not even the soul stone could break it." she explains.

"I dont trust you, invite the Phoenix here." i state.

She frowns at that.

Soon the phoenix arrives and looks pissed.

"Explain what an eternal binding is." I request.

"Its essentially a marriage vow our father placed for higher beings to bind themselves to each other for all eternity. Not to be taken lightly." The pheonix states with narrowed eyes.

"I Death, Hereby invoke the eternal binding and claim Ryan Grim as my Husband and me as his Wife, I promise him my eternal love and loyalty, that I shall never lay with another without his explicit permission or do anything that would harm him to my knowledge, without his permission." She goes on for about 20 minutes as massive golden chain materialize from her chest linking up to me.

Meanwhile the pheonix listens closely for any kind of deceit or trickery.

As death finishes the oath takes hold.

I had also listened for any kind of loophole but couldn't find shit.

"She didnt use any loopholes she used the oath father designed." Pheonix says in slight shock.

"I see, so she's my wife now huh?" I ask confused.

"Yes, she is bound to you. If she betrays you in any way her soul will shatter." Pheonix states.

"Kinda hefty price dont you think?" I ask death.

"I've lived so long even something like this isn't enough to deter me. I want to see something new!" She states.

I nod my head. "Don't dodge!" my fist whips out at high speed and smashes right into her face blasting her off into the distance.

"Ah I feel so much better with that off my chest." I let out a happy sigh.

Death appears in front of me with a pout but looking perfectly fine. "I marry you and the first thing you do is punch me in the face."

"The bad blood had to be let out." I shrug.

She just glares at me for a second.

"Hey Pheonix, if you do the same thing as your sister I could spoil you in front of her." I smile as the pheonix brightens up. Death just let's out a gloomy aura.

Soon the Phoenix bursts I to oath claiming herself as my wife and reciting the eternal binding locking herself to me.

Bingo, two primal entities are mine.

"Now you mentioned wanting me to be your host?" I ask.

Death nods eagerly.

"Fine, but only so I can keep an eye on you, also you said you would grant me weapons and fix my orb?" I ask.

"Wouldnt you rather make your own weapons though? It seems you like doing things yourself so how about I give you Uru and you create your own equipment?" Death asks making a bar of golden ore appear in front of my which I quickly analyze.

"This is true." I nod.

"However I can teach you things, like martial arts, lost magics, that kind of stuff and if you need any help with something you can just ask me." She says calmly.

"Me too!" Pheonix pipes up.

"That works, I like to enjoy my day to day life though so unless it's something truly important I probably won't ask. But learning magics and martial arts sounds good." I nod.

"Good now absorb this." Death says floating a gray seed over. "Its my death energy and I'll be able to access your mind like pheonix."

I just shrug and put it In my chest and feel a link connect. I can let things through but if someone tries to force it nothing happens.

"Now what did you want to see me for?" I ask.

"At first I wanted you to rescue my herald, Hela, currently she is trapped in helheim by that meddling old fool Odin. But then it turned into a test of your worthiness for my hand. You passed splendidly." Death says.

"So you want me to save Hela, and in return basically become and enemy of asgard?" I ask.

"Pretty much."

"Ah well I guess I'm in." I shrug.

"You could probably conquer Hela too while your at it." Death whispers in my ear.

Yeah Hela is pretty hot not gunna lie.

"Alright you can revive me now. I'll go rescue your little herald." I say before I appear back in my lab and catch myself from stumbling.

"Master your vitals stopped and you died for a second. Cause is unknown." Legion informs me.

"Yes I know, thank you Legion." I stretch myself and check my body over. I can feel pheonix and death inside my mind linked to me.

Inside my mind area.

"You know it's not over right?" The pheonix asks. "He holds a grudge pretty seriously."

"I got carried away." Death sighs. "I just wanted to test him but it seems I went a little too far. His growth potential is monstrous, as soon as he died he became immune to death I couldn't kill him again even if I wanted. He was also adapting to combat with only his soul."

"Had he not learned something he more than likely would have kept going so you better consider yourself lucky." pheonix says. "You are lucky you didnt threaten his loved ones or I'm sure your ending wouldnt be nice."

Death shivered slightly, that was one thing she absolutely refused to do even as a joke, she got chills just thinking about it.

"However you let hin realise his soul and loved ones are his weak spot so he might be lenient." Pheonix says.
