18. School.
"Wanda today I want you to read that magic book I gave you. Once you get basic control over your powers I'll ask the professor to let you go to school okay?" I tell the girl who nods. "Laura, today you'll be taking some test with Miss.Monroe that way we can see where you are in your education okay? If you do good and behave I'll take you out for ice cream with Wanda, I'm sure you'll love it."
She nods eagerly as I give her a head pat.
Downstairs in the kitchen I pour us some lucky charms before sitting down and enjoying a nice quiet breakfast.
After breakfast I pass Laura to Storm and head for my car. However only Jean and Rogue are following me.
Kitty heads over to Scott's car and gives me a smirk.
I just raise my eyebrow and pull out my phone before turning my radio on.
"TOOO THE WINDOOOOOWWW TO THE WALL! TIL THE SWEAT DRIPS DOWN MY BALLS!" I Bob my head and skrt skrrt right out of the drive way with a wink.
Luckily this world still had songs I knew.
I pull right into the school and park the car.
Surprisingly someone was already there waiting.
Duncan, the kids whose nose I broke and teeth I knocked out yesterday. Bandages in his face, black eyes, and a tooth gap a mile wide.
I step out of my car and lock the doors after Jean and Rogue exit.
He glares at Jean bitterly before turning to me.
"I justh wanted too thay thankths for helping me yetherday." He lisps at me through the tooth gap and swollen lips.
Ah I think I broke a rib trying to hold back my laughter. "No problem man. It's what anyone would do." I tell him with the straightest face possible.
Behind me both girls are giggling profusely.
He quickly walks away red faced in embarrassment not even bothering to ask about his wallet he lost.
However he wasn't the only visitor I would having this morning.
"Nice ride new kid!" Pietro was suddenly leaning on my car.
"You have two fucking seconds to get the fuck off my car before you wind up worse than him." I point towards duncan.
"Heh as if you could catch..." My hand was around his throat before he finishes that sentence.
I picked him up off the ground and physically removed him from my car before moving him closer and whispering in his ear.
"You are currently in a life or death situation. You see I'm not like Xavier and his crew, I see you for exactly what you are. A threat and a terrorist, your garbage father is no better. If I meet you or your squad in a cold dark alley or all alone you can bet your ass I'll snap your fucking neck and make you nothing more than a cold dead memory. Do I make myself clear?" His face is starting to turn blue at this point so he quickly nods. I drop him on the ground and he gasps for breath. "And dont fucking touch my car. If anything happens to it you wont need to worry about anything else because I'll come find you."
He quickly vanishes in panic but my eyes and head follow him the entire time much to his horror I even make a throat cutting action.
"Man I'm going to have to wash my car again to get the slime of doucebag off of it." I mutter rubbing my car with my sleeve after he is gone.
The rest of the school day was spent normally, no more visits from the brotherhood. Quicksilver probably informed them of my warning. Some looked cocky but still chose to walk the other way when they saw me.
As for killing them? They are walking threats, what do we do with threats? We get rid of them.
Right now they are just petty thieves and crooks. But sooner or later...
Kitty would also occasionally glare at me in the hallway, but I just blew her kisses and her cheeks turned red and she rushed off.
She still didn't ride home with us.
I had also gotten a couple of text from Laura and Wanda during the day which I happily responded too and made sure they were doing what I asked them to.
Soon school indeed without issue and I was able to head home with Rogue and Jean.
Laura and Wanda were already waiting for me at the house.
"How did you do on your tests Laura?" I ask.
"Good! I completed them all." She says happily.
"Thays great. Let me go ask Miss.Monroe how you did on the tests then we can go and get ice cream." I pat her head before going into the mansion and dropping off my book bag in my room.
"How about you Wanda?" I ask the girl.
"I read about half of the first book you gave me." She says with a smile.
"Good. Write down any questions you have and I'll make sure to answer them the best I can or ask the ancient one." I tell her.
Apparently Laura did very well on her tests, pretty much high school level, however she lacks common sense and some other normal kid things. She knows martial arts and apparently how to assinate people. So I basically have a little killer who acts childish. How scary.
"Well then I guess we can go and get ice cream now. Jean, Rogue, do you two want to go with?" I ask.
The both nod and Rogue calls shotgun. Can't exactly have her squeezed into the back, might cause an accident with her powers.
A quick drive to the burger stop and we all have milkshakes then it's off to the carwash to get the douchebag dust off my car and relax.
Seems the girls are also fond of the car wash as it's so relaxing.
