"Yuki"

I saw Asuma calling for me as I was in a bad mood thanks to the Konoha council, I'll make sure those two disappear if they try to intimidate me one more time.

"You look like you're in a bad mood, do you want to go out and eat, its my treat."

"What's the occasion?"

"Do you really think there has to be an occasion whenever someone needs to treat you?"

"Well."

"Forget it just follow me and eat."

I just nodded and didn't say anything else, unbeknownst to me who was blindly following him we ended up at Ichiraku where I ordered the same thing, he didn't ask me questions as I continued to eat.

"So what happened?"

"The Konoha council is pressuring me to be the Hokage, they said they'll give it to me immediately if I agree to be their pawn."

"Can't say I didn't expect that, so what are you gonna do?"

"If they try anything to me or to anyone I am close with, I'll have to say sorry in advance."

"Well even Dad had some troubles with the council, so what are you planning to do right now?"

"Nothing."

"Care to come with us on a mission?"

"Sure, as long as Yamato-sensei comes, but I doubt he can since he's going to be busy rebuilding the village."

Asuma laughed as he knew it was probably true and that Yamato right now was probably supplying wood for the reconstruction efforts.

"You know that he's busy right? I'll inform him later, I'll pick out an easy mission so you and my team can let out some steam, and I'm saying this in advance, its not that type of steam I forbid you from letting loose 'that' kind of steam."

"I'm not a pervert, besides we're too young for that."

"Good."

"I'll be waiting, so when do you think we'll be taking up the mission?"

"When I find easier missions, for now there aren't any thanks to the attack, but they'll be back by the time the new Hokage is in place."

"Alright, thanks Asuma-nii, I have to go somewhere else now."

"Take care, and tell Kurenai if you see her that I gave you food"

I just nodded, I wondered why he wanted me to tell her the last part, probably extra brownie points but alright, I wanted to go to where Karin and Fu was, I told them to move in together and they happily agreed.

When I arrived at their apartment, it wasn't huge but it was enough for the two of them to live, the two of them looked at me while they were cooking?

"Yuki! What are you doing here."

"Just checking up on you two."

"We're fine, I haven't sensed anyone."

Karin told me, she was alert 24/7 ever since she had lived her in Konoha and I'm glad the council didn't want to do it.

"Well since the both of you are fine I'm going now."

"Wait! Do you want to eat with us?"

"I just ate so I'll just have a small portion I guess."

Karin nodded and continued cooking while Fu helped, I was thinking where would the two get money, I know Karin was given small funds by the Old Man, Fu as well, but now he's gone, guess its time to hunt some rogue-nin at night.

"You guys sure did improve from last time."

"If it wasn't for Ino it wouldn't have turned out like a black blob like last time."

"No I'm sure it would have still turned out like a black blob last time, I told you it was a great thing to buy the cook book Karin-nee."

I ruffled Fu's hair as she gave me a silly smile while Karin pouted, I only took a small portion, and I was surprised it tasted better.

"Well?"

"It's good enough."

"Now I don't have to worry about buying ramen all the time!"

Fu continued to eat as Karin began eating as well, I just looked at the two and after a short while I left them as they said they wanted to train, I already told Karin to teach Fu some basic ninjutsu.

"I'll see the two of you around."

I smiled before they waved goodbye at me, I sighed, I was still pissed about the Konoha Council, specifically those two old geezers, sooner or later.

As I walked, I walked aimlessly, it was the thing I would always do when I wanted to relax, I would go where my feet would go, Konoha was big and I always am amazed that every time I do this I end up some place new.

It was annoying to say the least but I was glad I had nothing left to think in Konoha, safe to say this place was now pest free, unless I count the council but I doubt they'd actually do it.

It was refreshing after walking with nothing in mind, I just let my feet guide me, it was until I heard someone call me and stopped.

"Yuki?"

I stopped, and looked at where the voice came from, I saw it was Ino and her parents, I just smiled and waved at them, right now I was conflicted whether I should go there, so I just stood where I was, but Ino was talking with her parents.

Inoichi and Ino's mother nodded, eventually Ino came to me, we both looked at her parents waving at us as they left, she then looked at me and smiled.

"Why?"

"Do I need a reason if I want to spend my time with you?"

"What about your parents."

"We had just finished eating and its been a long time since they were finally alone so I grabbed the opportunity."

"Are you sure you want to follow me? I'm just gonna walk around and do nothing today."

"Like I said Yuki, do I need a reason if I want to follow you?"

"Well if you put it that way I can't say no."

I pinched Ino's cheeks and held her hand as we just walked together, for the duration of the week she just kept talking and I just kept listening, even I was surprised of what she knew about the shops.

"Ino and Yuki!?"

As we were looking at accessories in the shop we had found we were suddenly called out, we turned around and saw it was Sakura, before I could say anything, Ino smugly asked her bestfriend.

"Is there a problem Sakura?"

"Tha-Tha!"

From holding my hand she immediately hugged my arm and pressed her face on it and smiled at Sakura, teasing her, I just chuckled and looked at them.

"Where's Sasuke? I thought you'd be at an advantageous position since your teammates with him."

"He said he was busy."

Sakura looked kind of sad but its not my problem, everyone had their own fair share of problems and if she really wanted to meddle in Sasuke's life she had to realize that she had to do more.

"Oh, well was there anything you wanted to say or ask Sakura?"

"Can you teach me how?"

"What do you mean how?"

Sakura came closer to us, she was turning red perhaps ashamed of what she was about to ask.

"Come on Ino, you know."

"Oh you mean this?"

She showed our hands in front of her and she nodded, Ino laughed while I just chuckled as I continued to watch the scene.

"You know Sakura, you could think of any plan and it would work normally, but, there's one thing that you forget."

"What is it?"

"The guy has to like you."

I said it and Ino pinched at me but smiled right after.

"Of course you have the option to make him fall for you but that is significantly harder especially considering Sasuke's attitude right now, the best you can do is get stronger so he won't think you're a burden, rather he would think you're actually trying to help him lighten his burden."

I just smiled and didn't say anything else, Sakura fell into deep thought after my words, we then immediately left not wanting her to bother us anymore.

"Hey Yuki."

"What is it?"

"Does it also apply to me?"

"No, but you can apply it to yourself if you want to be a better Kunoichi or be the next head of the the Analysis Team in Konoha."

"I'll take your word for it then!"

"If you're doing it to impress me don't, I'm already impressed by how you're trying your best to get what you want."

"What do I want then hmm?"

"Isn't it me?"

She smiled and pinched my waist again, but she didn't deny it, we continued walking together and maybe I was glad my head got cleared and I could think clearly again as I forgot about everything while I was with Ino who continued to be acting like a tour guide.

After who knows how many streets we've walked and how many hours have gone by I could feel she was tired as she finally stopped talking.

"Wanna go home?"

"Mm."

I stopped in front of her and kneeled, she chuckled and immediately placed herself, right now I was carrying her as she placed her arms around my neck and placed her face on my shoulder.

'Still developing.'

I shook my head as I felt something soft on my back but that's for another time, I walked around where there were only a few people who could see us or none at all as to let her sleep, when I finally arrived at her home.

"Hey wake up, we're here."

She immediately got down and looked at me, I just smiled and waved, but I felt something soft landed on my cheeks, then Ino immediately ran.

'Yeah, I'm not gonna let anyone destroy Konoha unless its me.'
