"Let me start, what do you like and dislike."

Contrary to my expectations we were in the park where there were children running around, elderly playing shogi as well.

There different people, and it didn't make us stand out since people respect the Shinobi so they just let us be.

"I like peace, I dislike war."

"Who do you like?"

"There are tons of people I like, I like people who like peace I dislike people who like wars."

"So you differentiate people whether they like Peace or War?"

"Yes."

"Do you think it is currently peaceful Yuki-kun?"

"No, in Konoha while it is peaceful externally, I doubt it is the same internally."

"What made you say that?"

Yamato looked at me full of surprise and questions as we continued playing.

"Its a gut feeling."

"Alright, do you want to be the Hokage Yuki?"

"No, too much paperwork and if I would ever have a family I don't want to split my time, and even then if I could use the shadow clones I still don't want to think about working while I'm with my family."

"You really are a family man aren't you Yuki-kun?"

"In the end they will be all we have."

"I see."

"What do you think Sensei? Should I aim to be the Hokage?"

Yamato shook his head.

"You have the potential but I don't see you becoming one, not because you don't want to but I believe you would rather be with your family."

He then took a deep sigh.

"I understand you too much Yuki, I'm a fellow orphan as well, and I value my relationships."

"If there is no one else reliable I will do it, but, everyone must understand that I will put my family first before the village."

I then looked at the surrounding people who were all smiles, I took a deep sigh and looked at Yamato.

"I do not want to be the second Yondaime where his attention was split between village and family inevitably losing his life and family in the process."

"That is true and I can't blame you if ever you did, is that the reason why you never wanted to join the ANBU?"

"Partly, while I would never betray the village I would also not sacrifice my family for the village."

I wanted to say that I don't want to be like Itachi I refrained from doing so.

"I think I now have a better understanding of you Yuki-kun"

"Family comes above first for me Yamato-sensei, and I win."

He nodded, we then restarted the game as we exchanged questions and answers the whole day.

"You never questioned why you're alone."

"I do but I'll trust the Hokage just this once."

"I'll tell you ahead of time, its the compromise, He wanted you to be an ANBU but didn't want you to gain attention from a certain someone."

"I see, so he put me on a one man team."

"While its uncommon but thanks to your class its a good excuse."

"I see, but why?"

"Like I said earlier you have the potential to be Hokage, he just wants to test your character, now I'll see you tomorrow."

"Good bye Yamato-sensei."

We parted ways as we were to meet at the same place at the park tomorrow.

When I was walking home I saw Hinata walking with Kiba and Shino and Kurenai.

"Yuki-kun."

Kurenai called me when she saw me, she was my pseudo-aunt, she said I was her training dummy for when she has a child she had a bit of practice ahead of time.

I could say I was practically raised by the Jonin of her generation.

"Nee-san."

"I told you to not call me that publicly when I'm on active duty."

"I understand!"

"Are you going home? Take Hinata-chan with you."

"I will accomplish your task!"

Kurenai nodded as she left with Kiba and Shino, when we were finally alone there was an eerie silence.

"How was your day Hinata-chan?"

I looked at her as I waited for her.

"It was tiring, what about yours Yuki-kun?"

"It was exhausting as well, shall we?"

She nodded and walled up to my side, usually she would wall behind me but right now she was at my side.

"Do you wanna hold my hand?"

I asked since when we were kids I always held Hinata and Ino's hand when the three of us walked home, we stopped when we were around nine to ten.

I held out my hand to her and she quickly took it as we walked, the walk was silent which I liked.

When we arrived she let go, I didn't say anything since.

"Hello Uncle."

I smiled at Hiashi who was staring at me, he just nodded while Hanabi jumped over to me and I caught her.

"Yuki-nii!"

After pinching her cheeks I let her go, she along with Hinata entered the compound but before I could leave I felt a strong grip on my shoulder.

"U-uncle?"

"Thank you."

"No- problem?"

He nodded and let go of me, I wonder what had changed? I should probably not think of it.

It was a new day, today was where everyone was going to get their D-rank missions but.

"Wake up."

I kicked Kakashi's ass after I ate and prepared the meal, I know he was like this but he had to have some decency for his own team every once in awhile.

He didn't wake up as expected, time to bite the bullet.

"He's asleep? Now where did he put that book of his I really want to read it."

When I turned around I felt that he had begun moving, I could feel his arm on my neck as he tried choking me, I looked at him and smiled wryly.

"You're too young for that Yuki."

"Now you're awake when I try to read Icha Icha huh."

"As much as I want you to bask in the glory of Icha Icha sadly you're too young."

"When I turn into an adult make sure you give it to me."

"No."

"That's why you're still a single dog."

He let go of me as he laughed, without missing a beat he returned to his bed without any care of his squad, I rolled my eyes and left.

When I arrived at the park Yamato was already there, he waved at me, he said will be taking the liberty of what tasks we will undertake for two months and if I satisfactorily complete it he would shorten it to a month instead.

Can't say I don't like it but I wonder what D rank missions I'll get since I've always been curious.

"So what will be our first mission Sensei?"

"We're going to be nanny's for a local orphanage for boys."

"Oh."

"I thought you'd be disappointed like every other genins."

"It could have been worse but I'm fine with it."

"Right, no shadow clones."

"I don't care, I'm fine with it."

Yamato smiled as the two walked together to go their mission.

I cried to Yamato-sensei as he laughed at me while he was carrying a small child and feeding it with milk, he was responsible for the baby's.

"Let me use clones please! Its mental torture!"

"And here I thought you were fine with it."

"But!"

"There are around 20 boys here Yuki-kun and two of us, consider this as a training for when you have a child."

I gulped as there was a child grabbing me by the knee's and one on my head that I had to hold, I didn't want him to fall.

I sighed and had to suck it up, I was just like them before I learned mother was inside me, I took a deep breath, they all looked at me curiously, most of them were from ages 1 to 4.

"Do you guys wanna hear a story?"

The children who heard about a story was about to be told, they quickly gathered towards me.

"Onii-san quick tell us!"

"Tell us!"

They gathered as they all sat obediently, damn, the more I look at them the more sad I get, these kids basically don't have anyone to rely upon and even their future is unknown.

I was lucky from the start since I had memories on who to hold on to and these kids don't and even then.

"Do you guys know what a rabbit is?"

They all nodded and right there and then, I bullshitted a made up story, I don't know how long I was talking but I could see they were all sleepy after an hour, and after that their matron came back who brough food shook her head as we had already carried them onto their beds.

"A rabbit huh."

Yamato came to me as we had finished the mission.

"Its my favorite animal Sensei."

"Why?"

"Because its cute?"

"I thought you were going to answer since it could give birth a lot."

"Am I a pervert?"

"According to Kakashi, but I guess not."

"Damn him!"
