2 Chapter 2

I shake my head and get up from the ground. What does he mean by the Dragon of Infinity? Oh, well. I will search for that name later. For now, I need to check something. I look around and see a puddle of water on the ground. I kneel and see my new body.

"At least I am more handsome than in my previous life."

Oh well.

Now… check the gift Slaont gave to me. When I arrive here, I feel a rush of knowledge gets inside of me. I have the power called [Grace], and it is powerful.

[Grace] is not a power but a blessing; I have four of them. The first grace is called [Flash]. This lets me move at incredible speed to the point that I look like teleporting. Not only that, but this also allows my mind to think at an astonishing speed. This one makes me a knock-off of Flash from DC.

The second one is [Ocean]. This is a unique one. This let me create a dimension filled with infinite water to trap my enemy. Not only that, but I can also summon water from this dimension to attack my enemy and even turn my body into liquid.

The third one is [Tornado]. This is a simple one. This lets me control the wind and turn them into a violent windstorm. Depending on the situation, I can manipulate the wind to be sharp or blunt. Lastly, I can use this grace to fly at high speed.

The last one is [Sunshine]. This is the most powerful one among the four graces. This grace is unique, making me more powerful as the sun rises. When it reaches its peak, I can technically have unlimited power. Sadly, it can damage my body if I'm not careful, as the power of the sun is too volatile.

Depending on how I train my body, I can increase the power of [Flash], [Ocean], and [Tornado]. Sunshine will not grow stronger, but I can absorb more power from the sun if I'm stronger. I can move faster and reach the speed of light if I train my [Flash] for a long time.

I can create a dimension the size of the planet if I train my [Ocean] long enough.

Or I can create a wind strong enough to cut the planet into two if I train my [Tornado] long enough.

As long as I train, I can get more powerful. I'm not a power-hungry person, but I have a feeling this place needs me to be powerful if I want to survive. I will think about it later. I don't want to have my second chance at living to be full of training montages.

I shake my head and look around for a second.

"Now… Where should I go?"

I take a deep breath and activate [Tornado]. Huh. I can feel there is some kind of slot inside of me. I cannot access the other three graces when activating one. Well, that is unfortunate, but I cannot complain about it.

I take a deep breath and feel the wind around me. I control them and let them take me to the sky. I go high into the sky and look around. I don't know how but somehow, my eyes can see into the distance.

I can see a city a couple of kilometers away from me. I nod and go higher before flying toward the city. After flying for a minute, I slowly descend and land on the ground. I look at my clothes and see that I'm wearing something modern.

Well, at least Sloant gave me the right clothing when he sent me here. I leave the forest and follow the road to the city. As I get closer, I can see this is a massive city. I can see many people driving cars and bicycles in and out of the city.

Wait! What about my ID?

I check all my pockets and stop when I feel something inside the pocket of my clothes. I take it out of my pocket and see it is a note.

After I read it, I can feel a rush of knowledge getting inside my head. I blink for a few seconds and think of a hole appearing in front of me. I quickly hide behind the tree and command the pocket dimension to arrive. A second later, what looked like a black hole appeared before me.

I put my hand into the black hole, and another rush of knowledge appears inside my head. It was a knowledge of what kind of items were inside my pocket dimension. There are the documents Slaont said. The other thing is money. There are two cards, debit and credit cards. The other is cash money, and surprisingly it is Japan Yen.

Well, I guess I need them. I look at the people and nod. Yeah, I'm in Japan.

I nod and take a deep breath. I get out of my hiding place and walk inside the city. I'm excited to explore this new world. Not only that, I have also been dreaming of going to Japan.

A small girl with golden hair and eyes runs away from the people who are chasing her.

"Get her!"

Her name is Kunou, and she is running for her dear life. It was a peaceful morning, but it changed when a group of seventy people ambushed her and her mother, who was enjoying the day in the park.

She doesn't know what happened, but she remembers the group leader saying something about Hero Faction and using her mother as a tool. She did not want that and started to scream at the intruder. However, it escalates when the human man orders his people to attack, and she witnesses her guard die in front of her to let her run away.

With a tear in her eyes, she released a blue fire at the enemy and watched in horror as her attack did not work.

"Got you!"

She starts to scream when one of them manages to catch her and pick her up by her leg. She keeps thrashing around and tries to escape, but the man catching her is stronger than her.

"You know… That is not how you handle a young lady."

She looks to the side and sees a young man with white hair and a strange marking on his forehead walk out of the alley. He is wearing a simple white shirt and white shorts. He eats the last ball of Takoyaki and smiles at Kunou.

This young man is Jordan. He decides to investigate when he feels an outburst of energy near him. So when he sees a group of men trying to catch a small girl, he is pissed. He hates molesters, especially the ones who target underage boys or girls.

His sister is one of the victims. She almost gets rap*d if not for him arriving just in time, the man taking off his sister's clothes. If not for his sister holding him back, he would have killed that man.

Since that day, Jordan has had a special hatred for molesters, rapists, and kidnappers. By the look of it, the group of people in front of him is in all that category.

"Who are you?! Go away! This is none of your business!"

"By the look of it, it is my business."

Jordan looks at the young girl, notices her tails, and knows he can use his ability in this fight. These people know about magic, which means he can go all out.

"[Flash]"

In the blink of an eye, Jordan appears in front of the man and punches him at the speed of sound. If not for his new body, his arm would be destroyed, but because of his new body, the man gets thrown away, and he catches the small girl.

"Are you okay?"

Jordan gives her a gentle smile while asking that question.

"E-En… W-Who are you?"

"My name is Jordan, and I am here to help you."
