Chapter 67: You Want My Wife's Body!

At the very beginning, when Li Yexing knocked down the armed personnel who broke in through the broken window and saw that unmarked black clothing, his heart sank. What he had been most worried about had happened.

Originally, after the Roples incident, Li Yexing thought that he should have faded out of the sight of the Black Umbrella, but after the Orianna incident, he was afraid that he had caught the attention of the Black Umbrella again. After all, Lilith followed him on board, and he couldn't guarantee whether there was any Black Umbrella personnel who noticed him at that time.

But now it seems that he may have been wrong. These guys seem to have mismatched equipment and poor combat capabilities, and they don't seem to be from the Black Umbrella.

In the second-floor lobby, Li Yexing met Avery, who was holding a hunting rifle and looked like he was going to kill someone.

"That group of scum, they've taken Miss," Avery said.

Li Yexing didn't really care about this... Okay, actually he cared quite a bit, but he just wanted to tease this butler who always made him uncomfortable.

Sure enough, when Avery saw Li Yexing's indifferent expression, he flew into a rage.

"You heartless mad dog! You know that Miss likes you, and now that she's in danger, how can you show such an indifferent expression?!" Avery sighed and said, "Forget it, I'll go get Miss myself."

As he spoke, he turned and went downstairs, but didn't take a few steps before he noticed that Li Yexing was holding a gun and following behind him.

"What are you doing?" Avery asked impatiently.

"I'm afraid you'll die, who will pay me my money?" Li Yexing said confidently.

"Then stick close, kid!" Avery's expression softened a little when he saw Li Yexing coming to help.

The two of them rushed out of the villa with their guns, and as the door opened, a cold wind blew straight into Li Yexing's bathrobe.

"Damn, it's a bit cold..." Li Yexing couldn't help shivering.

Ignoring Li Yexing, the butler with a rife ran ahead with a look of ferocity on his face. Li Yexing lowered his head and looked at his slippers, feeling a bit awkward.

"Wait for me, you old bastard!" He couldn't help shouting, but Avery showed no signs of stopping and ran at a breakneck pace.

"Dammit!" Li Yexing cursed, kicked off his slippers, and ran after Avery barefoot.

As they passed through the door and saw the servant's body lying on the ground, Avery's expression became even more furious.

"Backstabbing scum!" Avery cursed.

Li Yexing knew what he was thinking. The door had been silently opened, and it was obvious that this was a traitor who had been eliminated.

Running on the mountain road, Li Yexing felt his feet getting sore, but for him, the heartless mercenary, it wasn't a big problem at all. Even so, he couldn't help shouting "ouch, ouch, ouch" as he ran.

"Shut up, you're annoying!" Finally, perhaps tired of it, Avery shouted impatiently ahead.

"Fuck you, asshole! I'm here to help, how dare you talk to me like that?" Li Yexing cursed.

"You... You're just a dog that bites and won't let go!" Avery couldn't help but curse.

"I really don't understand why Miss Rita, the famous maid of the Griffith Family, would be willing to serve someone as stupid as you!"

"She just likes me, so what? Do you have a problem with that?!" Li Yexing responded, then his expression suddenly changed and he looked enlightened. "You're not interested in my Rita, are you, old man?"

"Don't treat me like one of your kind, you horny dog!"

Avery, who was running ahead, shouted, "Miss Rita, the maid of the Griffith Family, is famous for being both literate and skilled, known throughout the European noble circle. Even if she no longer works for the Griffith Family, she should not be serving a dog like you, the Lorena Family is in need of people right now. Coming to the Lorena Family, Miss Rita can shine even brighter!"

"Why are you talking about all this useless stuff?" Li Yexing loudly retorted from behind, "You just want my wife's body!"

"Nonsense! As the Lorena Family's butler, how could I have the same taste as you?"

"You're a despicable bastard!"

"You're talking nonsense!!!"

Two people were running along a mountain road, bickering with each other, when they finally spotted four men in black near the beach. One of the men was holding an unconscious girl which was Helen and trying to reach a small yacht at the shore.

Without a word, butler Avery raised his rifle and fired a shot. The bullet hit the head of the man holding Helen, causing him to fall to the ground and drop her.

"Miss!" the butler shouted, but Helen lay motionless on the beach.

The three other men who had already run past them turned back, and Li Yexing raised his hand and fired a shot, which grazed Helen's body and pierced the head of the man trying to pick her up.

"You almost hit Miss, you bastard!" the butler yelled angrily.

"Shut up, you old fart, watch closely!"

Li Yexing fired another shot, which blew off the head of the man who was trying to draw his gun.

However, just as the man was about to fall, the last black-clad man suddenly caught his body and used it as a shield. Li Yexing's bullet hit the body, and the man quickly picked up Helen from the ground, pointing his gun at her temple and warning, "Don't move! I'll shoot if you do!"

"Goddammit!" Avery frowned, looking anxious but afraid to fire his gun.

"Yes, that's right..." the black-clad man smirked and slowly backed away toward the yacht behind him, still holding Helen hostage. "That's it, don't shoot, that's it..."

"Are we really going to let that bastard take Miss away?" Avery muttered to himself, turning around to see that Li Yexing was holding his gun without aiming, pointing it at the distant black-clad man and Helen, with his finger slowly tightening on the trigger.

"Hey! You bastard, what are you trying to do?" Avery exclaimed in horror, reaching out to Li Yexing.

But at that moment, Li Yexing fired his gun. The bullet flew out of the barrel with a bang, passing through the air, brushing Helen's cheek, and accurately hitting the finger of the black-clad man holding the gun.

"AAAHHHHH!"

With a heart-wrenching scream, the gun fell to the ground, and the man knelt in pain, holding his hand with two missing fingers and howling. Without hesitation, Li Yexing fired three more shots, two in the chest and one in the forehead. With explosions of blood, the man fell straight down.

"Miss!"

Seeing the last man fall, Avery rushed to Helen, who was still lying unconscious on the ground. With the dust settled, Li Yexing put down his gun and let out a long sigh, sitting down on the ground.

"My foot... it hurts so much, dammit!"
