Chapter 14

Two weeks after break ended

Lena has 8th hour off so I have gotten in the habit of talking to her right outside my class till the final bell rings then walking into my class with a big smile on my face to annoy Mr. Gavens - Oh right I have Mr. Gavens again this year. Today we were writing a practice essay for a debate that we have in a few weeks. I was working on my essay and listening to Niall's "Heartbreak Weather" album when I saw someone enter the room out of the corner of my eye, I chose not to pay attention to it cause I had to write my essay. A second later I felt someone tap my shoulder so I looked up to see none other than Harry Styles.

"Hey haz, what are you doing here?" I whisper as I looked around the room to see every pair of eyes staring back at me.

"I have some news can we talk in the hallway?"

" Um yeah, is everything ok? Is it Ni is he ok? " I start to freak out as we walk out of the classroom.

"Niall is perfectly fine, everything is fine. It's good news..."

" Ok, so what's up then? " I ask getting a little happier and less nervous.

"I had lunch with your parents today."

" What? Why? " I asked really confused.

"Well do you remember when I told you that I had an idea right before you left," he asked and I nodded so he continued "Well I talked to both your parents and modest!... It took a lot of convincing on both sides but they both finally agreed."

"Well that's great, I guess, but what did they agree to?"

" Elly you are going to be my manager" when he said that I just started laughing, a lot.

"Harry I'm 17, I can't be your manager."

"Yes you can, you have basically been studying this since 2010 and for the first month Jeff will be training you."

"Are you fucking with me?"

"No".

" Holy... Wow... Your kidding" I stuttered.

"No I'm actually not, do you want me to call modest! so they can offer you the job themselves."

" No, no it's fine" I stood there stoned for a second then asked "when do I start? And am I moving or something because it might be difficult for me to manage you from here? If I am moving what am I going to do for school?"

"Technically you start next Monday but there is a premiere tomorrow that I thought you might want to go to, so you basically start tomorrow And yes you are moving in with me and you will do online school until you graduate." he finished.

"oh ok and What premiere?"

"Spiderman: car from home" Harry mumbled.

"What you kidding, when do we leave?"

"We have to leave for the airport right now actually."

" Oh ok, I guess I am going to go grab my stuff" I walked towards the classroom then turned around and said, "I am going to be your manager".

" I know, now go get your stuff".

"Ok," I said and walked back into the room.

I told Mr. Gavens that I had to leave and he said Ok, actually I think he was a bit happy about it, then I gathered my stuff and went to the back of the classroom to put back my computer. I plugged it in then heard a girl whisper to me "how the hell do you know Harry Styles?"

"He's a good friend of mine" I respond.

"Oh, well how did you meet him?"

"An internship I did, but I have to go I have a plain to catch," I said and walked out of the classroom.

Haz and I walked down the hallway then he said "so I lied we have a little bit of time before we have to leave so what do you want to do?"

"Well thank you then because you just got me out of class and we should go find Lena."

"Um ok where is she?"

"Library probably".

" ok let's go," Harry said.

We walked into the library and I imminently saw her sitting at a table alone on her phone. I motioned to for haz to follow me and he did, I walked back to her and tapped her on the shoulder and whispered "Hey common".

She turned around and saw Harry standing behind me, she got up grabbed her bag and we walked out of the library. When we were stood in front of the library Lena said "hi Harry it's good to finally meet you in person but shouldn't you be in London or something."

"Well right now I am supposed to be here picking up Elly then we are going to the airport, and do you want a ride home we have a little time before we have to go to the airport."

"um sure" and with that, we left the school with quite a few stares.

We got into Harry's rental car and Lena immediately asked "Where are you two going? Why? And for how long?"

" Well it's actually a lot more complicated than that and quite a long story," Harry said.

"Ok, do tell."

" Well, it started two weeks ago right before Elly left to come home. It really hard having to say goodbye because she is my best friend. When we were saying goodbye I had an idea but I would not tell her what it was because it was a long shot. So after a week of convincing management then a lunch of convincing her parents it is now official... Elly is now my manager and we are going to a premiere tomorrow".

"Wow, that's amazing Elly you got your dream job at 17".

"I know I am so happy right now!"

" Wait does this mean you have to leave? "

"Um yeah, I'm moving to London in a weak from Monday."

" I am really happy for you Elly but I am going to miss you. "

"I know I am going to miss you too but we will text and face time all the time, right?"

"Yeah, and what premiere are you going to?" she asked still disappointed that her best friend would be moving across the world.

"Spiderman: far from home."

"Really, does Niall know you are going to be seeing your celebrity crush?"

" wait who is your celebrity crushes? "

"Tom Holland and Zendaya," I say Nonchalantly. "But there just celebrity crushes nothing is going to happen to it plus I love Niall".

"I know you love Niall but he was also your celebrity crush and now look at him, he is your boyfriend," Harry remarked as we were pulling into Lena's driveway.

" I love Niall and nothing is going to change that".

"Yeah, yeah. Well, we need to start towards the airport 'm sorry Lena."

" it's fine have fun and send lots of pics. "

"Um'k," I said, "love you".

"Love you too," she said and jumped out of the car.
