1 In the Beginning...

The world was fading darker and darker to black. Joe did not want to die, at least not this way...

*20 Minutes Earlier*

A young man with delicate but refined features is walking through the wilderness while holding a bloodied rusted short sword that anyone could tell to be of poor quality, not even a ranked item.

Joe was not pleased to be in this dense forest but he had no choice, it was his only way to keep a roof over his head. When Joe decided to except the herb collection job from the alchemist guild he had not expected for it to be this difficult.

When he arrived at the edge of the forest there was nothing about so he assumed it to be safe, once he entered he felt a blockade be put up around him, even though Joe was only at the 1st Rank of Cultivation he had a keen sense for spiritual activity.

A snapping of a branch could be heard form his left so alrady on edge he prepared to take out his sword to fight whatever the creature was. As much as Joe would not like to admit, he was shaking just thinking about the monsters that lurked in these woods. He was pleasantly surprised when it just turned out to be a small rabbit with a seeming soft coat of fur. He stealthily approached this bunny expecting to make a few copper coins of of it's small pelt buy as soon as he got to close.

*CRUNCH*

He immediately backed away from the small rabbit but it was already to late, an 8ft long snake had bitten straight through the rabbit and part of his forearm as he went to grab it.

Screaming in pain he stabbed blindly in the direction of the serpent to find mayor resistence against his sword. When he went to pull the sword out he began feeling somewhat light headed from what he assumed to be a toxin from the snake venom.

He looked towards the Snake to see a diamond on its head and a eye socket that was gushing dark red blood. "Ahh, just my luck a 3rd rank diamond head rattle snake."

Joe began to run deeper into the forest as fast as he could but his vision was fading into darkness. Just as Joe was about to die from the venom he tripped over a fallen log and fell into a deep cave. He tried to look at his surroundings but it was too late, he felt his heart stop.

"Welcome to 'The System' " Said a deep and gravely voice in Joe's head. "You don't seem to be doing too well, let me lend you a hand"

Joe's body was quickly enveloped in a soft white glow. The seeped into every part of his body, from me his muscles to bones all the way to the cellular level Joe was being healed all at once.

"I think i've done enogh, time for me to go..." Said the voice. "Wait, what happend, what was all that noise" Joe shouted madly. Then a window appeared in his mind.
