"Here you go. More work," Ayan says, pushing towards us two plates full of marigolds.

"W-what are we supposed to do with them?" I groan. "We've been working for so long. I'm tired."

Rudy is quick to pick up a marigold and start playing with its petals. We all shake our heads at him.

"Emily has put up a list on the fridge of what all we're supposed to do once we are done wrapping the gifts. I chose the least tedious task. All we have to do is form garlands." He takes out needles and threads from his pocket. "Do you want to see the list? I don't think you'll like it very much."
