Chapter 8

Clouds like white puffs feathered by wind,

drifting across the morning sky.

The sun shines through gaps in a cloud mass, rays appear to shoot towards the ground, creating a beautiful picture.

In the distance,

On one side jagged mountain peaks rose above the early morning clouds.

On the other side a never ending vast forest covers the land into the horizon hiding the land from the bright sunlight.

A mist like a haze that slides over the landscape that obscure the view creating a atmosphere of mystery and uncertainty.

I hear wind whistling along the slopes, animal howls, rustling leaves, birds crys, water falling and burning embers nearby.

I felt a cold, dewy sensation against my skin and cold jagged rocks perking my feet.

I turned around and saw some embers burning in a large fire pit .The ground is fully made of rocks somewhat flat, forming a large square,this square is covered by mountains on two sides and a small wooden fence is blocking the rest.

Some fifteen caves were digged out in the mountain walls.A small waterfall coming down from high mountain at the side of the caves, going down the slope creating a small stream.

There were some bones piles at one side of square. Many stone bowls and other cooking tools made of stone,wood and bones scattered around.

Some animal skin and fur left for drying on large rocks.

As I was taking in this primitive and Ancient world,I heard some footsteps behind me.

From one of the caves I saw a woman walking towards me.

She was smiling at me. Her brown skin matched the brown of the mountains, causing her to blend in with the nature we stood in.

Her hair done in a sort of braids with some bones and she held herself with confidence,Red and white patterns smeared over her dark brown skin, long black hair that flowed past her round breasts, down to her waist and hips.

She wore a small, tan-coloured, grass top that only just covered her cleavage and a short, corded grass skirt that corresponded in colour to her top.

Closer and closer she came until their faces were only inches apart. Turning her head slightly, she sniffed at her.

"Good job Mina,you were able to keep up with the chief."

"You even woke up before him."

"Here take this and come with me."

The woman said to me in a unknown language.

Then she gave me a bowl full of some black liquid, grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the small waterfall.

As she was pulling me, I noticed that I was naked,I couldn't help but feel shy.But she didn't even showed any reaction at my nudity.

"Let's prepare you for the ceremony."She said something with happy tone in her voice.

As I was just going to ask her about my situation,as if someone heard my wish the thing I needed most right now appeared before me.
