Chapter 12

All ladies had black hair that flowed down to their waist and past their round breasts and hips. Each woman's body was covered by a small, tan-coloured grass top that only covered their cleavage and a short, corded grass skirt.

They are all very quiet,they brought some bowls of red, black and white paint with them.

They all sits around me started removing accessories from my hands,then they started painting my hands.

The cave is surrounded by a sacred & ritualistic aura,so I go along with whatever they are doing,I must complete the ceremony anyway.

The paint feels cold on my skin,first they started with white paint fully covering my hands from wrists to elbows of both my hands,then they use black paint to form some lines on white paint.

They do the same with my legs.

After completing their work on me,they turned to each other and started putting on the paint.

Now that I think about it I didn't focus on the paint on the lady before,she and one other woman have red lines instead of black.

This paint really looks good on all of them giving them a primitive tribal aura.

Well that's obvious now since I am in ancient primitive tribe.

I noticed that all of them have a mark on their left upper arm that I don't have,a black wolf between a triangle,maybe I will get it today.

The paint dries quite fast.

They brought some accessories made of flowers,feathers,leaf,vines etc; they again put some accessories on me along with some new ones along with a Tiara made of feathers & flowers and they themselves also wear some accessories and style their hair.

The noise of drums is getting louder and louder alongwith shouting of men.

One woman took a black fur coat and gently padded it around my neck.

I swallowed a mouthful of saliva,a nervous sweat dripped down from my face.I don't now why but I am starting to get nervous without any reason.

All the woman again surrounded me and started shouting something.

I could not hear what they were saying as cheers and drums began to roar outside as if to summon me forward.

Then all ladies like a unit started to walking towards outside and I alongside them.

Flames from the fire licked the sky. Among the chaotic sounds of feet slamming against rocks, screams, war cries, cheers, and chirps of excitement and praise all complimented the drums.

But when I swept my gaze around the scene was a little underwhelming,there were only ten to fifteen men outside,all showing their bare chest muscles only wearing some fur or leather skirts with teeth nakelaces ,causing all that commotion,but the festival continues as I walk out.

Decorated in feathers, wildflowers of the mountains and jungle surrounding them,

The ladies move with sensual grace and elegance, which only emphasised their natural beauty & curves.

Suddenly,The drums began to slow to a monotonous, shallow beat as the men broke from their circles and moved to side of the big square.

Many now stood upright, their eyes lingering on the biggest cave. Amongst the shadows, flickers of sun light that broke the darkness of the cave,now brought a figure carrying it into the light.

He was tall, his face painted in markings of red, white and black. Head held high; he walked with a natural dominance. White paint covered his brown body, and red markings of lines were painted over it as a second layer.

He had obviously cleaned up,he wore a leather skirt and a long fur coat,his bare chest & arms showing his strong and massive muscles.

He also wore a big teeth necklace around his neck, and upon his head a wolf skull sat with a long mouth,jagged teeth & a large arching bone on the side adding a dangerous vibe.

The wolf skull representing strength, survival and wisdom.

All men and women bowed their heads and gave small but clear nods of respect as their Chief passed them.

The Chief moved to my side. Looking down at me,he smiled and grabbed my arm.

Somewhat gently,he escorted me to a large stone platform that overlooked the tribe.

Before I had always been too distracted or busy to fully take in my surroundings.As usual,I didn't get much time to ponder before I was dragged down the steps of the platform,he stood at the front of the platform as drums beat rhythmically Looking over his tribe celebrating below, the man raised his hands high.

The drums slowed, and the small tribe looked towards the platform.Then in unison, the tribe charged toward the foot of the platform and formed a line and Nova started speaking.

"Today I Nova! the chief of the mountain wolf tribe will accept Mina as my mate."

Then the lady along with a handsome man carries a large bowl with burning flame in it and put it front of me and Nova.

Nova pulled out a smooth black stone needle from somewhere and pricks one of his finger and drips a blood drop into the fire first then hands me the needle.

Even if overwhelmed by all these events I know I have no other option,I have to do this.

So I didn't hesitate much and with shaking hands pricked my finger and drips a drop of my blood into the fire.

"May The Sun, and The Moon bless our union."

As Nova declare that I felt a sting on my left upper arm and grabbed my hand tight with my right hand.

The pain quickly goes away and I see a mark forming the same mark as other ladies.

Then Nova smiled at seeing the mark and declared

"The sun and The Moon have blessed our union."

The tribe erupts will cheers and blessings.

Nova suddenly grabs my hand pulled it up in the air and shouted

"Praise the sun!"

"Praise the moon!"

The tribe reapeted-

"Praise the sun!"

"Praise the moon!"

Then he pulled me to a throne made of animal bones and fur and sat there with me.
