Raven's rampage

Raven's spiritual pressure keeps rising until it reaches a climax. Luna breaths a sigh of relief. Luna felt like she was going to pass out if it had increased any further.

Seven black tendrils extend out of Raven's body like octopus arms. They move independently of each other as if they each had a mind of their own.

Then without any warning, the tendrils quickly touch the ground to lift Raven into the air. They lower her slightly before pushing back up to launch her tens of meters over the wall.

All Luna can do is watch from the sidelines while Raven dissappears over the other side.

Meanwhile, in the Twin Blade compound.

Raven sprints after her first target that she spotted before reaching the ground.

The man caught off guard, tries to ready his weapon. However, one of Raven's tendrils shoots out ahead of her, closing the distance between her and her prey. It pierces the man's chest and rips his heart out. Bringing the man's heart back to Raven so she can consume it.

By this point, all of the goons who had been standing guard outside of the buildings had watched the scene unfold.

Their weapons in hand, but they think twice about attacking the monster in front of them as Raven swallows the man's heart without chewing it.

"Don't just stand there. Attack it." One of the men shouts as he regains his composure.

As the man charges Raven, the other men follow close behind.

When Raven sees twentymen charging at her, she doesn't waste anytime to go after her prey. She shoots her black tendrils at them, all seven hitting their mark.

She continues to move closer and slashes the throat of two more humans. The remaining eleven halt their attack as they see their comrades die so easily.

Raven's dark tendrils start to twitch while still holding onto the corpses. They extend themselves above Raven, hundreds of small black needles extend out of the tendrils to pierce the dead nearly causing them to explode.

The men's eyes widen as they watch blood and guts rain down onto Raven. Her fur black covered, dripping crimson death.

"DEMON!!" A man shouts.

"Are we in hell?" Another asks.

Raven's tendrils flicks off what remains of the corpses and turns her head to the remaining troops.

They all drop their weapons and run away shouting for help.

"Who's going to save you?" Raven whispers to herself.

She reaches her hand into one of her tendrils to search for an object. Dark magic users are also considered by many to be tricksters.

One of the many magic spells they posses is called dark void. A place separate from the physical realm in which they can store more items than they could normally carry on their person.

Raven pulls put a man sized throwing star, which is also called a shuriken. This one had curved blades, perfect for slashing.

It would normally be just for show, that's because it was as tall as she was. However, she had something most magic users don't.

Gravity manipulation.

The shuriken took off, souring through the air like it was shot out of a cannon. It makes a path towards the man furthest ahead of the retreating grunts.

The men following the lead man are shaken up by it flying past them. It was too fast for them to see, they only felt the shockwave. The men stop dead in their tracks when they see the man ahead of them sliced in half from his head to his crotch.

Raven brings the shuriken back around like a boomerang and cuts the rest of the men in half horizontally this time.

A couple of them survive for the moment after loosing their lower halves, laying in a pile of their intestines.

The shuriken flies back towards Raven and into her tendrils.

Meanwhile, Luna stood outside patiently waiting for Raven. Wondering if she's going to stay true to her word and leave some of them for her.

'It's hard to believe a single person can take out a whole gange. The power dynamic of magic users is a little unsettling. How strong could someone become? Strong enough to fight a country?'

Luna decided it was time to go inside before Raven broke her end of the deal.

After entering through the main gate, the dead bodies of Raven's victims are the first things she notices.

It's a little disturbing for her to see. She's seen dead people before, but nothing like these mangled bodies.

She looks around for any sign of Raven. She hears men shouting from inside one of the buildings. A body gets flung through a window.

Luna rushes inside only to see another group of men laying dead on the floor in a pool of their blood.

She hears some whispers near her position. As she glances around, she sees a pile of scrap metal that they are most likely hiding behind.

As she gets closer, one of them whispers a familiar name. Tom.

'Tom?' The only friend I had during my childhood. Could it really be him? Why is he working with the Twin Blades?'

Luna walks around the metal to find them cowering at the base. Their eyes light up when they notice her. Two men, both slender in figure. One with dark short hair, the other with longer brown.

Luna was sure Tom had black hair.

"Did one of you say your name was Tom?" Tom wasn't a terribly popular name, but she knew the chances of him being the same person was slim.

"Y...yeah. I'm Tom." The black hair man said.

"Do you know who Trey is? The leader of the resistance."

"Everyone knows who he is." The other man explains.

"Did you grow up there?"

"I did!" Tom exclaims. "Do I know you?"

"My name is Luna."

Tom's eyes widen. "Yeah. We spent time together as kids, when you were human."

Tom can't help but be weary of her despite their previous friendship. "You're with that monster? You've become one?"

"I could ask you the same question." Luna snaps at him. "Working with these thugs. You know what they do to people, right?"

"I did what I had to do to survive. And it looks like you did the same."

Luna had to admit that Tom had a point. Especially now that's she's become a werewolf. She's had thoughts of killing people.

"We have to get out of here, quickly." Tom grabs Luna's arm. "If our leader, Blake gets cornered by that thing. There's a good chance he'll blow up the explosives we've been stockpiling, just to kill it."

"Explosives? What were you guys going to us it for?"

The other man who had been listening quietly stands up. "We were going t..."

Tom slaps the man and turns to face Luna. "We have to get out. The whole building could blow up."

"I'm not leaving her behind." Luna pulls away from Tom's grip.

"That thing is a she?"

"Where is this stockpile?"

Tom hesitates for a few seconds before answering. "I'll show you."
