Betrayal and encounters

"I didn't expect you to betray Aaron, Seth!"

"Why not? I've been hurt for so long, I wanted to be a leader, I'm tired of being a subordinate. What did I do wrong that I should still end up being a Gamma!"

The man named Thomas stared at his interlocutor who had betrayed his clan. Thomas was the Beta of the wolf pack called Xhevat.

"I swear to finish you off and even Aaron will never forgive you!"

Seth smiled slightly as Thomas, the Beta of the Alpha, had left him in a dark room, a dungeon from which it would be difficult for him to escape.

However, Seth was a Gamma, or the third leader of the Xhevat Group, he already knew the dungeon very well, even the strength of the guards in the dungeon.

In addition, Thomas met Aaron who was still crying silently, with eyes that stared intently at a pile of earth where a werewolf had been buried, someone who meant a lot to him. Nurturing him since childhood and educating him to be a good and strong Alpha, a figure he already considered as a father, Philips.

However, with his death, Aaaron thought he had failed him, for not being able to be a good Alpha for his pack.

"I failed, Thom! I've failed!"

Thomas was silent, he didn't know what to say. Thomas knew what Aaron was feeling right now, sad and angry, even feeling like he had failed, just like Aaron had told him.

"Aaron, you have done well," Thomas said, soothing Aaron.

"Well you say, after one of my confidants betrayed me? Just tell me if I'm stupid!"

Thomas was silent again, he didn't know what to say, because right now Aaron was really feeling failed and also angry.

Seth was the Gamma he had trusted for so long. But it turned out to have betrayed him, by allying with another group of wolves who wanted to destroy his clan. So that in the end Philips, whom he already considered his father, had to die at Seth's hands for trying to protect him.

At that time, Aaron wanted to resuscitate Seth, but Philips knew how Seth would be difficult to resuscitate, so he decided to become a shield to save Aaron.

Aaron was silent for a moment and after knowing Philiph was helpless, he attacked Seth, his heart torn because Seth was the person he believed had betrayed him, even had the heart to kill Philips.

Of course Aaron didn't expect Seth to be able to do all that.

What was wrong and what was Seth's real goal?

Aaron felt Seth was different, there was something else he wanted.

"Where is he, Thom?" asked Aaron, wanting to see Seth.

"The dungeon," replied Thomas and then escorted Aaron to meet Seth.

Arriving at the prison, Aaron and Seth were surprised to see many guards lying helplessly, some were dead and even unconscious and only a few were conscious.

"What happened?" asked Thomas to one of the guards who was still conscious.

"Seth, he has escaped, there are Rogues helping him, there are so many of them, we can't fight back," he explained, making Aaron even angrier and Thomas even angrier.

"WHAT? HOW CAN THEY ENTER OUR WAY!" Thomas screamed.

"BRENGSEK!" swore Aaron.

"Seth, he's been planning this for a long time, and I was stupid not to realize it!" growled Aaron.

Aaron also turned into a big wolf with white and black fur, Aaron was seen running towards the forest looking for Seth who had run away from his territory. Seth was smart enough to have erased his trail with other odors, so as not to be smelled by Aaron, so he couldn't find him.

Seth apparently realized that he could not fight Aaron at this time, because Aaron was much stronger than him.

Several months passed, Aaron, who had assigned some of his group to keep looking for Seth but still could not be found.

"Is it possible that he is hiding among humans?" Thomas said to Aaron.

Aaron looked at Thomas, "Why do you think that, Thom?"

"As you know, I have been investigating Seth and who has allied with him. They have promised him one thing that will be difficult to obtain, but he foolishly believed it," Thomas explained.

"What do you mean, Thomas! Explain to me in more detail!"

"Seth, was promised the Alpha position by them but as you know, the Alpha position is not an easy thing to get, even though he was chosen, he must be stronger. One of them is if he can fight and kill you, but in fact Seth cannot do that," Thomas explained again.

"So, are you saying that Seth has been used by them?"

"True, but we also can't let our guard down, because maybe Seth still wants to kill you, for a confession," said Thomas, reminding Aaron not to let his guard down.

Aaron grinned, he seemed to be waiting for the day when he could meet Seth. Aaron wanted to kill Seth with his own hands.

"Get ready, Thomas, we're going to live in the human world, leave this forest behind!" Aaron said with a smirk on his face.

No matter what, Aaron would find Seth and eliminate him. It didn't matter if Seth was in a different world though. Once in trouble with him, he would be in trouble forever.

Seth would never escape his goal to be eliminated.

Thomas obeyed Aaron's wish to leave the forest where they had been living. The human world was not far from them, but they decided to isolate themselves so as not to be seen. The existence of werewolves might cause an uproar and humans would hunt them down.

Those humans would definitely be afraid and feel threatened by their existence.

"Human life isn't so bad," Aaron said when he was at the house Thomas had chosen not far from the forest.

"You're good at picking your spots, Thom."

"Thanks, I've always been smart. After all, we are wolves who need fresh food," Thomas explained.

Aaron nodded, he always liked what Thomas did. Thomas was his most trusted Beta, or representative. Aaron hoped Thomas would never betray him.

Aaron was seen out of the house looking at the surrounding scenery, wearing only his shorts, even though the air felt very cold. Aaron, who was a wolf, would not feel the cold because he had thick fur.

His eyes were now glued to a woman who was walking to who knows where, Aaron kept his eyes on her. The woman seemed to be wearing a pair of earphones in her ears and seemed unconcerned with her surroundings.

Until a car that was traveling fast enough to hit her, the car seemed to lose its balance, making Aaron run and then pull the woman into his arms, so that the car continued to move forward and hit a large tree, and the woman was saved from the death that would target her.

The woman looked at Aaron with her heart beating fast, being hugged by a man without wearing a top shirt even his face looked very handsome. The woman seemed to forget what would have happened to her just now, if there was no man who was now still holding her.

"Comfortable...?"
