1 The Grounder

I woke up today thinking it was going to be like any other day down here on Earth ,but today was different.

I woke up and put on my usual hunting gear, dark brown hide pants and boots, with a wolf hide wrapped around my waist , a bear pelt connected to a wolf's head hood with eagle feathers on it.

Then I grabbed my quiver and bow slinging them across my back then got my katana, and wolf short sword, putting the katana on my back and strapping the wakizashi to my left hip.

After I finished I walk to about the middle of my RV and then jumped up and grabbed the roof and opened the hatch before climbing out and onto the ground, before looking up taking a breath and catching the scent of a deer.

I took off climbing up the trees and jumping from branch to branch with balance and speed like no other, before coming to a stop. When I got there it seemed like the deer just started grazing, I pulled out my bow loading an arrow then i take a breath and just as I am about to release I catch a scent I never smelled before and the smell of a serpent. I jump down ignoring the deer and taking off after the scent I doge tree after tree, jumping over and sliding under branches when I reach the river.

It was there that I see the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on come out of the river and almost a second later a river serpent bites down on her leg and as much as I wanted to charge down there I decided that it would be better if they didn't know about me so I quickly fired an arrow at the serpent, and in a moment of pain it let go of the girl, and her friends were able to get her out and with that I decided to watch them for a while.

Later that night I followed them to where they camped for the night and while they were out I climbed down quietly before creeping my way over to the girl that got hurt, and when I do I remove her clothing until I can clearly see the injury. When I do I see it is not to bad so I add some red seaweed past to it before. taking off back to my RV and sleeping for the night.

A few days later

After my encounter with the group by the river I tracked them to a crash site of a ship where there a bunch of kids, and from first look I can't see these idiots surviving, they were obviously and except for a few people the rest don't do much, but they didn't seem to stick for long because when some kid died, blaming us, they all came together getting their act together.

I have also somehow ran out of food so I am going to have to head to the cave to hunt and tan the skins.

Late that night

As I was scouring the woods looking for any decent game I see a girl running through the woods, before tumbling down a steep hill and injuring herself in the process. I made my way over to her and to my surprise it was the same girl I saved a couple of days ago, so I picked her up and carried her to the cave seeing as it was closer than the RV.

When I made it back I laid her down before checking her knee, and when I saw it I knew the seaweed wouldn't fix this so I got a blade and set it in the fire to heat up. Sometime while I was in a different section of the caves I heard noise so I got up to go check and when I get there she is scrambling back away from me and not really in the mood to deal with her because I still haven't caught anything just yet so I had nothing to eat " Aaah! Aaah! Please! Please, don't hurt me! Please don't- Aaah! No! No, please! Nooo! Noooo!" she screams as I pull her close and bring the heated blade to her wound cauterizing it, and in the pain she passed out. " Sorry" I say, before laying down to rest, before I get up to go hunt the next morning.

While I was out hunting I noticed that an attack was going on against the outsiders, I go to make my way through the trees when I notice the same girl I am taking care of out, about, and going to get herself killed, and while I knew I should just leave her I couldn't "damn it." I groan before making my over to where she would run past and as she was passing I pulled her to me putting my hand over her mouth, just as another girl was running past and got a spear to the chest. Once she calmed down I pulled her up and got her to follow me back.

I was walking when I hear her foot steps stop and panting " My leg. I need to rest." she tells me I Just look at her before walking over to her and picking her up princess style "Thank you. You saved my life. That girl back there I knew her, So, if she's here, then so is my brother. Please, you have to help him, too. They'll kill him. You don't understand me, do you?( I look at her) Great." She says all of this as we were walking and I ignored her continuing back to the cave.

When we got back to the room I was holding her in she asks "Why are you taking care of me? You found me at the bottom of that ravine. Fixed my knee. What the hell are you doing?" As I place her down and move to grab a chain so she can't escape again "Please don't do this. Aah! Stop it! No, stop it! Stop! Please! Please don't do this." she begs me I just turn around and walk out realising I am so going to regret helping this girl and he brother.

After some quick searching I found her friends about to be attacked so I blow the fog horn giving them a chance to escape, then I took off back to the cave.

When I do I see that the girl has calmed down so I move to go unlock the chains when she took me by surprise and hit me twice putting me down for a quick nap, but when I do wake up I hear movement around me so I slowly reach and pulled a knife out of my jacket, then I waited for the moment to strike. " How did you find me?" the girl asks " Followed him" one of them answers " We should go. Now. Before he wakes up?" the girl tells them " He's not gonna wake up." a new voice says as I hear steps going away from me in the direction of my spear, very glade that I left the rest of my weapons at the RV, while other footsteps come towards me " Bellamy, stop. He didn't hurt me. Let's just go." she tells him once again " They started this. Finn. Move." the voice says to someone looking over my body " Foghorn." he says right before I stab him with the knife, and sweep the legs of the one with my spear, then when he gets back up we grapple for the spear before I eventually get it, at the same time knocking him to the ground. He grabbed the spear pushing against me when the girl pleads with me " Stop that's my brother!" and in that moment I falter slightly before getting hit over the head with my last thought being I knew this was going to screw me over.
