39 Murder Murder Murder, Feng Jiao Wants to Murder

"Math?" Liao Jiang asked cheerfully, "Gao Longwei here was top of the class in everything, every year. He's definitely good at math! Do you need him to count trees or something for you?"

Feng Jiao grinned.

She had caught her tutor. Even if she and Gao Longwei had a rather rocky, uncomfortable past, she was going to have to make do with him. He seemed smart after all. And business majors had to be good at math, didn't they?

Feng Jiao wasn't very sure if the kind of math that Gao Longwei was good at would match with what she needed. And no, she did not know that business majors needed to be good at probability and statistics. She was thinking of something entirely different.

'Business majors need to be able to count their money and stocks. He's definitely good at counting. But does that mean he's any good at integration... hmm…' Feng Jiao thought for a while before deciding to just ask Gao Longwei.

"Are you any good at that integration thingie? I need someone to teach me that~" Feng Jiao opened her eyes as wide as they could possibly get and then smiled at Gao Longwei pitifully, "No one ever taught me so I'm really bad at it."

Gao Longwei looked at Feng Jiao's wistful stare and suddenly felt a pang in his heart.

He was the kind who couldn't refuse his mate. One look into her eyes and he was already done for. He would listen to whatever she had to say. It was simply ridiculous for him, but Feng Jiao unknowingly reaped the benefits of this.

She was pretty sure that he was going to reject her after what had happened last time, but she took a chance and asked away. There was no problem in asking, was there?

Feng Jiao didn't mind the weird glances that Liao Jiang was giving her, but the more she waited for them to stop, the fiercer the glances got. It was as if he was drilling a hole through her skull. It was odd, and Feng Jiao didn't like it.

She was someone extremely perceptive to glances after all.

As an assassin of sorts, she needed to be able to tell if someone was looking at her. Anyone looking at her doing her work could be anything from a sniper to another assassin. If she wanted to keep her life, she needed to be able to feel when someone was looking at her.

So with a blatant gaze at the back of her head, constantly from Liao Jiang, she couldn't help but want to take her shoe off and throw it at the thick headed man glaring at her.

Her feet began tapping on the ground with an increased speed, and Feng Jiao began bouncing to ward off the feeling of wanting to beat someone up.

If she truly beat Liao Jiang up over here, there was a lot of cleaning up she was going to have to do. There was even a witness.

Plus she couldn't kill an alpha without some sort of weapon. Her physical strength was great, but not great enough to fight close contact with an alpha. The pure weight of an alpha could overpower her.

Her greatest strength was her versatility and use of weapons. And of course, her immunity to the pheromones. But immunity to pheromones wouldn't save her when a werewolf comes charging at her, baring its teeth.

Feng Jiao was confident in seriously injuring any werewolf that attacked her, but winning, and surviving the fight was hard. But the prospects of getting permanently injured kept most werewolves away from attacking her. She was mostly safe, except for those willing to die to protect some greater evil of a werewolf.

'If I beat Liao Jiang up, I'll have to remove any witnesses, and because I'm killing Gao Longwei, I'll have to kill Liao Jiang. Where would I hide the bodies? If I put their bodies in the garden, would they be spotted? Do werewolves' decomposing bodies make good fertilizer?'

"What are you thinking about?" Liao Jiang finally asked, still giving her those annoying, teasing glances. He only ever stopped to send those glances toward Gao Longwei.

Feng Jiao wanted to wipe his smirk off his face, but she had to respond, and try not to kill him, so she hesitantly blurted out "fertilizer-"

"Oi Gao Longwei. Go get fertilizer for the lady!" Liao Jiang began teasing Gao Longwei without any mercy. He didn't seem to care for his own wellbeing, and Gao Longwei's hands were itching to beat Liao Jiang up as well.

'If I kill Liao Jiang here, I'll have to somehow have Feng Jiao forget about it. I can't give her any trauma. How would I do that? If I kill Liao Jiang after she's gone, she won't realize he went missing. Would she?'

He instead shot Liao Jiang with a frosty glare that had him shivering.

Gao Longwei instantly averted his gaze and began sending the teasing glances at Feng Jiao instead, conveniently ignoring the glare that Gao Longwei was sending him.

If Feng Jiao knew that Gao Longwei wanted to kill Liao Jiang too, there was no way she would've held back.

But too bad she didn't know.
