1 Prolog: Reincarnation

"Yes! Next, please! Let's not wait."

A mighty voice was heard from what seemed to be the end of a corridor covered in various golden patterns. The corridor, strangely, seemed to go on forever.

According to various beliefs, for some it was the torment of the grave, for others it was a way of redemption. For some it was a step into nothingness, for others it was a cleansing from impurities.

Whatever their beliefs, no doubt these souls from various worlds were waiting here to find what was promised, in the hope that something good would happen at the end.

Of course, this was true for the souls with memories. Only half of them retained most of their memories, the other half did not even know who they were. Some were mere orbs, having lost the ability to speak or even the soulual form that defined who they were.

But no matter what, each of them waited patiently on this path, hoping to find their desire.

"Next!"

A sublime and naive voice was heard. Each person who heard it had hope that he or she would be next.

Finally, the line moved forward a little and the next person arrived. He opened the door in front of him and went inside.

Inside it was completely dark. At least the soul that entered thought so. The truth was that the soul was not qualified to see inside, so it could not see in here.

Suddenly he felt the touch of a hand and was surprised, but the hand pulled away before he had a chance to react. Then a voice was heard.

"Let's see... Half of your memories are complete. You've done enough favors. Shouldn't be a problem. Where do you want to be reincarnated?"

The soul, thinking it would finally ascend to heaven, was stunned.

"What do you mean? I'm not going to heaven?"

He tried to ask in disbelief. It was unclear whether his voice came or not. But he was too surprised to realize it.

The voice sighed.

"I'm sorry, but if you want to reach Heaven, you will have to become strong enough to reach Heaven in your second life. That's why you will be given a system. If you do what the system says, you will reach Heaven. Do you understand?"

The soul nodded excitedly. Why wouldn't he agree? Since it retained most of its memories, it should be able to grow stronger without any trouble.

Seeing the soul's approval, the voice began to say something.

"Now I'm going to fuse your soul with the system, but it's going to hurt."

He was about to ask what kind of pain, when suddenly he felt a pressure inside his chest. He wouldn't say it was pain. On the contrary, his chest was tightening as if he was having a heart attack.

"Hah~! Hah~! What have you done to me!?"

It was hard not to shout while it still hurt. But the voice did not respond. The pain went away after about five minutes as the soul continued to grumble in pain.

<Code Name: ######. System v1.0 successfully integrated.>

The voice made a satisfied sound when it saw this inscription.

"Good... Now tell me where you want to be reincarnated."

After the pain passed, the soul finally began to think. The first anime that came to mind was DxD. Bleach came next. But it didn't take him long to eliminate them both in his mind. DxD was frustrating. Extremely strong characters and extremely frustrating plots. The last thing he wanted in his new life was to struggle. The threats in Bleach were impossible to resist. Especially with a psychopath changing the future!

So after a brief moment of reflection, he made up his mind.

"I've made up my mind. I want you to send him to the Undertale universe."

"Aye aye. Turn right and go straight ahead. The rest is up to you."

"Thank you for this chance," he said as he did exactly as he was told after hearing the voice, and went straight ahead, and as he did so he began to see a speck of light and ran towards it, and suddenly he too disappeared from sight.

"How many were sent to Undertale today?"

"One hundred."

"Good. Let's keep going. Next one!"

At that moment, a soul who had been watching the events from around the corner all this time began to move forward timidly. He had managed to see what was happening. Yes, he could see the room, even if it was quite blurry and headache-inducing, but he could also somehow feel the soul leaving and the soul's thoughts as it left.

Maybe it was a side effect of being there when he shouldn't have been, he didn't know, but what he heard was strangely haunting him. Still, he could not miss the chance of reincarnation for this.

He hurried forward and stopped in front of what appeared to be a well-built male figure. Right where he had told the previous soul to stop.

Then the man put his hand on the soul and immediately withdrew it.

"Hm... Interesting. I see... I offer you a new system and the right to make a wish. The potential of your soul is good. What do you want now?"

Hearing what the man said, the soul started to think.

'That soul... He wanted to stay away from death, but I won't. Bleach, Bleach... It might be fun. That soul made a big mistake by leaving out a small detail.'

He wasn't an otaku, but he had watched a few anime. Of course, due to his self-imposed rule of not watching anime with more than a hundred episodes, he had never watched Bleach before. But that didn't mean he didn't know about the beautiful women there.

Moreover, from what he heard from his friends, it was not a bad anime.

Also, since most of the other anime he watched were either extremely bloody or full of war, he would prefer Bleach again for a fantasy universe. Compared to other anime, there was at least the possibility of getting stronger after death.

So he finally made up his mind.

"To be reincarnated in the Bleach universe. I also want to use my wish on my body, I want a body that can absorb the races' abilities."

The man nodded. Then he made some gestures in the air. Then he looked at him.

"It is possible. But you can absorb a maximum of five races. If you want to absorb more, you need to cross the third limit."

She wondered what the third limit was, but remained silent, hoping she would get the information soon. The man didn't seem to mind his silence either.

"So... The first experimenter of the new system. If it works well, all systems will receive the update at the same time."

The angel seemed to have a slight smirk on his face. He wondered why, but did not dare to ask.

At that moment the soul felt a pain in its chest. But the pain did not last long like the previous soul. It passed quickly. Of course, the soul could not see it, but the man was quite surprised.

<Code Name: Hyper God of War, System v2.0 Beta successfully integrated.>

After seeing the success message, the man spoke in a neutral voice.

"Then proceed wherever you want. I think you see the portal. Go ahead."

Although he couldn't understand the strange tone in his voice, he was a bit startled that he had finally been deciphered. Nevertheless, he moved forward without saying anything.

In the meantime, he wondered if he had made the right decision. Perhaps it would have been wiser to go to a world with the power to know the future. But soon he shuddered at the thought of being somewhere like Akame ga Kill or Berserk and refused.

When he moved towards the portal, he saw that it was colored green. As if it was pointing towards the exit.

So he started to move forward hopefully, but just then a sound was heard.

BOOOM! BOOOM!

"What? What's going on?"

At that moment, the man behind him roared angrily and jumped into the air, but the explosions were not going to stop.

BOOM! BOOOM!

"Come here, you angel trash!"

"What beautiful women we have here!"

"Let's eat them all. ROAR!"

The creatures were getting closer and closer, shouting explosions and provocative words. Although the soul understood what the angel was saying, he couldn't quite make sense of it, but he could inevitably sense that it was a harbinger of something bad.

So he hurried towards the portal.

But something was different. The portal had turned purple and was trembling eerily. Yet the soul did not have the luxury of questioning it. Something was happening and the last thing it wanted to be found in was a mythological battle.

And yet, before he entered the portal, he could hear a word.

"Damn the warriors of Hell!"

That was the last thing he heard. Then he teleported out of the portal and it shattered immediately afterwards.

And so the soul began its new adventure.
