5 Chapter #3,5 - Meeting Harribel

Ignoring the unexpected sound of the system, Kizuna became extremely cautious.

Harribel was pointing a sword at him, looking menacingly.

"Stay away."

She looked at Kizuna with cold green eyes that lacked emotion. The reputation of this strange werewolf had reached her ears. He was not the type she would have wanted in her cave.

Her upright posture and massive amount of reiatsu put pressure on Kizuna. While his instincts screamed for him to flee, Kizuna managed to maintain his composure, albeit barely. His eyes momentarily shifted to the three menacing Adjuchas inside the cave.

It was as he had predicted. He took a significant breath to avoid getting excited and spoke, showing his wounds:

"I... I've just hunted, I was looking for a place to rest, and then I found this place. I wasn't aware of your presence here, I'm sorry, Mrs Vasto Lorde."

Harribel looked him over. When she was sure he was not making any hostile gestures or emitting any energy, she lost interest. It seemed like he really wasn't aware of it.

"Go away and don't come back here again."

After giving only a short and clear reply, Harribel waited for him to leave. The white-masked deer behind her spoke in a slightly irritated tone.

"Why don't we just kill him? Free food."

But then the lioness answered her.

"As much as I would like that... You know it Apacci."

When the deer named Apacci heard this, she tried to speak to protest.

"Yes, but with such weak prey in front of us-"

Just then the big purple snake interrupted her.

"Stop arguing and watch. Besides, if you've noticed, the spirit energy is more intense than ours. It is impossible for us to win here without the master. So be quiet and do not question the command of the master."

Kizuna found their relationship quite amusing as they sternly chastised Apache. After a brief hesitation, he turned to Harribel, who was pointing him outside.

How much sense did it make to say the next words? He could feel the tension instinctively, but if there was something more intense he felt... It was a feeling of inferiority.

It was ridiculous and hard to make sense of. Still, it was impossible to find a Hollow in the future who would be a beautiful woman and have a truly good heart. He took a deep breath and took a few steps back.

His height was three times that of Harribel. After opening the necessary distance so that the size of his size would not cause problems, he knelt without hesitation. Even though his sudden kneeling was met with surprise by the onlookers, he spoke in a determined tone without caring about it:

"Please let me be your follower!"

Harribel raised one eyebrow. A clearly questioning expression appeared in her eyes as she drew back her sword.

"My follower?"

Kizuna, who was working his mind with all his might, recalled the rumors he had heard just now. He had heard that she didn't behave well towards the King of Hueco Mundo, Barragan. He quickly put together what he remembered from his own faint memories and began to speak:

"Yes. In this place where the powerful and the powerless are constantly changing places, I would rather be a follower of someone like you who values his subordinates than a subordinate of an overlord."

He paused for a moment. Then he added:

"You can use me as your hunting dog, but please don't refuse."

Then he kept his position and looked at Harribel.

Harribel was thoughtful. She turned her head slightly and looked at the trio behind her. She actually had no problem with not accepting directly. She was someone who favored going together rather than going it alone. The only problem here was Kizuna himself, the silver werewolf in front of him.

Killings, hunts... These were all very common in Hueco Mundo. But some 'extreme' acts would reach the ears of even the most distant creature, or somehow become known to them. This was the case with the stories about the Silver Werewolf.

Kizuna was well known and famous for his statements such as "He is a ruthless creature" and "He is extremely savage". It was strange that someone like him would want to join Harribel's team.

However, this thoughtfulness was extremely short-lived. Her voice, full of calmness, filled the silence.

"You may stand. One more comrade won't hurt."

Kizuna stood up gratefully, but Apacci's words caused him to pause for a moment.

"I've heard of you. They say you are strong."

Kizuna was surprised, not expecting praise. Of course, his words immediately afterwards made it clear that it was not praise.

"But I don't see an ounce of power."

Kizuna glanced at Harribel, then back at Apacci. He straightened up slightly and assumed a normal posture. He only smiled mockingly at the aggressive and rude deer. As his Reiatsu was fully revealed for a moment, he asked in an amused tone:

"You want to see my power? If you want, we can fight. Without killing each other, of course. Are you in?"

The deer, Apacci, trembled with the reiatsu she felt for a moment. But she was not going to give up with this. She took a few steps forward. She pounded the ground hard with her forelegs.

"Harribel-sama let me. Let me send this dog, who thinks he's something, home."

Apacci spoke proudly, but the gold-masked female adjuchas instantly shattered her pride and stepped forward.

"Are you sure you want to be against someone we don't even know the extent of his power? I think it would be more appropriate for me to fight. Right, Harribel-sama?"

It was clear that they were going to argue with each other once again. Harribel silenced them all by speaking softly:

"No one is going to fight. Everyone take your seats."

However, even though they wanted to argue further, both of them retreated without saying anything. After Kizuna, led by Harribel, entered the cave, Harribel introduced the trio.

The great snake Cyan Sung-Sun and the golden masked lion had the name Mila Rose. The stubborn deer that stood up to her was Emilou Apacci.

Kizuna went through a kind of interrogation with important and unimportant questions until it was time to go to bed. Then, when Kizuna lay down to rest for a while, he saw a new voice and a new window in his mind.
