24 Denver's Promise 2

"What was that thing you said about losing your limbs...?" White grinned at Denver as he steadily approached.

Every step he took was defining of his position as one to be very feared.

However, Denver stood her ground. She might not have been all that strong like her husband, but she was still a level 3 Werewolf. Even with the collar around her neck, she was not an easy opponent that many would want to mess with.

"Release her collar!" White ordered.

"But boss White..." One of the hunters wanted to complain, but White immediately turned to him. The sight of those dead eyes was all it took for the man to shut up.

"Yes Boss white!" He threw the key to the collar to Denver. She caught it, and although she paused a bit, skeptical of what was going on, she proceeded to unlocking it at White's encouraging eyes.

*CLANK!*

The collar fell to the ground, and immediately, Denver took her stand.

Her leg was still severly injured from the bear trap, but without the collar about her neck, her natural healing had started to kick in. Albeit slow, it was better than nothing.

Denver's eyes remained on White as she spat out the torn out ear in her mouth.

The unfortunate man that owned it rushed to pick it up, trying his best to see if it would still, by some miracle fit back to his head.

Unlike many thought, White did not rush. Instead, he walked around her steadily, one step at a time.

Her eyes followed him gently.

For a few seconds, she contemplated it, but seeing the mocking look in his eyes, she got angrier, and immediately, she roared to the air as she began her transformation, but at the same time, White, like a sudden gust of the wind moved past her.

Denver paused mid transformation as she turned back to her human form.

She looked at her shoulder, now empty of an arm. The entire world seemed to pause for a second, and then came the scream from the bowls of her lungs.

*Spiiitttttt!*

"MAMA!!!" Dan, Gray and Cherry, all screamed in unison. The worry for their mother, quite obvious in their eyes as Dan even attempted to break free from the chains just to reach her but it was not possible.

Blood spitted at intervals from Denver's wound.

White, with his back facing her as he admired the stain of her blood on the machete had a grin on his face, "Many don't know this, but Werewolves are most vulnerable just before they transform. It is your weakest point, and a person that can grasp this advantage, does not even need to be high in level before he kills you."

Denver grabbed her shoulder as she fiercely gritted her teeth. Her Werefangs protruded as her bloodlust also rose. She activated her bloodline ability in an attempt to freeze the shoulder, stopping the endless flow of blood.

"Smart choice, but how long will you last?" White Chuckled lightly as he moved again.

And then a leg was gone.

Denver groaned as she fell to the ground. her blood stained the earth, as the forest heard her anguish.

At this point,Gray could already tell what was going to happen. Like Dan, he could no longer hold himself back. He did not like Supernaturals, but the love for family was an entirely different thing.

He was not the only one. Cherry cried her heart out as she tried to break from the hold of the Hunter keeping her in place.

She was just a little girl of six years old. This was too much for her to watch. Her mother was being butchered before her.

Denver fell to the ground, her groans heavy and deep. However, she still persisted, using her bloodline ability to freeze the new injury.

It was at this time that White could be seen removing his pants. He turned to Andrew, who was high up on the tree, "Cousin, wont you join me this time around, lets break this one together!"

Andrew raised his head and took a look at White and then at Denver. He shook his head, "You know I prefer them red heads. Just have fun by yourself!"

White chuckled, "Okay, suite yourself! More holes for me then." He grinned as he approached Denver.

She tried to crawl away, struggling and pulling herself as hard as she could, but she too could tell that her efforts were in vain.

White came over, turning her to face him, and then he gave her a SLAP to the face. "I heard you say that you won't have another man! let's see if that is true.

He forced her legs open, trying to rip off what remaining clothes she had left.

Denver tried to fight him off, but with one hand and the amount of blood she had lost, it was very difficult.

A few more resounding slaps that bled her landed on her face.

Denver could barely see what was happening around her. However, at this point, she knew what was going to happen next.

The slaps had been loud, but with her sensitive hearing, she could hear the voices of her children, screaming and crying in the background.

Her eyes were hazy as her head rolled right and left.

She was weak, and her body told her to give up and give in.

However, her eyes suddenly laid on Ironclaw one more time. His dead-still eyes seemed to penetrate the void to reach her.

And then came the flood of memories like a broken dam. They rushed into her heart and flooded her soul with deep fondness.

She remembered his gaze when they had first met, and how he had held her in his eyes.

His stare had been so deep that she saw her soul reflect his.

And that was when it happened. That was when they imprinted on one another.

Ever since that day, she had been by his side through the throws and turns of...
