Ch-12

Melio is freshly dressed after this hectic morning. He looks at the mirror & smiles.

'Damn, what a life.' Melio thought. He then walks out of the bathroom and heads towards the kitchen where the girls are sitting eating.

Melio sits on the table's head; Jill servers him a fresh plate of banana pancakes & hashbrown.

The girls all sit & watch Melio eat.

Melio ignores their stares as he starts to enjoy his meal.

After five minutes of eating, Melio looks at the girls.

"Jill, Emma... What are you girls doing here?" Melio asked.

Emma looks at Jill; Jill then looks at Melio with a smile.

"You are supposed to be my man salve for a month for punishment; I asked Mundo in return, I give Mundo a supply of some special herbs. Then he brought us to you; oh and no, before you ask, my sister doesn't know.

I think you should call her, though." Jill hands all the trouble to Melio and while bringing up what happened a few days ago.

Melio shakes his head and calls Esme.

[ Esme: Hello?]

" Hey, Love. How you been?" Melio said to Esme nervously since it's been a week and a half since he last spoke to her.

The girls can see how nervous he is. Vivian shook her head because she told him to her call, but Melio kept saying no, she won't answer.

Esme was surprised that Melio called, and not only that, he is using her sister's phone.

[Esme: I have been good, but with the events of last night, trouble might arrive sooner than expected. Oh, what is Jill doing with you?]

Melio was surprised she didn't get mad nor give him the cold shoulder.

"That's good; let's talk when I return next week. Oh, I forgot to mention this, but Emma is here too. As for why... Jill said it is for me to fulfill my punishment. She said better now before I die by a monster out here." Melio said.

Esme was silent and sighs.

[Esme: Okay, I get it... I know my sisters. Just be careful out there, okay? Please come home soon. A war between the West and East Sectors might happen. It's best to have all of my family close.]

Melio is a little happy; she said all her family.

"Okay, I understand. We'll be home next week Monday morning; be safe, and I'll text you, okay?" Melio said.

[Esme: Okay, Dear. I have a meeting to go to right now. I'll text you once I am out. Take care, bye.]

[**Click**]

[**Ding**]

[Esme💙: Give my sister her phone back... Now!]

Melio gives Jill her phone; then, all three phones ring once.

The three phones ring four times.

Then twice.

The girls look up at each other.

Then typed on their phones.

Melio at this moment... Had a Que? Look on his face.

For one last time, the phones ring.

Melio gives up and walks out of the treehouse.

'What the fook was all that about?' Melio thought.

The girls all walked outside, telling Melio to stay put.

Melio shrugs then start to think of ways to help Esme.

'I am the one who started this mess. I need to be the one to clean it, but how do I do that without causing more trouble for her? I should wait it out till next week when I see her.' Melio has never been one to plan things.

He has always been one to plan things on the spot or as he goes.

Melio gets up.

He walks to a wall and disappears.

The girls walked in, seeing Melio is gone. The girls start to talk nonsense once again.

Melio appeared in some ruins where a city once stood.

Melio enters a building.

Once he enters a hidden room from the building, Melio looks at all the locations Mundo has access to.

Melio takes a photo of the Eastern Sector Map.

He looks for his wife's number and thinks about sending it to her.

'I need to send this to her; she'll need this for her espionage unit.' Melio sends her the picture.

Two seconds pass by, Esme calls him.

[Esme: Are these Mundo roots located in the Eastern Sector? ]

"Hello, honey. And Yes, it is. I figured I could trust your Special unit about Mundo."

Esme felt the warmth within her chest.

[Esme: De... Dear, you don't know how much this can help us. Thank you.]

Melio has a silly smile on his face after Esme called him dear.

Esme even sounded adorable.

"You don't ever need to thank me; I am your husband. As your husband, I want to help my wife." Melio said with a stern voice, making Esme on the other side of the phone blush from his words.

Esme enjoys hearing Melio say things like this.

'His serious voice is a turn-on...' Esme catches herself & shakes her head.

[Esme: When you return... We really need to talk. Pa... Papi, I miss you.]

Melio felt his body tremble with excitement.

'Damn, that was a turn-on.'

Melio thought to himself as he smiles like a silly boy who got a rare pokemon card.

Esme's face was fully red when she discovers that Hera and Cecily were both in her throne room when she called Melio Papi and told him she misses him.

Esme was completely embarrassed because she isn't used to talking like that.

Hera & Cecily were surprised, for they know how she used to treat Melio, calling him Papi, shocked them both.

They did their best to hide their surprise look on their face cause Esme's face was completely bashful.

Esme takes a deep breath and releases it.

" Melio sent me a picture of Mundo's spread roots under the Eastern sector; we can use our map to create a 3D graphical map for a better view of the places where the roots are spread to.

This can help us a lot to spy on them. Cecily call Jocelyn to tell her to come to the meeting room. Hera, can you go get Amelia to tell her that she'll be needed for this." Esme told them about the photo and her plans. Then she dishes out orders, the women nodded and started to do their duty.

Esme sits on her throne.

She grabs her phone and takes a selfie.

Esme goes to her text messages & clicks on Hubby❤️.

Melio receives a message.

He was surprised it was from Esme.

After Melio walks through Mundo to appear back with the girls, he opened the message.

It was a selfie.

He was happy.

[Melio: Gorgeous.]

Esme replies with a shy emoji.

When Melio looks up from his phone.

His partner woken up.

The three girls are topless, comparing each other's breasts.

"Fook." Melio said.
