My date with Sang

I opened the door, looked up and my heart skipped a beat and my breath hitched as Sang stood in the doorway, in an all black suit, his hair styled in a side part with the most mesmerizing smile on his face. I felt flustered as I stood there shifting from one leg to the other, "Ready?" he smiled at me, I smiled and blushed and stepped out the door as he held it open and he then placed his hand gently on my lower back as he escorted me to his car. The ride was pleasant and seen we arrived to our destination Seoul, Nora Cellars a wine importer. Sang came out of the car and walked over to my door and opened it and assisted me in exiting the car, we walked up to the doors of the building and Sang opened them for me to enter first. The inside of the building was amazing and a quite stately looking gentleman walked over to us, "Mr. Hi Sang Lee.", Sang smiled at the man and bowed, "Sang no need to be so formal." he laughed and then turned to me. "And this must be the young lady?" he smiled at me and he then took my hand and kissed the back of it.

"Welcome to my establishment, hope you enjoy tonight." he added, I smiled back and looked a Sang quizzically, we were ushered into a room where wines were tasted. There was a table set up in the middle of the room a variety of wines placed in a line on a small bar where a sommelier and a waitress was standing at. They bowed when we walked in, Sang pulled out my chair for me to be seated, "Sang is this supposed to be a date?" I smiled at him, he looked at me while a blush danced across his face. "M. Hi had some new wines coming in...." he started, "And I thought you might have liked to join me in choosing some new flavors and well....." I laughed. "If you wanted to have dinner with me Sang, you could have just asked." I finished with a smile, he just smiled back, the night went by with us learning about each other and having fun. Sang decided to feed me most of the foods that was placed out for us as I had no idea how to use chopsticks, but that only helped to add to the romantic ambience of the night.

We had traditional Korean dishes as I have never eaten Korean food before, so Sang fed me foods like Kimchi, Bulgogi and Japchae, he night was great, and ended when Sang dropped me back home at Nikki's. He walked me to the door "Hoped you had a fun night tonight." he said with a smile, "I fully enjoyed tonight." I replied, he then bent down and lightly placed a kiss on my lips. I breathed in and held it as we both looked into each other's eyes, I knew I should not have done it but my emotions got the better of me and I did something I would later regret. I pulled Sang into a full long kiss, his lips felt soft and warm and his tongue danced and melded with mine as one entity, my mind went blank. His scent enveloped me like a blanket, my eyes closed I could feel his hands creeping up to my face as mine played in his hair pulling him closer to me. Then a little voice in my head shouted 'STOP', I immediately opened my eyes and felt my fangs slowly pushing out, which meant my eyes would begin to change color.

I quickly pulled back, turned and rushed through the doorway, apologizing profusely as I closed the door behind me, the next day was awkward as expected and before the day ended Sang called me into his office. "I need to apologize for last night." he started, "No last night was my fault." I interjected, "The date was perfect, but I let myself get to close too quickly and I shouldn't have." I ended before he could go any further. "The onus was mine and the wrong was mine and I am sorry." I politely added as I looked at him, Sang looked at me with a sad smile and without saying a word ushered me out his office, I felt like an ass, but now it was over and done. The next few months were quiet and uneventful, the twins were learning to dance with Tae-Hui in his dance studio, Dan was learning how to rap and sing with Joo-won and Jung-Hwa in their music studio as hey would teach kids to play piano and sing. Kaylee got a job at the High School Dan attended, teaching history, imagine that the person who failed out of history class teaching it, Lord help those children. Tyler now works in the Police Service, the high school delinquent, thank goodness his dad has friends in high places.

I am the only one working in a field I have been training all my life for, managing one of Sang's many restaurants with him, on weekends we all trained in a quiet secluded forested area outside of the city. Everything was normal for a while for awhile, everyone spent a lot of time at Nikki's house, the kids loved the pool and with Nikki having a theatre room, her house had the most activity. Galaxy and Mimi started coming home with some new friends, a red haired girl named Park Da-eun and a bubbly one who smiled a lot named Kim Soo-min. Why not, the kids needed to feel normal so I didn't fight it, I was enjoying the normalcy of life, but soon it came to an end. It was the week before Christmas and Jung-Hwa decided to ask Nikki on a date, this wouldn't be awkward I thought, Jung-Hwa had planned a very romantic date for Nikki. Sang owned a house, that was situated within the rural community of Sanseongmaeul.
