Plans for summer

Well, there I was sitting in my room. It has changed a bit, it still feels the same way and smelt the same way ( smell of sorrow and tears).

I took up a photo album of my high school, it was still intact. I remembered all the memories as I flipped from page to page, I remembered Roy, also one of my fiancee. Two days before the wedding he died in a plane crash, he actually committed sucide. He dropped the note before leaving, I thought he was joking until I heard he purposely drove a plane with no fuel in it. Who does that?

Looking at the photos reminded me of the though times Audrey and I have been through together. I closed the book and gave Audrey a call but she was on another call. As I hang up her call entered, so I was the other call.

" Hey babe" she said

" I'm still angry at you but I guess you're right" I said

" No, I'm not going to force you to go anywhere, and I'm not going to force you to get married, I'll respect your decision... Wait what?" She said realizing I agreed

" Does this mean you're..?" She asked

" Pack your bags bestie, we're going on a trip" I said

"OMG! , That's great. I'll book the ticket" she said

" Don't worry, I'll do that" I said

" Alright, so when are we leaving?" She asked

" I decided to make it a family vacation" I said

" Oh" she said as her mood changed

" I know, but I just want them to be happy this summer" I said

" Okay" she said

" Is Simon coming?" I asked

" No he has a lot of work to attend to" she said

" What of Tessa?" I asked

" With the kids in her hands, I'm not sure" she said

" Put her on the phone" I said and she did

" Hey, you finally remembered me" Tessa said

" Don't talk like that you're the busy one"I said

" Actually you both are the busy one, one is busy with work the other is busy with work and family" Audrey said

" So what's up?" Tessa asked

" We're going for summer vacation and we're inviting you, just like the good old days. Me, you and Audrey" I said

" I don't think I can make it, I mean these children... Mum I need to pee" Tessa was saying before she got interrupted by one of the kids.

" Guess what, I have a solution for you" I said

"Really?" Audrey asked

" Yeah, you know my Aunt Linda, she's opened a new business. Holiday for kids, and trust me Aunt Linda is really fond of kids" I said

" You can say that again, I can't forget the last time we went over, she wouldn't let us leave" Audrey said

" Exactly, so are you in?" I asked

" Definitely, in" she said

" So it's a girl's trip" I said

" Let pack and go" Audrey said

" And don't forget the ticket" Audrey added

"I won't" I said before hanging up

That was nice,I can't wait. I was feeling a bit sleepy so I quickly ordered the ticket online even though I was kind of closing my eyes I managed to do it as I saw successful I laid in bed and slept off.

The next morning, I woke up and saw it was 7:05. OMG! I have to tell the family, I have to help Tessa drop the kids, and I have to pack.

I rushed into the bathroom and in no time I was out, I slid into a off white offshoulder jumpsuit, I wore Snickers and packed me hair.

" Good morning family" I said rushing downstairs

" What's the occasion?" Dad asked

" We're going on a family vacation to Valencia"I said

" When?" Mum asked

" I think in two hours time, our flight is 9am" I said

" You didn't tell us anything" layani said

" I forgot, but you still have one hour and 30 minutes to pack" I said and the table became empty.

" Laila, did you see my eyepencil?" Mum asked

" No, I'm looking for my pink lace top" layani said as the moved hatter scatter.

I sighed before taking my car keys and headed out of town to Tessa's place.

"Are you ready?" I asked as I stood at her front door

" Yeah,this is Mick, Nick, Rick, Bick, Fick, Vick, Wick, Zick. Kids say hi to Aunt Luna"she said as they came out one after the other.

" So which one is your kid?" I asked

" All of them" she said

" Oh, so let's going" I said and they squeezed themselves in the car.

Their noise was super annoying, I was so glad we reached Aunt Linda place on time.

" Not to worry, I'll take very good care of them and also...

" Tnx, bye" I said zooming off cutting her shut

" That was rude," Tessa said and I gave her the' should we go back' look and she laughed.

" Time for some fun" I said as we zoomed to the airport.
