16 A Different Demon School DarkFall

"My name is Kyle and I am the chair demon of demon school DarkFall" he said looking into Riley's eyes.

The boys stiffened upon hearing this.

"Demon school DarkFall?" Kai said baffled.

"Your the chair demon?" Louis with a similar expression said unsurely.

"Why do you look so surprised and confused. Surely you must have known about the school you decided to attend" one of the two that had entered the hall with chair demon Kyle said. By his glowing yellow eyes you could tell he was a shapeshifter. The other one was much smaller compared to the two but his demeanor was no less frightening with that snow white hair that reminded Riley of Lincoln's similar hair color.

"So he is the chair demon. Who are you two?" Lincoln said with little interest in the matter.

"Watch your tongue my little junior" Jasper who was out of sight suddenly reappeared, "beside lord chair demon Kyle is vice lord chair demon Lucas and dean of discipline lord Axel" he said.

Axel was the shapeshifter and Lucas was the one with snowy hair.

"Dean of discipline? What's that?" Niklaus who also had a similar nonchalant expression as Lincoln asked cluelessly.

As Riley recalled back at their original dimension there was no dean of discipline or vice chair.

"…Are you really that oblivious?!" Jasper asked in disbelief.

"So are they like very important and stuff? Actually never mind that, can you tell us where the cafeteria is? You do have one right?" Louis asked and as if on cue all five demons held their stomachs as it growled.

"That's right.. I haven't eaten anything…I'm starving" Riley said as all the energy and power he was releasing suddenly rushed back into his body and he became dizzy.

"Young master?" Lincoln called as his eyes widened in fear.

"Riley!"

"Riley!"

Riley could hear Lincoln, Niklaus and Kai shouting but he felt too weak to respond. His vision became blurry and he was losing his balance. Before Riley could fall to the floor, chair demon Kyle caught him in his arms.

Kai, Lincoln, Niklaus and Louis all rushed to his side.

"His breathing is stable, it's fine he's just sleeping" Niklaus said sighing in relief.

"Don't scare us like that" Kai said looking at Riley who was soundly asleep in chair demon Kyle's arm.

In a dungeon lord Vincent was chained after being whipped continuously.

"Are you still refusing to cooperate" the sadistic voice of a powerful demon said tauntingly.

"Cooperate? Is that a joke, why would I ever agree to work under you! And lets not forget what you did to my school you bastard" Vincent said in rage.

It wasn't long after the bright light separated Vincent, Kerr and Darien from Riley's group that they were trapped in handcuffs that drained their powers tremendously. They were knocked unconscious and each separately taken to a different location.

"Are we still going on about that pathetic school? You could as least be a little more grateful that I allowed five of those brats to live. I even made sure they safely made it to another school unharmed although, I'll admit I didn't expect the prisoner Lincoln to just suddenly have a change in heart and join those brats."the taunting demon said.

"Then there is that boy with the double red, you people from your dimension cared so much for and even considered it a very esteemed and powerful color, but in our dimension any demon who possess such a color is immediately deemed a weak demon. I have no idea where the brat came from or how he went unnoticed by me up until now but I really don't care to worry about such unnecessary things" he continued.

Vincent couldn't help the dark chuckle that erupted from his lips upon hearing this.

The sadistic demon stopped and looked at Vincent who was laughing as though he had just been told the funniest thing.

"Have you finally gone mad" the sadistic demon said.

"The color red?" Vincent laughed, "I don't care if you think it weak or not, however, you should fear the demon that wears it well"

"The color red is not just a color used to simply signify ones strength or the power they possess…" Vincent said.

"What nonsense are you spouting?" the sadistic demon asked.

"Do you want to know?…do you want to know the true meaning behind red?"

Not caring to wait for his response Vincent repeated the words his father had long ago taught him.

"The color red is the warning of a storm. And for the demon that wears it well, he will be crowned the king of hell"

Vincent knew more than anyone that Riley would most definitely stir up trouble in any event. I mean, he did manage to cause quite the commotion back at their dimension when it was only his first day of school. Vincent chuckled at the thought.

"What utter nonsense. I have a spy keeping an eye on them and besides those brats won't be able to survive much longer" the sadistic demon said.

Vincent said nothing as he only stared at the demon with indifference in his eyes. This action must have greatly irritated the sadistic demon as he pulled out a whip and started to inflict multiple wounds on Vincent once again.

Riley soon woke up and what greeted him were Kyle's eyes staring at him.

"What happened?" Riley asked.

"You were hungry and exhausted your powers" Kyle explained.

"Okay. Where is everyone and where are we?" Riley asked.

"We are in my office and your friends are currently in the waiting room. They had refused to go to the cafeteria to eat until you woke up" Kyle said.

Kyle had originally planned to leave Riley at the healers office but decided against it as he quite liked how comfortable Riley seemed in his arms.

"Of all the first years that were at the orientation hall, you surprised me the most. You and your friends will be starting your studies at demon school DarkFall as of tomorrow" Kyle informed.

"Tomorrow…" Riley said trailing off as he remembered something, "we need a place to stay first."

"What are you talking about? Is it that you don't have a house? Where are your parents?" Kyle asked.

"We don't have anywhere to go and I don't know where my dad is " Riley said.

"What about your mother or relatives?" Kyle asked.

"I don't have a mother and neither do I have relatives. I only had my dad" Riley said.

Chair demon Kyle stared at Riley for a moment before he kissed Riley's forehead.

"Then you will stay with me" Kyle said, "and as for your friends I will place them under Lucas's care."
