10 Plan B

That night, Lim Xian and his set of friends have gone clubbing to an exclusive club owned by his friend Liu Yang once their classes for today are over.

Music blared on the four corners of the establishment as the four of them make their way in. People on the dance floor were literally crashing each other's bodies as more guests came in to join. However, it didn't take long before the presence of the newly-arrived customers stood out and were immediately recognized by the crowd, causing some of them to stop from what they're doing..

"Geez. I'm sick and tired of this place already!" Lim Xian complained as he watched all the people gathering on the dancefloor like wild animals. "All I could see is people shaking their bodies like there's no tomorrow. Seriously, what's so great about clubbing anyway?"

As the owner of the club that Lim Xian just commented, Liu Yang purposely cleared his throat first to somehow remind his friend that he owns this place before grabbing some random chick on their way to the VIP lounge.

"This is the best thing about clubbing. Random chicks to keep you company, with good food plus entertainment. Isn't that right, boys?"

The other ones present in the lounge bobbed their heads up and down to agree with Liu Yang's statement, but Lim Xian only wrinkled his nose.

"We often come here every after class aside from our hangout place in school. I'm already sick and tired of this place." Lim Xian continued to complain. He is the type of person who is not really into loud and boisterous places such as this.

Wang Qing He grabbed his buddy's arm and used his other hand to point at all the ladies that are eyeing him.

"See those girls over there? They're the best thing about clubbing. Why don't you pick one and have fun for the rest of the night?"

Lim Xian frowns at his friend's idea. "Pass. I'd rather have a bottle of beer instead to keep me company."

Wang Qing He kinda expects this kind of reply from their buddy who is really clueless when it comes to approaching a girl. To make things more interesting here, Wang Qing He approaches Yang Shunyuan, who is now comfortably seated on his left with a girl clinging beside him, and whispers something in his ear. The latter smirked after that and turned to face Lim Xian by the time he started chugging his beer.

"Perhaps we could call your special girl to come by and visit us here?" Yang Shunyuan said teasingly to intentionally piss their friend off.

That immediately worked on the ever-ill-tempered Lim Xian and glared at Shunyuan. Even though Shunyuan hadn't mentioned any names, Lim Xian already knows who he is pertaining to.

"Stop talking nonsense! There is nothing about her that is special." Lim Xian bellows and makes another chug of his own beer.

Liu Yang also knows who this girl they are referring to and turned to face his friends. "So, about this girl of yours, Xian, now that she has sort of overcome our trials and still remained in school and in your house… what else have you got to drive her off from her job?"

Before answering him, Lim Xian makes a loud bang on their table as he slapped his glass with force. Just by merely thinking about that girl makes his blood boil for some reason.

"I don't know yet, dude! It's like, no matter what I do, she will just remain in my life, like a leech that's been sucking on my father's money. She is just purely annoying!"

Then, as if remembering something, Lim Xian tilted his head and glared at Liu Yang.

"Hey, isn't this your idea in the first place? Why is it not working?"

"Hey, don't blame me!" Liu Yang shrugged. "I don't know that this girl could be tough, whoever she is!"

"I heard that she's a scholar, right?" Shunyuan says suddenly. "I did a brief background check on her. Why don't we just remove her scholarship and then… poof! She'll be gone in your life just like that!"

Lim Xian only snickers at the idea. "I may look like a demon on the outside, but I am not that heartless yet! That is just purely evil."

"I know right? That even makes it more fun--"

"Shut it, Shunyuan! That's never going to happen!"

Lim Xian only shakes his head disapprovingly and makes another sip of his beer and heaves a satisfying "aaahh" afterward.

There was a moment of silence between these guys after Xian's last statement. All of them, except the latter, spared attention to their partners for tonight.

A few seconds later, Liu Yang suddenly mentions dancing with her partner and hurriedly scurries away from the group, in which Yang Shunyuan also follows alongside with his partner.

Now that there's only Lim Xian and Wang Qing He left, none of them talked for a while. Wang Qing He got bored with his partner immediately and saw to it to drive her out of their lounge before going back to sit beside his pal.

"If you really wanted to kick that girl out of her job and out of your house…" Wang Qing He suddenly spoke out loud that immediately caught Lim Xian's attention.

"Why don't you try making the girl fall in love with you?"

Lim Xian, on the other hand, was just midway to making another sip of his beer when his hand froze for a while. In his opinion, this is another stupid idea that he is not willing to risk doing it.

"And what kind of nonsense is that huh?"

Wang Qing He Ignored his friend's sarcastic remark and carried on.

"Imagine this. If this maid of yours has totally fallen in your charms, you can eventually break her heart afterward. Once that happens, she would be the one forcing herself out of your house and out of your life seeing how awkward things might be if she still continues working with you. Does that make sense to you now?"

That somehow enlightened Lim Xian for a bit. Among all his buddies, Wang Qing He sure could be the one that makes total sense from the rest of them.

"Say, that is actually not a bad idea." Lim Xian now starts to smirk as he is already envisioning Li Meilin falling in love with him and bawling her eyes out eventually as she drags her luggage along with her as she takes her leave from their house.

Finally, Lim Xian has found a way to totally boot that annoying girl out of his life-- once and for all.
