A short time had passed as everyone had finally gotten to the main campus and had taken their seats. Soon the teacher in the room began handing everyone their tests and they passed them back to each other from behind. Soon everyone had their test and began to get to work.

'Here we go, things are about to get interesting. What's cool about it was that while we were taking the exams separately, we were all in this together. There are the people we fight along side, the people we fight against, the ones that want us to lose the ones who wanted us to win, almost feels like an arena.'

Suddenly the whole room changed into exactly an arena with lots of seats going up, almost like the Roman Coliseum.

'We might be assassins but right now, we have to fight like gladiators.

Eric then picked up a hammer that was sitting on a rack as a giant green monster with horns with a number on its ahead appeared from the ground. Eric readied his hammer but he was a little shaken but then he saw someone out of the corner of his eyes. It was Eddy and Double D to his left and Ed to his right. He then felt a hand on his shoulder as he turned around to see Yada standing tall right behind him and saw the rest of class as well, ready to battle. He then turned back to the problem and readied himself.

Another day, another bell. Round one begin. Here we go.'

Out in E-class, Korosensei stood proud and tall as he gazed out over the grass in the direction of the school as the wind blew past him.

He grinned his normal smile as he said "Tests are splendid. The knowledge soaked up by those eager minds in preparation may be forgotten once the dust has settled......but se-la-vie" paused Korosensei as he then smiled happily as he continued saying "The character building thrill of competition the privilege of honing ones mind to a fine point, the ecstasy of giving it your all. That's the treasure."

Back in the class, Eric was battling the monstrous question that had attacked him with its full power.

'Oh man. The midterms had nothing on this.'

Eric looked out at the field and could see some of his classmates were struggling to do battle as well.

'I mean, I know that this is a top school. They start throwing advanced stuff like this for third years but damn.'

Everyone began writing down and working hard on the tests. Eric could see that they were sweating hard but he had faith that they could do it.

'English, math, science, the whole shebang. And we're expected to move at lighting speed. Well this is the moment of truth here. Good luck everyone.'

(The opening starts with the crescent moon as it gradually change to Korosensei's head. Then Ed, Double D, Eddy and Eric appeared upside down with their names shown as they fall and tried to attack Korosensei as he panicked before dust picks up around them as the title appeared.)

Welcome Back, Mr. ED!

(The scene start with Eric waking up in bed as he gets up and gets ready for school. As he walk out of his room, Eddy and Double D were at the living room while the latter was preparing breakfast. He look around only to see that Ed's not up yet so he went to his room to wake him up, only to find that he was not here and saw his window was open.)

{TARGET, sagashite bokura wa satsubatsu}

(Eric panicked and ran out of his room to tell Eddy and Double D that Ed's gone. Eddy groaned in frustration while Double D worried about him, Eric ran back in to his room and came out with his uniform on and a toothbrush in his mouth. Double D quickly pack small breakfast along with their lunches before they head out to find Ed.)

{Nan nanda iraira no hadō wa}

(Scene changes to Eric opens a fridge of their neighbor's house and found Ed sleeping in his underwear and half eaten food. Eddy laughed while Eric took Ed out of the fridge and slaps him back and forth to wake him up. Double D look at the time and finds that they are going to be late for school, Eric and Double D panicked while Eddy groaned as Ed woke up from Eric's slapping before he was pulled by Eric and ran out the door along with Eddy and Double D.)

(The Eds and Eric, with Ed now in his uniform, rushing to the train station but they missed the train. As Eric and Double D mope in depression, Eddy yelled at Ed before he had an idea as he grabbed Ed the the other two. They're now at a park as they sitting in a box with a tree that is cartoonishly pulled down like rubber below them while Ed was holding the tree down by sinking his teeth in another tree. Double D was calculating their trajectory while Eddy was getting impatient and Eric was starting to regret it. Double D conclude that they would land in the field behind the building but isn't sure about it. Eddy isn't surprised as he signals Ed to let go as they're launch in the air heading to towards school.)

(Eddy, Double D and Eric screamed while Ed laugh as they flew through the sky. Then Eric saw Korosensei flying by as he pulled out his anti-sensei knife and tries to kill him but no avail as Korosensei sped up ahead of them.)

(Meanwhile in E-Class, Yada was sitting by her desk and glance at Eric's desk in front of her as class was about to start. Korosensei arrives through the window and begun roll call, Yada asked him if he seen the Eds and Eric this morning making Rio teased her about it as she blushed in embarrassment. Korosensei answers as the Eds and Eric crashed through the roof and landed in the floor next to Korosensei, surprising the students.)

(Ed recoiled from the floor as he pulled the other three out with him as the class aside from Korosensei look at them with white eyes and jaws dropped. Korosensei tells them to take their seats as Ed lets go of them and went to their designated desk thus begins class.)

EDventure #19 — "Time to test our Eds"

Everyone was getting serious with this test especially A and E class. The questions were tough but they all knew they had to pull through. They needed to win. E-class more so than anyone. Everyone battled the questions like heroes battling monsters.

A-class was taking the test and the big 5 all smirked as they thought they knew the questions.

"Oh your adorable. I know the card catalog backwards and forwards, you don't scare me. The E-class scrubs on the other hang are SOL" said Seo as he swung his hammer at the beast, answering the question. But it seemed that his answer was incorrect as it didn't phase the beast at all.

"What?" exclaimed Seo as he stumbled back saying "Why aren't you out of commission. That's quote from Huck Finn right?"

Suddenly he heard footsteps running towards and past him. It was Rio and she then jumped up and knocked the question beast out as she said "You got to learn how to relax. Seriously, grow up with a good book once in a while" as the beast disappeared.

She had answered it right.

Seo stood there in amazement as he thought "She actually got it right?! Are you kidding me?!"

Rio smirked at she looked back and said "What, you don't know Catcher in the Rye. Oh wait, it's not a text book why would you" as she mocked the boy.

Back at the E-class building Korosensei was looking over the schools test and said,

"My, these are some excellent questions. Good on them. I'm impressed. This isn't some wrote class lit query. The students asked to take an infamously thorny 20th century text and correct a misquoted passage" said Korosensei as he and Irina looked at the tests with intrigue.

"And Salinger no less. He wrote in a style reflective of his angsty teenage protagonist natural voice" said Korosensei as Eddy came running up behind a question beast and answered it correctly, no problems at all.

"Heh. That quote was Child's play. Where's the real challenge here" he said as he landed on the ground in confidence as the beast went down.

Seo grumbled at how he lost as he thought "Damn it. The lit teacher only mentioned that book in passing. We never went over the stupid thing" as he recalled seeing the book written on the chalkboard in his classroom in the past but they never went over it.

Eric finished his question beast as he looked back and saw Seo all angry and smirked as he said "Oh, so no one recommended it to you. That's a darn shame. Seems like you need a literate octopus to push yourself outside your comfort zone, loser" mocked Eric as he ran off after another problems as he remembered what Korosensei had taught them about the book.

"Holden Caulfield rebellious spirit is enthralling. An absolute must for boys and girls your age. I recommend following it up with a clockwork orange. Mind blowing" he chanted as everyone sweat dropped at his praise of the books.

"Damn it" was all Seo thought as he saw the rest of E-class working hard.

Out on a different part of the battle field, Koyama was battling against science, which he thought he knew so well.

"Yea bring it on science" yelled Koyama as he challenged another question beast but this time it was in the form of a giant knight with bulky armor. He focused his power on the question but it didn't seem to work. It then began charging at him and swiped its sword at him.

He panicked as he said "But I memorized everything. Why can't it get the armor to come off."

Suddenly he looked over and saw Double D and Okuda standing on top of another knight question but it had its helmet off and it showed a squishy, light green looking blob for its head.

"Its not that simple" she said as she turned her attention to Double D.

Double D nodded and said "How do we put this, dear science follower. Science isn't just the thought process of memorization. Sure, you stand on the shoulders of giants, but the whole point of this process is to see further than they did. What our fellow scientists saw in the past but left for us to find out on our own. Truly great minds were scientists back in the day" he said as the question appeared on its head and he tapped it with his staff and the answer was correct.

Okuda nodded as the beast began to take off its armor and she said "You have to think for yourself. Make your own discoveries and go beyond your own capabilities" as the knight took off its armor and began skipping away as a naked green body, happily, which just made Koyama sweat drop in awkwardness.

"More importantly, like Korosensei taught me, communicate. That way the new person can stand on your shoulders" thought Okuda as she and Double D looked at each other and smiled as they pointed their staffs out and said "Onward" and ran towards other science problems.

Araki was rolling in the dirt because of the problem beast ahead of him, which was a giant beast on all fours, but it had a tank on its head with the number 47 on it

"This is ridiculous!" he said as he laid on the ground as he grunted in pain.

"How am I suppose how many times the Tokyo international conference on African development is met?" he said as he gazed in fear at the question.

But Isogai ran in and swiped his sword at the question and answered right but just at a close second.

"Whew. That was a close shave but lucky for me I do know how times they've met" said Isogai as he laid his sword on his right shoulder.

Araki groaned as he said "Oh come on! What are the chances?!"

Isogai just smiled as he said "I know coincidence. Though, I happen to sympathize with Africa's poverty issues. See the thing is, my family is dirt poor so I kind of get it" said Isogai as he remembered how his family had to turn off all their power even when he had to study to save money. Then he remembered one night when Korosensei popped by his window.

"Hey lets go on an adventure" he said as he took Isogai away from home and flew all the way to Africa as he screamed at how fast he was going "Theres no time like the present" yelled Korosensei as they flew on their way.

"I actually got a chance to go there recently. Its a fascinating place. You should visit" said Isogai as he ran off away from Araki.

Ed was struggling a lot with a few of the beast questions but he wasn't doing too bad. But then he came across a samurai looking question and the way it looked reminded him of a scene in one of the books that Korosensei made for him as he eyes turned into a static tv as he recalled seeing Korosensei carefully draw out this quote for Ed to understand.

"Oh, oh, oh I know this one" said Ed as he jumped up and down in excitement. He then opened his mouth and pulled out a big, long stick with a curved blade at the end.

He then closed his eyes as he stuck his tongue out and remembered what it had said.

"Spring has gone away and summer came, it would seem. From those white hemp ropes, laid to dry in the sunlight. On Cogu's Heavenly hill" he said as he swung the blade through the samurai question and it disappeared in a poof of petals.

Ren just laughed and said "Ha. I never took an idiot like you to know something as advanced as that. Sorry there stupid, but sloppy modern syntax is not a satisfactory make on the finals" he said as he charged at another question.

He swung his blade the question and was about to smirk and critique on Ed but it didn't seem to work as the beast swung its blade at him causing him to duck and fall down.

"What?! That wasn't it?! But what is it then? I don't remember that part of our assignments" said Ren. But then he saw Ed was running towards the beast and swung his blade.

"All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us" said Ed as he was able to cut the beast down.

Which meant his answer was was correct.

"What but how?!" exclaimed Ren as he was speechless.(Pun intended)

Ed smiled as he said "Its from my favorite fantasy series, The Lord of the Rings from J.R.R Tolkien. You should read it" said Ed as he began running away in his trademark run.

Back in A-class, Gakushu was waiting for the last test which was math.

"Mathematics. Akabane is a member of E-class, isn't he? He placed 2nd on the midterms, right next to me. Quite an accomplishment for a slacker, huh. Commendable but not intimidating. You see I am anything but a slacker" thought Gakushu as he began to prepare himself.

Back with E-class, Karma looked at everyone scurrying their hands around and writing down things fast and in a panicked way.

He just smirked as he thought, "Ah how cute. Look at them all so panicked. So hell bent on not screwing up" he thought as he had entered the battle with Gakushu at his side but instead of having a hammer or a sword, he had a freaking machine instead. Lucky.

"The key to true victory is learning how not to take the game so seriously" as the gates opened and the both of them gazed out at the questions and the crowd. "It doesn't matter how hard your opponent works if you're better than them. This should be fun."

It was coming down to the wire and everyone was working hard to try and get the answers right as best they could.

'2 days of testing. 2 days of putting it all on the line. Everything we're trying to do either lives or dies by the number of circles we get. Hope one of those circles won't become a noose on our wager and we lose.'

The Next Day (June 19)

It was the next day and everyone sat at their desks with anticipation.

This was it.

Their scores were just inside a brown envelope.

Korosensei slithered in as he pulled out the envelops and said "Alrighty class. This is it. The test scores are in."

'Everyone was nervous and rightfully so. We had to win if we were going to prove that we can be just as good as them. Here's hoping we didn't screw up.'

Korosensei began untying the brown envelop as he said "Without further ado, the English portion" as he opened it up and reached in and grabbed a paper.

He looked over it then said to the entire class "First in E-class..." as he had a sudden pause but continued saying "Oh ho. First in the entire grade..." which took everyone by surprise.

He waited in anticipation as he then yelled "Rio Nakamura!"

Everyone turned to her in amazement as she began fanning herself with her folder as she grinned as she said "Thats right."

"Whoo. You showed them, didn't you girl" cheered Eddy.

"Yep. I know. Lets just say your little idea last night really made me up my game. Thanks a lot, Eddy" said Rio as she winked at him.

Eddy had a slight blush but played it off saying "Yea, I do inspire, don't I?" in his confident way.

Korosensei interrupted their conversation by saying "Bravo, my dear. I glad to see that my misgivings about your enthusiasm were unfounded" as Rio began walking up to him and handed her her paper.

Rio held her chin in her thumb and forefinger as she said "Hey, nothing comes between this girl and the promise of cash."

Eric chuckled as he said "Hey Eddy. I found your exactly match" which made Eddy blush and just look away from him as Eric just giggled.

Rio heard what he said and grew a blush too but she shook it off as she said "There is a matter of your tentacle. Right, you haven't forgotten?"

Korosensei's head changed to his red circle as he sheepishly said "Perish the thought."

He then reached into the folder again and quickly gave the rest of the class their papers.

"Eric. Good show over all but it seems we have an incy tincy problem with your spelling. Something to be worked on" he said while Eric looked at some of his problems.

Korosensei then turned over to Ed and said "Ed. I have to say I am impressed that you remembered some of the quotes from the tough stories we all read together. But we need to work on you not drawing on some of the questions" said Korosensei.

"What?!" said Eric as he leaned over and saw on question 16, he drew a pirate ship, and not the answer.

Eric grew tick mark as he said "Ed, what have I told you. Only draw pictures when we're at home or during art class. Not on anything else" yelled Eric as he clobbered Ed over the back of his head as Ed just simply said "Ow."

"Calm down Eric. He didn't do too bad but he still needs a lot of work to do. Nothing that won't challenge me to try harder" chanted Korosensei as he pointed at his "chest" while his red circle face came back.

'Well Ed might still be not the brightest but he's improving. Guess that's all I can ask for.'

"Alright In the meantime, as agreed top marks in a given subject equal one tentacle down" said Korosensei as he placed a small flag on one of his tentacles as it said on it "To be Destroyed."

"So let's keep pouring over the grades to see if I'll lose more" he said as he reached into the next envelop and pulled out Japanese.

"Next is Japanese" as he pulled out the paper and said "First in E-class is.......Yukiko Kanzaki."

Kanzaki gasped at how good she did but then Korosensei said "But I'm afraid first in the entire grade goes to A-class's, Gakushu Asano. Still, you gave the principal son a run for his money" he said as he handed her her paper.

"Guys a know it all. Total douche" complained Maehara as he leaned his head on his hand.

"No kidding. Nakamura only beat him in English by the skin of her teeth" said Mimura.

"Classic type A personality. Guess that's the reason he's ranked nationally, huh" said Isogai.

"All of the big 5 jerks are ranked nationally" said Kimura.

"Asano's king of the hill. Nobody gets to the top without gettin through him first" said Mimura as he and the rest looked at their papers.

Korosensei then grabbed their attention as he said "Moving on to the next subject. In social studies, first in E-class goes to.....Yuma Isogai. As for first in the grade" said Korosensei as he stoped for dramatic affect but then said "Duh, duh duh duh. You beat out Asano for the top spot" said Korosensei as his face grew his red circle again.

Yuma Isogai jumped in excitement as everyone congratulated him.

"Excellent job. Especially considering the fiendish questions they threw at you" said Korosensei as he congratulated him.

Fuwa was currently writing down the scores as she then said "Right now, we're two to one."

"Whoa, really. So then who won for science? Double D? Okuda?" asked Eric as he looked at Double D then Okuda.

Korosensei looked at the paper and said "First in E-class for science goes to....." he waited but then looked at the score and then went ".....Oh ho ho! First place with the same score" which really grabbed everyones attention.

"...Double D and Manami Okuda. Outstanding, you both are the ones who made the top grade with the exact score of 100" said Korosensei as he held their papers high in the air in praise.

Hearing this made everyone jump high in the air. Never had two people in the same class gotten the same score.

Eric jumped for joy as he said "Yes, I know you could do it Double D" but he saw how nervous he was from getting all the attention.

"Uhh well, it was..... nothing everyone. It wasn't.... a challenge for me" he said while shaking but then he was hugged from behind, to which he turned and saw Okuda smiling.

"Thank you Double D. It was because of your help that I had more confidence in myself. Your help in showing me how to work with other subjects made me feel better about myself. Thank you" said Okuda but, in the heat of the moment, she gave him a kiss on the cheek as a sign of appreciation.

That seemed to be too much as Double D's face grew bright red and fainted to the floor.

"And ya broke him. Thanks" said Eric in an annoyed tone as he looked down at the fainted Double D. Okuda just blushed as she saw all the surprised faces and it too was overwhelming for her and she fainted to.

"Good grief" said Eric as he picked up Double D and laid him in his seat while Toka did the same with Okuda.

"Right. Anyways, guys that's three to one guys" said Fuwa in excitement.

"Do we even need to know who made it in math. E-class killed it. No questions asked" chanted Sugaya.

Double D and Okuda shook off their blushes and grabbed their papers and went back to their desks.

"Good job, you two. You've both have earned that tentacle. They're yours" cheered Okajima.

"Yes, now A-class has to do whatever we tell them" cheered Kimura.

"Yea they do" cheered Kurahashi.

"That just leaves mathematics" said Takebayashi as he moved up his glasses.

'Wow. This is awesome. I knew Double D would win but who knew that we would win, 3 out 5 of the subjects. But I had to wonder, who did win at math.'

Main campus

The one who won in math was Gakushu but he didn't seem to care as he was storming down the hall in anger. They lost their wager, which also means that have to do whatever E-class told them to do and he lost his chance to figure out what his Dad was hiding about E-class.

"We're 3 in 2 across all 5 subjects. The untouchables handed us out asses. This is it, we're dead" complained Koyama to the other members of the big 5.

"We still beat them on overall scores. Stop being a wuss could have been a lot worse. What are they going to do" said Seo, but he was upset that he couldn't get back at Eric for slugging him like that.

"Eh. At least the jerk that stole 4 place from me is choking on humble pie. Cocky little fool. talk about bringing a knife to a gun fight. Guy didn't even compete" said Ren, which in turn.......

......He was talking about Karma.

Karma's scores weren't looking so hot. He placed 10th place in Math. And placed 13th place in year 3. This really ticked him off as he was standing underneath the tree, as he clutched his papers and grunted in anger at how bad he did. He was normally better than this. And yet, his scores said otherwise.

'In some ways, I felt bad for him. He was a hard worker. But he kept ingoring all the signs I had warned about. I said we were going up against A-class and they were going to pull all their stops to make sure we didn't do good. And yet he didn't listen. It's his own fault for being so cocky.'

Karma continued to grunt in anger at how bad he did until a voice brought him out of his thoughts.

"Never underestimate your target. Particularly when it has a monopoly on grade point averages" which he didn't to turn around to know it was Korosensei.

"The best scores in E class went to Kataoka, Double D, and Takebayashi. Both admirably tied for 7th place while Double D went for first in E-class. Not surprising. They studied hard as did your opponents in A Class, which is to be expected. These finals were nothing to sneeze at. Ones only chance was to study. Even Eric had mentioned this on several occasions. And I've applauded him for doing so" said Korosensei.

"What are you trying to say teach?" said Karma in a low voice.

Korosensei slowly peaked his way around the tree he was at as he said "Someone thought they could coast by on luck and a carefree attitude and managed to royally screw it up" in a teasing way, which Karma blush bright red in embarrassment.

Principals Office

"My congratulations on retaining the top rank. Or so I would like to say. If not for your idiotic wager. Instead, let me offer my condolences. Indeed, it must be devastating to realize your loss has made you a laughing stock of the entire school. What a pickle you're in" said Asuno as he faced away from him but began to turn around in his seat and face him as he said "Shall I step in on my sons behalf."

This made Gakushu angry as he growled saying "Thanks but no."

Asuno just smiled as he said "Have it your way" as he stood up from his chair to his son as he said "What was that you said about me finding myself at the end of a leash. You'd hope to finagle E-class into divulging my secrets, didn't you" as he stopped right by his son.

He then began to slowly turn his head to the side as he said "They aren't yours to find, boy. I won't be ensnared by a welp who can't win a bet against his peers."

This just made Gakushu angry as he gritted his teeth at his fathers words, and well frankly, everything that's happened the past few days.

Back at E-class, Korosensei kept talking to Karma about his blunders.

"4 of your classmates each have a claim to one of my tentacles. Nakamura, Isogai, Double D, and Okuda. You, on the other hand, have nothing. Which is only fair as that's exactly what your carefree, noncommittal attitude has contribute to the cause. See where I'm going with this" said Korosensei, mocking Karma.

Korosensei's face then turned to his green stripped one and began pocking at Karma's head as he said "Those who fail to apply themselves who at the moment of truth decide to sit back and let the chips fall where they may are destined for disappointment" as he began moving around and kept poking at Karma's head as Karma's blush turned into one of anger.

"Dull as the blade of the lazy assassin. In fact, I wouldn't call him an assassin at all. A blowhard and a bragger perhaps but an assassin, I think not" finished Korosensei as Karma had had enough and brushed his tentacles away and stormed off away from him.

Karasuma had heard everything and walked over to Korosensei and said "Hey. Don't you think that was a bit harsh?"

Korosensei kept staring at Karma walking away as he then said "Of course, it had to be. I cut him down so he would spring back up" said Korosensei as Karasuma looked at Karma walking away.

"The boy is enormously talented, there is no question there. But he is a novice. He hasn't learned how to be worthy of that talent. He refuses to meet any challenge except on his own terms. He doesn't see the true value of competition. To a young person, for whom everything comes easily, the pain of defeat can be a much needed wake up call" said Korosensei as he then turned around and began slowly slithering past Karasuma.

"On the surface the whole concept of exams may seem arbitrary, but deep down, its not about grades, it's about rising to the occasion. It's about tasting the rapture in triumph and disgrace of failure."

"They go hand in hand you see. One is meaningless without the other. To win, one has to lose" chanted Korosensei, as he moved out into the open as he held out his tentacles.

"The difference between the novice and the master is that the master has failed more times than the novice has tried."

It was the next day at E-class and it was now homeroom. Korosensei had made it to school and slithered his way to the front of the class.

"Okey, dokey class. A fine showing on the finals. You managed to snag the top spot in 3 of the 5 subjects" said Korosensei, while Eric looked back and saw Karma acting all casual but he knew that he was still hurt from the finals. Toka saw him looking back and knew what he was thinking.

'Poor Karma. But can't say we knew it might happen. But maybe he can use this to be better.'

"Lets get this assassination attempt under weigh, shall we. The top four students can pick whichever tentacle they'd like" said Korosensei as he held up 4 tentacles with the signs "TO BE DESTROYED."

But deep down, he was thinking '4 tentacles I can live without, but 6. Whew. That would be a tad sketchy' he thought in relief but his thoughts were interrupted by Terasaka and his gang walking forwards.

"Hold up Octopus!" exclaimed Terasaka as he carried some papers in his hands.

"Huh?" said Korosensei as he was confused but his comment.

"What's this BS about us only having the top 3 spots" he said in question but also in a demanding voice.

Korosensei was confused by what he was trying to say so he leaned forward and said "Uh I believe all subjects have been accounted for" as he then began counting on his tentacles.

"Uh English, science, social studies, um....."

"Nice try, I dont think so" said Terasaka as he swatted away his tentacles, which made Korosensei look at him.

Terasaka pulled up the papers he had and said "English, science, social studies, and let's not forget Home EC. We aced them. Read them and weep" as he threw his papers on the podium, showing that they all had 100% on all of home EC.

This shocked Korosensei as he went "WAHH Home EC" exclaimed Korosensei. They all got 100% on Home EC and they were pretty confident and proud of themselves for it. All 1st in 3 year too.

Terasaka and the others smirked as he said "Hey, if it was covered on the finals, then it counts."

"What do you know, the idiot pulled his weight. I'm proud of us" said Hazama as she gave a sarcastic smile.

Korosensei was nervous that they all placed 1st place all together as he then said "Now hold on, Home EC is a blow off course."

Everyone was surprised by what they had heard.

The Eds and Eric looked at each other in amazement but then Eddy gave him a smirk as he said "Hey, hang on teach. That was just plain rude. You ask me Home EC is straight up one of the most important classes. After all, we the Eds and Eric have made many food scams in the past. In fact, Eric here actually likes to cook because of them" as he pulled Eric over and wrapped his arm around Eric's shoulder and poked Eric's chest.

Eric groaned at the sudden grab and released himself from Eddy but soon realized what he was doing as he then began to fake cry as he then whimpered "So you're saying that my hobby of cooking is just something to blow off. Like it doesn't matter. You're mean, Korosensei" as he began to fake sob as he laid his head on his arms on his desk.

Yada could tell he was faking it but decided to go along with the act and said "Look what you did, Korosensei. You made Eric cry" but deep down, she knew he was fake crying but for some reason, seeing him fake crying reminded her of what she learned about Eric and how he actually cried when he told everyone about Akira and his eye.

She knew it was fake but still thinking about Eric crying again really hurt her. She didn't like seeing someone she cared about being sad like that. She didn't like seeing...him cry. Because her feelings for him had been growing since Okinawa, but she still wasn't sure if it was real or not. She wasn't sure if she truly began to like him or if she just felt bad for him. This was torture for her but she still wanted to know her true feelings.

But she was brought out of her thoughts by Eddy saying "In other words, you're not only spitting on past fun past times, you're also spitting on something that Eric likes to do. Shame on you" said Eddy as he grinned at Korosensei.

Maehara then said "Yea, Eddy's got a point. Look at you trying to cheat. Come on, be a man, ya big scaredy cat."

Ed then suddenly jumped on his table and began making chicken noises while kept saying "Octo-mans a chicken" "Octo-mans a chicken."

Soon everyone began joining and began saying things, making fun of Korosensei and him being chicken. Things like:

"Home EC is the toughest one and all 4 of them got top scores."

"Be a man and take it."

Kurahashi then jumped up as she said "That makes for 8 tentacles in all" which everyone then cheered at. Everyone except Korosensei.

"8. NOOOOOOO" he yelled in fear.

Eric stopped his fake crying and saw the Eds looking at him and they nodded at him, meaning they wanted him to tell Korosensei their plan.

Eric nodded and stood up and then said "Oh Korosensei" which made Korosensei stop shaking and look at Eric, as did everyone else.

He then began to reach into his bag and said "Me and Eds got our heads together and got this idea. You see, we were thinking we could use our wager with A-class to sweeten the pot" as he pulled out something they hadn't seen for a while....

The Master Plan

"Nani" said Korosensei as he blinked in confusion and worry.

It was a few days later and it was now the last day of class and all of E-class, even Karma, made it to the main campus.

'According to what I learned from Yada, the last day of class was always marked by a big assembly. And we had some unfinished business with a few A-Holes. Heh, I just realized what I did there.'

The Big 5 were walking to the gym but they weren't smiling, nor did they seem to be very happy.

"Hey hey, lookie here" said a voice, which turned out to be Terasaka and his group standing in front of the doorway.

"If it isn't Mr. Big man on campus himself" said Terasaka in a mocking tone.

Gakushu didn't have time for them and just walked past them as he said "Pardon me. Some of us have a ceremony to get to. I don't have time to indulge in the likes of you" but he was stopped by Terasaka grabbing hold on his shoulder.

"Woah woah woah. Not so fast there, slick. What's the hurry?" said Terasaka which Gakushu just turned away from him but there he saw all of E-class, waiting for them.

Eric stepped froward and said "We had a bet and last I checked, you lost. As much as we want to rub your faces in it, we have more important things to talk about. Don't go getting all stingy on us because you lost. That's just how it is. We sent you our demands through email. I assume you can make it happen" said Eric as he put his hands in his pocket.

"Assuming you can with how broken your reputation is" joked Eddy, but he got a chop to the head, curiosity of Eric.

"Enough Eddy. They get the point. Quit driving it in, already" he said in an annoyed tone.

Terasaka and his gang then stepped up and said "If you even try to play like none of this was for real, that's it. We'll throw in Home EC, too. Cause we mopped the floor with you in that too. Not like anyone is keeping score. Oh wait, never mind. Yea, they are" he said as he pointed with his thumb while the rest of his friends did a few weird poses or looks.

Back at E-class Irina and Korosensei were looking out the window as she was talking to him.

"Those kids got the better of you. That's got to sting a little" she said in a mocking way as she leaned on the window frame.

Korosensei sighed as he said "Let's be honest. The whole Home EC thing was splitting hairs but so be it. I'm honestly glad" as he gazed out the window in the direction of the campus.

He then began to think about other schools and how this one was different from the rest.

"Sure, no accredited university devotes space to Home EC on their entrance exams but that means home EC teachers have more freedom to create an exam based on personal taste. Preparing for something that arbitrary is a near impossible feat" he said in astonishment at how much his kids worked for a tentacle.

"The limits those extraordinary boys and girls stretch themselves to is amazing. For a leg up on the finals gives me pause. They found and successfully exploited the tiniest of loop holes just to make headway. Seasoned assassins could take a page from their book" said Korosensei as he smiled at how much his students have come in such a long way. Especially, the Eds and Eric.

Irina smiled at his admiration for the kids and just hummed "Hmm. You're so sweet" but then she realized where they were versus where the kids were.

"Why couldn't we got to the assembly again?" she asked.

"Mr Karasuma said our presence would be a distraction" said Korosensei as a butterfly flew by.

"Ugh. Yours maybe, calamari" complained Irina.

"Yours more likely, bitch" joked Korosensei as Irina just grew a tick mark in annoyance.

Back at the main campus, all of E-class was standing in 2 single file lines, while everyone else was scattered across the floor as they waited for the assembly to be over. But everyone was surprise to see Karma was there since he wasn't the last time.

"Karma. I'm surprised to see you here. Since when do you make time for stuff like this?" asked Isogai.

Karma just brushed off Isogai as he said "Not a big deal man. If I didn't put in an appearance, everyone would think I was just running away" which Isogai just confused at what he was saying.

Meanwhile, Eric was standing next to Nagisa and Kayano and he was going over the plans he put in the Master Plan he and the Eds had in mind for their little Assassination attempt.

"Now we'll need to talk to Karasuma about...."but his thoughts were interrupted by someone walking near them. They looked up and saw that weird girl who was Ritsu's proxy, or we should say fill-in.

Eric and the others were taken back by her weirdly popping out of nowhere, and especially since she was staring at Sugaya who was ahead of them.

Sugaya snuck away from the group and walked over to Mr Karasuma and said "Not to be that guy but Ritsu's stand in is giving me a serious case of the willies."

Karasuma groaned and said "Suck it up soldier. We can't afford to have the real thing exposed as a machine. Her stand in is my immediate supervisor's daughter, so ease up. Kid knows how to keep a secret. Her father agreed to this because Ritsu's tutoring got her grades up" he said trying to make Sugaya understand.

Sugaya just gave her a weirded out expression as he said "No offense but she's been hovering around me since finals. She's nice and everything but she's the reason I came in dead last" Sugaya said as he remembered how he came 95th out of 190 students. It used to be 186 but with the addition of the Eds and Eric, it went up 4.

"Dead last in E-class maybe. Which is still around average for the whole grade. Who would've thought. He's come a long way from the bottom" thought Karasuma as he looked out at the rest of the class and saw Ed talking with Fuwa as they were looking at some sort of comic book.

"Even Ed's improved since midterms. Not bad, Korosensei. Not bad at all. Anyone else would've thrown him out but you managed to find a way to help him. Gotta say I'm impressed" he thought.

"Vacation is no excuse for becoming lazy. Uh.....uh a few months of fun in the sun isn't worth landing in e-class" stuttered the man at the podium, trying mock the E-class but failing. Everyone D class and above were feeling awkward since they would normally laugh at the man making fun of e-class but after finals, the spark is just gone for them.

'His usual shots are bombing pretty hard. They all heard the end results of finals. We couldn't be ignored anymore. We're kind of hard to use as a negative example right now. Too bad Korosensei wasn't here to see this. He's the whole reason for standing tall. Gotta say, he may plan to blow up the earth in less than a year but he certainly knows how to teach a class.'

In the principals room, Asuno was looking at the security monitor as he focused on all of E-class which he was weirdly placed since the sunlight from the window was only shinning on E-class.

"The term comes to a close with E-class more aware of their potential. the whole school is more aware" as he looked and saw some of the students were growing nervous now. Even the Big 5 were nervous.

"The winds of change are stirring, fanning the flames of rebellion. And here we stand. My teaching methods function like they always do like a well oiled machine. And yet the underdogs threaten to become inspiration. A beacon. Absolutely unacceptable" finished Asuno as he clenched his fist.

Back at E-class

The assembly was over and the class had made it back to the classroom, expecting to come back and relax, only to be met with a total fricking nightmare.

More overly sized books were in the class now, but this time, the size of five sticking cinder blocks lined up together, made by Korosensei himself.

"One guide book for each of you" chanted Korosensei as he waved his tentacles over the books to emphasize on them.

"Doesn't get how to sum things up does he" complained Maehara as he carried the book like was carry a bag of corn.

"Feels like I'm playing an accordion" complained Okajima as he flipped through the pages.

"These barely begin to scratch the surface" said Korosensei as he handed Double D a book, only for him to come falling down to the ground.

"GUUUUGH. I think I coughed up my spleen" complained Double D under the weight of the book.

"DOUBLE D" yelled Ed as he and Eric ran over and lifted the book off of him.

Eric sighed as he said, "Sir, for future reference, don't let Double D carry heavy stuff. He's not there yet" as he chuckled nervously while Yada giggled at their antics.

Korosensei scratched his head as he said "Right, I'll keep that in mind. But anyway, the irresistible siren sounds of summer are beyond count. Now then as we plunge head long into the break remember this, a certain main event is just around the corner.

Rio smirked as he said "Trust us teach. No one is going to forget that. Especially after Eddy made some good points to wager this little beauty" as she held up their pamphlet.

Eddy smirked at her phrasing him and he said "Yea, I am a genius."

"I have yet to see that happen" mumbled Eric to Yada but Eddy had good enough hearing to say,

"HEY" while Rio just laughed at his reaction.

Korosensei just giggled as he said "Indeed, you are Eddy, my boy. I have to say I am surprised at how you thought about wagering this against A-class. I have to say I am impressed Eddy" said Korosensei.

Eric turned to face him and said "Yea, I would have never thought of that. I, too, am impressed."

"Well after all the crap they've done to us, I thought to fight fire with fire, as the saying goes. That and I wanted to try out my new swimsuit and this would be a good way to do so" said Eddy in confidence.

Eric internally groaned as he remembered when he had the other Eds wear those embarrassing swimsuits, that they wore to a swimming party. Eric, of course, didn't wear them but he really had a hard time trying to get them out of the pool area when they lost them. He shuddered at that experience.

"Right. Every year, this little event is a privileged reserve for the students with the highest scores on the finals. That is to say, A-class. This time, however, A and E-class were neck and neck in the top 50th percentile. So I'm proud to say you boys and girls more than qualify...." to which some of the students opened the pamphlet and smiled at what it was.

"........for the Kunugigaoka Junior High Summer special course in Okinawa. 3 whole days in one of the finest resorts on the island" cheered Korosensei as did everyone.

'Aww yea. 3 whole days of fun in the sun summer time. We've never been to Okinawa so I could say that me and the Eds were defiantly excited. But it wasn't just because of the trip. We were excited for another reason.'

Back in A-class, the Big 5 were sulking at their defeat at the hands of E-class.

"Who even cares. So they get to go to Okinawa, big deal. Its a local trip" said Seo to the other 3 but everyone else...

....was pretty angry at them saying things like:

"You were suppose to represent us and you choked."

"Asuno's the only one of you worth a damn."

"Everyone shut up" yelled Gakushu as he glared with his head down. "We lost that's the end of it. At least have the self respect to graceful in defeat."

"Heads will roll for this and E-class necks will be the first on the chopping block followed by my father" declared Gakushu.

Back at E-class, the class were talking about what to do with Korosensei's tentacle freebies.

"So then what will it be" asked Korosensei to the class.

Eric stepped up and said "Me, the Eds, and few others thought that those tentacle freebies would be best used during the summer trip" as he looked through the Master Plan while some of the students giggled in sneakiness.

Korosensei smiled as he said "Very good, 8 tentacles would create a major handicap but that's not all. Anything about Okinawa strike you as advantageous? Perhaps the fact that its an island, surrounded by water" he said in a hinting way, to which Eric then began to write down the Master Plan.

Korosensei then began scratching his head as he sweated while saying "I'll be honest with you children. Korosensei is more than a wee bit nervous."

He then stopped his scratching as he then faced the crowd and said "As you know I've handed out the report cards to show to your parents but these" he said as he grabbed a punch of paper and a red pen and began writing on them as fat as he could and then finished saying "....are the report cards for assassins" and then threw them in the air around the class.

Everyone looked up and saw the papers flying down from his throw.

'Double circles for the entire class the highest score possible given to us by our target. Or so I thought.'

Eric's amazement was cut short by something being placed in his hand suddenly, to which he turned and saw another paper like the ones flying the air but these had....

.....three circles? Wait, what?

Eric then looked out of the corner of his eyes and saw that the Eds had gotten them too as they showed him their papers, but no one else seemed to notice, nor have any of their own.

Eric was so confused by what this meant. He knew it was from his teacher since they came out of nowhere, but why did he give them to the 4 of them and no one else.

As the papers soon all hit the floor, Yada saw the paper Eric had and was puzzled by it as well.

Eric turned to Korosensei who beaming at how the class did well on the finals. He then stood up and asked "Sir. What is this?" which caught the attention of the class and the other teachers.

"Why did you give me and the Eds 3 circles but not everyone else" asked Eric, grabbing everyone's attention.

This seemed to take everyone by surprise as they all stood up and said "WHHAAATTTT" but then glared at their teacher and they pulled out their guns and began firing at Korosensei.

"Hey, why did they get 3 but we got stuck with 2, huh teach" said Maehara in anger.

"Yea, why do they get a higher grade. Only one of them got the highest score" yelled Kimura.

The Eds and Eric ducked down as they didn't expect this to happen.

Korosensei just kept dodging their bullets and said "If you all will stop firing and allow me to talk, I will explain my actions" he said in a calm way.

They kept firing at him but soon they stopped as they knew this wasn't going anywhere. Soon Korosensei began sweeping away the bullets and said,

"I understand your guys frustrations but I have good reasons to give those 3 circles to Eric and the Eds" as he stopped his sweeping and set the broom aside.

"What reason would that be, sir?" asked Nagisa.

"Yea, only Double D made the highest scores out of all 4 of us and I would understand if you gave 3 circles to those who made it but why only me and the Eds" asked Eric as he held out the paper to him for emphasize.

Everyone took their seats as Korosensei faced the class.

"I gave you those scores because I believed that you earned them. I gave you those three circles because I am very proud of your guy's progress since coming here, or more to say, landing here in E-class" said Korosensei.

"What do you mean, sir?" asked Double D.

Korosensei scratched his head again as he said "Well its because of a number of reasons that I felt that those scores I gave you were earned by you 4. But the main one is from what Eddy said during midterms" as the class soon became quiet.

Eddy looked slightly shocked as he said "What do you mean?"

Korosensei sighed as he said "It was abundantly clear to me that everyone, but you 4, had given up on trying to give it your all on the midterms. The entire class was just going to blow past it and give up on trying to be better, not even trying to pass on midterms and just focus on killing me and take the money" as some of the students soon felt guilty as they suddenly knew that after working so hard this round, that wasn't them a couple of weeks ago.

"Admittedly, I was furious at their actions for just relying on the money to get through life and not their grades as well, but you came up and proved me wrong, Eddy. You talked about how you hated yourself for all the misdeeds you 4 had done in the past, and how you wanted to make up for them by trying to pass the midterms, no, this whole school year" said Korosensei while the class sat in focus.

"Your commitment to being better than ever before really surprised me Eddy. But it wasn't just you but also Eric, Double D, and Ed. I was surprised to see you four of you wanting to be better. After my talk with everyone, it seemed everyone else was ready to try and work at it too. I guess you could say that both our speeches were infectious to everyone else that had given up. Granted, we didn't do so hot on the midterms but that was my fault. I had underestimated their exam questions and it led to our downfall. But the point still stood, Eddy. You tried your best even when things weren't looking so good. That was one reason that I felt those 3 circles were something you earned, but its not just that" said Korosensei as he paused for a bit.

"What else could your reasons be sir?" asked Double D.

Korosensei scratched his head again and said nervously "Well, the thing is.....I have a confession to make, class", which made everyone a little skeptical and nervous.

He faced the class again and said "During one of the weekends where there wasn't much to be done, I decided to make another trip to your hometown of Peach Creek. But not for those yummy bowling balls you guys call Jawbreakers" said Korosensei as he drooled at the thought of them, making everyone, but the Eds and Eric, cringe at how nasty that was. But the Eds and Eric were still more shocked on how he took a trip to their home town, at least for the Eds it was.

"Why did you do that, sir?" asked Double D as everyone was now hooked on the conversation.

Korosensei wiped the drool off his "chin" as he then said "As I mentioned in the past, I read your report about your time in Peach Creek and I was rather surprised by the amount of destruction and chaos you 4 had caused before. And it would've been understandable if you were sent to E-class already, even if you had not broken their trophy case" said Korosensei as he pointed at the 4, which made the Eds and Eric drooped their heads down in shame. Yada saw this and patted Eric on the back to cheer him up.

"Admittedly, after spending some time with you 4, I was a little skeptical about you guys causing that much damage, but on our trip to Kyoto, when you guys began talking about your adventures and scams, it got me more curious about what exactly you 4 were really like the before you came here. It was crazy how you talked about your crazy adventures like a animal washing station, fighting with fish over a pit, and causing your neighbors grass to grow as tall as trees, that I just had to see this place and it's people with my own eyes" said Korosensei as the Eds and Eric lifted their heads to look at him.

"So when no one had anything for me to do on one weekend, I decided to take a trip to Peach Creek. When I got there, I thought about asking those other kids you had mentioned before. And from what I learned from them and from what I found at your old school........... I'm more than happy at how much you guys have changed from your old ways, mostly. They're still there in the sense of their wacky antics but not as much as the past" said Korosensei.

This took the class by surprise as they gave slight gasps.

"What do you mean by that?" asked Eddy as he sweated, nervously.

"I mean I'm happy to see how different you 4 are than you were two years or even one year ago" said Korosensei in a calm voice.

This really took everyone by surprise as they were curious as to what he meant.

Eddy began to sweat a little bit as he said "What do you mean, sir?" but Korosensei just smiled at the 4.

He then said "I'm proud by the fact that I don't see the Peach creek Eds and Eric of scams and misdeeds but the new and improved Eds and Eric of studying and assassination attempters."

Questions marks just floated over the 4 as Double said "I'm afraid we don't understand what you mean sir?"

Korosensei just chuckled his normal chuckle as he said "Nuruhuhuhuhuhu. What I mean is this. When I went to Peach Creek, I went around your old Cul-de-sac and I asked the kids and parents about what they thought of you or at least what they saw you guys were doing when you were doing your own things in the past" said Korosensei in his calm voice.

This made the Eds and Eric very nervous as Eric said "But sir, you stick out like a sore thumb. They would easily tell something was off about you."

Korosensei chuckled as he said "Nonsense, my disguising techniques are flawless, they didn't suspect a thing" as his skin changed to a normal tan color skin, with his wig on and round nose on, as the class just sweatdropped at how he thinks that that was blending in.

Korosensei then ditched the disguise and went back to his normal yellow skin and said "But I will say this. Your neighborhood kids are exactly like you said on the train. Oh boy, were they insane. And loud too" said Korosensei as he leaned on the podium with his head in his tentacle fingers.

"Getting off track sir" said Double D.

"Oh right, sorry. Anyways, I went around and asked the kids, as I said I worked at the school you guys are at, about what they thought of you or what they saw you guys doing a lot when they ever saw your 4....." said Korosensei as he paused for dramatic effect.

He then continued saying ".....And I'm proud to say that I, mostly, don't see the old Eds and Eric, but instead, I see how much you 4 have changed since leaving home."

This made the whole class confused as Maehara say "Um sir. Could you be a little more specific. We're a little in the dark here."

"From the way everyone talked about you 4, I can safely say, that you've changed completely, well I should say mostly. If this were the old Eds and Eric, they would be trying every chance they could get to escape this class through 'very comedic ways, I will say' but yet I don't those 4 right now. You've all managed to stay in class and were taking these things seriously. You studied hard, tried to overcome obstacles that came your way, and always still managed to be there for each other, especially with recent events" said Korosensei as he was referring to what happened with Akira.

Eric knew what he meant as he drooped his head slightly in sadness as he recalled what happened during that time. It still hurt him, but he soon felt hands on his shoulders as he turned to his sides and saw the Eds placing their hands on his shoulders while smiling at him. He then felt another hand rub his back gently as he turned and saw Yada smiling brightly at him, which made his heart flutter a bit, but he couldn't help but smile. He was glad he made a friend with her.

Korosensei and the class watched this happen and some couldn't help but smile. They knew the bind those four had and we're glad that they were still great friends, even through all the crap they've been through.

The 5 then turned their attention back to Korosensei as he giggled while saying "Nuruhuhuhuhu. See what I mean. The bond between you four is something amazing. And it's even more amazing considering what you've been through and how much it's made your friendship as strong as steel, and these are the reasons that I feel that you 4 deserved those 3 circles."

The class waited in anticipation to what he was going to say next.

"I gave you 4 those 3 circles......

............For your progress from you old selves. One circle means good as a student. Two means good for assassins. But I gave you that third circle to mean good for your progress as characters. I gave you them because from what I've seen from your old school's security footage and from what everyone has said about you,  you guys are not the Eds and Eric from what they've described you 4 now. You are, mostly, completely different that what you once were" said Korosensei in a cheerful and proud way.

This made everyone gasp at his reasons as they were astonished as to why he gave them 3 circles. Eric and the Eds were especially surprised as to why. They had never realized how much they've changed.

'I guess I had never thought about it before. We really have come in such a long way. Especially how the Eds have changed. It made me proud to see them changing. Especially Eddy. His only obsession of money is still there but he truly wants to try and be a better person and I guess its shown from his dedication to studying and actually working hard. Granted, he still mumbles in annoyance about it but he truly wants to be better. Gotta say, I am proud of how Eddy's changed. Or how all of us have changed since coming here. And its all thanks to him, Korosensei.'

"And as your teacher, you 4, I am as proud as any teacher would be to see their students change for the better. Your progress and devotion to change and become smarter and more resourceful makes me the happiest teacher in the world. You 4 are defiantly worthy of being my assassins" said Korosensei as he smiled his biggest smile.

The classroom grew silent at what Korosensei had said but then the class soon roared with applause as they clapped their handsThe Eds and Eric turned to see them all cheering for them. They can truly say they never say this coming.

"Good job guys. We're proud of you" said Meg as she clapped for them.

"Yea, if your stories are anything to go by, you guys are defiantly different than before" said Nagisa while he clapped too.

"Way to go, you 4. Three circles is really top of the grade" said Isogai in cheerfulness.

Eric couldn't help but feel happy at the sudden praise.

He had never gotten this before.

Before, he had tried to do some school activities at the other schools he went to but he never was allowed in them, because they all made him an outcast and never associated with him. Even when he made it in one, he still was the outcast and never got any attention or appreciation from anyone, only his parents.

Yea, its nice to be loved by your parents, but when a whole school doesn't appreciate or acknowledge what you do, it really hurts. So seeing this level of appreciation not only for him, but also to the Eds as well, made Eric feel very happy and proud of himself.

He then felt someone hug him from behind his back and he turned to see it was Yada, smiling happy.

"I'm so proud of you Eric. Its amazing how far all 4 of you have come. I'm happy for you"as he squeezed him tight. Eric just smiled as he held onto her arms as a form of hug.

Rio saw the sudden hug as she then smirked as she said "Ooo. If your that proud of him, why not give him a kiss, Yada. He has been a good boy, hasn't he" in her teasing way.

Hearing this made both of them blush and pull away from each other as the clapping stopped. They then heard Korosensei giggle as they all turned to face him.

"You've come along way, you 4, but so have your classmates. You all have become a formidable bunch, You should be proud of yourselves. The first term has always been about the basics which you've mastered. But now, we're going to step things up. First term is over. Let the assassination classroom summer vacation begin. Time for a little R&R. A little supplemental study. And a lot of killing" said Korosensei as he stood out on the roof as he held some swimming gear with his tentacles out stretched as everyone began heading home.

'Gotta say, me and the Eds left that classroom feeling better about ourselves than ever before. We really have come a long way since our screw ups in Peach Creek. Well, I guess they still followed us but to be honest, I'm glad they did. Had we not been sent here, we wouldn't have an awesome teacher like Korosensei, nor would I have found more love here than any place in the world. Summer vacation is now under-weigh. Lets show Korosensei how to have fun. Assassination style.'

{Playing Welcome Back by John Sebastian}

[Instrumentals] The opening fades into a scenery of Tokyo, Japan.

[Welcome back, your dreams were your ticket out] The scene then cuts to the Eds and Eric walking on a sidewalk. Eddy in front of Ed, who was in front of Double D, with Eric behind him. They didn't seek to each, as they went to school.

[Welcome back, to that same old place that you laughed about] The next scene cuts to them in class with the other students as Korosensei teaches the class. The camera was positioned in the back of the room, so all you saw was their back and Korosensei teaching them.

[Well the names have all changed since you hung around] Korosensei's attention was caught by the bell and his speed out and back in with an arm full of sweets and candies, making the students sweat-drop anime style at him.

[But those dreams have remained and they've turned around] The next scene shows the Eds and Eric gathered around Double D's decks, with the smart Ed boy discussing a new plan from assassination, pointing to a piece of paper in his hand as he talked.

[Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)] Eddy points to paper and asks a question. Double D answers him with a smile.

[Back here where we need ya (Back here where we need ya)] With Korosensei out of the room, Double D was at the front of the class, stating the next plan for another assassination, as the class watched and listen.

[Yeah we tease him a lot 'cause we got him on the spot] The scene then cuts to Ed, Eric, Isogai, Kimura, Maehara, and Chiba outside in front of the open window of the classroom that Korosensei used to exit when he wants to go to a far off place, putting up a large sheet of plastic to cover the open window frame.

[Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back, welcome back] Double D, who was in the class as they worked, shows a description of the plan on the blackboard. Showing that when Korosensei came back, the sheet of paper would act as a trap to tangle him up, so they could jump him and kill him.

[Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back] The boys that were working outside came in through the classroom door, with Eric said they were done with a thumbs up. Everyone quickly sat down in their seats.

[Yeah we tease him a lot, welcome back, welcome back] Korosensei ripped through the sheet of plastic with his Mach 20 speed, and stood at the front of the class, shocking the students.

[Cause we got him on the spot, welcome back, welcome back] Korosensei then lectures them about their failed assassination attempt, as they all look down.

[Yeah we tease him a lot 'cause we got him on the spot] The camera cuts to a hand holding a small yellow notebook with the description of the assassination, and a number to indicate what attempt it was. It was crossed out by a red marker.

[Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back, welcome back] It is shown to be Eric who was holding the notebook, with the Eds around him. They signed in disappointment, as the sunsets.

[Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back] They look at each other and shrugged with a small in an 'Oh well' manner. Eric then flipped over to the next page and put down the next number for the next assassination plan.

[Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back] The Eds and Eric are then seen walking back home before everything fades to black.
