After finishing taking the medicine, Lucas immediately returned to his wife's room. He seemed to be sitting beside the patient's bed while observing the face of Ellena who was now lying down with her eyes closed in front of him.

The corners of Lucas' lips seemed to lift into a smile, when he saw the face of his wife who was so calm and soothing. Ellena did seem to be sleeping so soundly that Lucas didn't have the heart to wake her up, even if it was just to give her some medicine.

The longer the gaze deepened, even Lucas was reluctant to turn his face the other way. A smile formed on his cheeks, revealing a glint of happiness on his face. His heart warmed as he watched the face of the innocent figure in front of him.
