family issues

"I'll sleep early today, i need to go to work early tomorrow" dad said.

then he left the unfinished food on his plate. he took his phone and head upstairs.

"i will do the dishes mom, go and see if dad needs anything" i said, looking at my mom, who is still puzzled on my dad's behavior.

after i was done with the dishes, i stayed on the garden. looking at the yellow rose glowing with the moon's light. Usually there are three of us here, hanging out after dinner, telling how our day went. but today i was alone. but i just shrugged my shoulder.

after an hour, i went back to my room and do my bed time routine. then go to sleep. without knowing that this will be the last peaceful day in my family. because a disaster will be knocking our door.
